This place has a nice decor and feeling, it's new so most of it is in perfect condition, lots of parking in the area and in front of it. The service was attentive. The food was just average, the egg sandwich as well the ham and cheese were not heat up properly so the bread was saggy, the cafe con leche also average, too much foam on top which gives it the feel of a cappuccino. The chairs inside are a bit uncomfortable but the ones outside are very relaxing. At this time of the year a little harder to stay outside for long due to the heat. I'm sure this place will make improvements and get it right soon...

On my trip to Florida I set a goal to stop in and get cuban coffee at as many spots as I could in a short time...This was my first stop. I got the cuban coffee colada and it was perfect. Staff was quick and friendly. I didn't try any food since I has already eaten at the hotel, but it looks authentic so I'll have to come back. We also happened upon a cute famers market( I love a good famers market), which was the perfect setting to drink my coffee

This was a small cozy cafe. The place was colorful and cute. It had personality. I liked the place the moment I stepped in. To my surprise I found Arepas here and I love Arepas. It is not a Cuban thing but it is good. It was a surprise to find them here. I got something that I don't know the name but I have always liked. It's like a corn pancake with cheese on top. It was good. I was glad I found a place that makes them so close to me. The counter person was friendly. The food serwas fast. I had a good experience. The desserts and pastries displayed on that counter all good good. They have a good size menu and everything looks good and they sell ice cream too.

Went here for the first time for lunch on Saturday. It's a cute place with nice decor. The seats are a little uncomfortable (wooden), but we still stayed a long time anyway as it was not crowded. Ordered an arepa with scrambled eggs. It came out with cheese on top of it alone. I told the server, and she said it was put in wrongly, and that they charged me less for it. I decided that the cheese arepa was good enough and said I am fine with this. They came out with the scramble eggs in a few minutes. When I tried to pay, they said no because it was their mistake. The arepa was very tasty. They have other interesting things in the menu and would come here again.

Stopped at Cuban Cafe after our morning ride for a cafecito and a bite to eat. The staff was super friendly, and the place took us back to abuela's kitchen with its charming cultural paintings. The coffee was exactly what you'd expect from a Cuban household, rich and bold. They also had some really nice coffee mugs and espresso cups for sale. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

I've been living in Deerfield for 5 years and I was so excited to see this spot open up at the cove! I'm Cuban and have been dying for more Cuban food to join the local scenery and this place does not disappoint. Their espresso, cafe con leche, bakery items, and sandwiches are so delicious and classic. Service was great, the inside of the place is so cute and clean too. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for an easy going but tasty breakfast or lunch spot!

Cute new cafe in The Cove shopping plaza. Stopped by and checked out this family owned establishment and enjoyed a delicious Cuban coffee and Cuban sandwich. Very pleased with our selection and walked away with a "crodot" (croissant donut hybrid) to try later. Happy to welcome this cafe into our hood and will definitely be back. Check it out!

You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, and everything always tastes fresh and well put together. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. I usually get the Arthur Ave, it comes with prosciutto, stracciatella, arugula, and sundried peppers. I like to add pesto, which really takes it to the next level. My boyfriend can't have cheese, so he orders the Arthur Ave without it and swaps in lettuce for the arugula. He also adds tomato, pickle, and onion, and loves it every time. We've also tried other sandwiches like the buto cutlet, Boar's Head ham sandwich, bresaola, BLT, and more, everything has been consistently good. We especially love their fresh focaccia bread. It's soft, flavorful, and really makes the sandwiches stand out. It's definitely our go-to choice for any sandwich there. If you go later in the day, sometimes they are out so keep that in mind. We feel lucky to have this spot right around the corner from us. It's one of our regular go tos, whether we want something quick or just a really good sandwich. We'll definitely keep coming back and recommending it to others!

It transports you to an Italian NY deli. The place is packed, bustling spot and that alone tells you everything you need to know. You know it's good when you walk in and the place is packed. We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The service was super friendly despite how busy it was. I had my eye on the black & white cookie too because what's an authentic Italian deli without one? Sounds like my next visit to Boca includes trying more stuff!

The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

Whenever I head south, it's the very first place I stop--and when I'm driving home, it's the last place I hit before getting back on the road. I even have to bring home a full order for my family, three hours away. I literally drive three hours just to eat Laspada's. That's how good they are. It was one of my favorite places when I lived in South Florida, and after all these years, they're still making the best hoagies I've ever had. Fresh, flavorful, stacked, and totally unmatched. If you know, you know. And if you don't--go. You'll understand immediately.

I was driving down Glades Road on a rainy Sunday around 10:45 am. Decided to pull over into this…read moreshopping center to see what was open until the rain let up (which it didn't). Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

We came here with friends and I'll give credit where it's due. The beach view is spectacular. The kind of view that makes you forget your phone exists for a minute. Ocean, breeze, the whole postcard situation. Absolutely nails it. And then the food shows up... and things take a turn. I went with the blackened fish sandwich. Cooked properly, no complaints there. But flavor? It felt like it forgot to show up for work. Just kind of... there. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the low point. My wife went with the fish tacos and called them straight up terrible. Not "meh." Not "could be better." Terrible. And that pretty much set the tone for the table. So now we're not talking mid anymore. We're talking mid-to-poor across the board when it comes to food. This is still a great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink while staring at the ocean and pretending you didn't come here hungry. If you're coming for the food, just know you're here for the view that happens to serve meals, not the other way around. Pro tip: only do the outdoor seating. The view is the whole reason you came here. Inside, you're just eating disappointing food without the ocean doing heavy lifting. Two stars. The view is doing everything it can, but it can't season the fish.
