First time here and won't return simply because they ripped me off. I ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich which is just ham and cheese but I asked no ham. She charged me $2 extra at $9.95. This type of dishonesty from a business will forever lose my business.

This was a small cozy cafe. The place was colorful and cute. It had personality. I liked the place the moment I stepped in. To my surprise I found Arepas here and I love Arepas. It is not a Cuban thing but it is good. It was a surprise to find them here. I got something that I don't know the name but I have always liked. It's like a corn pancake with cheese on top. It was good. I was glad I found a place that makes them so close to me. The counter person was friendly. The food serwas fast. I had a good experience. The desserts and pastries displayed on that counter all good good. They have a good size menu and everything looks good and they sell ice cream too.

Very pleased with our selection and walked away with a "crodot" (croissant donut hybrid) to try later. Happy to welcome this cafe into our hood and will definitely be back. Check it out!

Stopped in for breakfast before heading back up to Port St. Lucie. It's located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking, which made it an easy stop. You order and pay at the counter, though there was a bit of a communication barrier while placing our order. We ordered three ham, egg, and cheese croissants along with three café con leches. The portions were very generous--honestly, it worked out in our favor that only two of the three sandwiches we asked for were put in. The food came out fresh and everything was delicious. We really enjoyed the overall experience. The indoor seating consists of all wood tables, so it's not the coziest setup, but that didn't bother me. A true Cuban Cafe within the Cove plaza in Deerfield Beach. The interior decor was traditional Cuban decor with old school push button typewriters and antique fashion telephones (not cellular phones) against the wall. Love the signs in the hallway listing how many miles to Havana Cuba. The bathroom was clean continued the authentic Cuban decor including a potted Dracaena trifasciata or more commonly known as the Snake Plant. Lots of choices for breakfast including little sandwiches and pastry. For a mid day snack they actually offered ice cream, which is uncommon in a Cuban Cafe. This place has a nice decor and feeling, it's new so most of it is in perfect condition, lots of parking in the area and in front of it. The service was attentive. The food was just average, the egg sandwich as well the ham and cheese were not heat up properly so the bread was saggy, the cafe con leche also average, too much foam on top which gives it the feel of a cappuccino. The chairs inside are a bit uncomfortable but the ones outside are very relaxing. At this time of the year a little harder to stay outside for long due to the heat. Great little place with a variety of treats and friendly service. Despite the photos displayed that showed their sundae has fudge sauce they do not have fudge sauce. Regardless, our "sundae" was tasty and enjoyable. read more

I literally can't even believe these reviews. I was born and raised in miami, tell me one Cuban bakery/cafe that's foams a cafe con leche when it's mixed. Why did you use American coffee? What does an arepa have to do with Cuban food. Why are your croquetas on display a day old? Frappuccinos are not Cuban. As a Cuban this is crazy. Worst cafe con leche ever. In my opinion, this is for the owners, go to Chantilly on 8th street and 127th and do what they do. Or go to Vicky bakery or any Cuban cafe. Include a Cuban classic breakfast option, that's Eggs scrambled with diced ham a side of Cuban bread filled with butter then toasted and pressed and a real Cuban coffee with French fries. read more

service is 10/10, food? 10/10. Their almond croissant SLAPS. Usually when you get a croissant it's not filled with anything, or if it is, there's not much in it. But this croissant, it was FILLED. The almond paste was oozing out when you bite into it, absolutely delicious. All for $3.16, hello? for that price? amazing. We asked for it warm and it came out like it was fresh out the oven. The final straw which prompted us to walk out: server brings over cafe con leches, I notice mine has an ant crawling on my mug. Upon further inspection, there is an ant floating in my coffee. This place needs a health inspection ASAP.

The service is always top tier so you can come anytime and get good service even if it's busy. They have indoor and outdoor seating and I like that. The outdoor seating can sometimes be a little loud from the traffic of Sample road, however you can always go inside if you need a quieter meal. This place is definitely a go to for me.

I will say during that time the soup was a little disappointing as it was almost entirely noodles. But the cubano sandwich was delicious. The mamey batido was also disappointing. I would have given it to three stars if this was my only trip but given their history, they definitely deserve four. However, used it they don't disappoint and we definitely would go back. In general this has been a consistently good Cuban restaurant with authentic food and extremely friendly staff.

Disappointed in the Cuban Sandwich -- But Some Bright Spots…read more I came here based on the stellar 4.6 rating and 150+ reviews, but most of the rave reviews seem to be from 2-6 years ago, before the place changed hands. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and unfortunately, it was a miss -- maybe a 3/10 at best. The meat was lukewarm, the cheese wasn't melted, and the bread wasn't buttery or crisp -- just a bit hard from the panini press. The pickles were solid, and the mustard was tangy and balanced, but those were the only highlights of the sandwich. I did have a cortadito while waiting, and that was excellent. The coffee, croquetas, and baked goods looked promising -- I might come back to try those instead. But if you're coming specifically for the Cuban sandwich, I'd head to Sanguich in Little Havana -- that one's a 9/10 in my book.

I ordered stuffed clams that were outstanding packed with chunks of clams in a tasty stuffing. The Haddock was thick, flaky, fresh and outstandingly sweet. I crumble ritz crackers, melted butter and garlic and top fish which I wash and dry, add fresh lemon juice wine and garlic. I'll put it against any restaurant... I can't wait to get back for another dose.
