I have to say, while l haven't been given too many flowers in my life, l have probably been given around 50 arrangements and this shop BY FAR exceeded expectations. I ended up also using this shop for my husband's military retirement ceremony where the wife (me) and the mother receive beautiful arrangements. Very beautifully made and customized bouquet and corsage for my daughter's prom. This place was a complete breath of fresh air. I did not know this place existed. It's kind of hidden on the corner of a busy road off of the main strip. However, once you go into the establishment, it is filled with amazing sense of beautiful foliage and greenery, and just very pleasant staff who are ready to assist you and talk through every aspect of what you're looking for and how you want arranged and when you need it. Highly disappointing and an antiquated business. I miss the 1970s too but their set up is ridiculous, no online orders, phone only, and manual processes.. not one computer used per the staff. Sounded like a bunch of sweet grandmas and while I think that's cute, not great attention to detail on the orders. On a day of significant personal meaning, at 3pm, they call to inform they don't have the kind of flower I ordered because they "opened it too soon" - what? They called at 3pm. Three PM, or at 15 hours out of the remaining 24 in day. Are you seeing the level of inconvenience? For a delivery order. Late enough in the afternoon in between a rock and a hard spot as to how to fix their amazing failure. The customer service was very disappointing. Whoever I spoke to showed no awareness of the problem or really any empathy of any kind, and expected me to care they were impacted by funerals. I couldn't care less about any other order and I imagine most customers feel that way. The rep doubled down and said "well nobody is going to care about one order when we get large orders" Thanks for confirming! Unless you're buying $1k worth of flowers for fifty or more people, I suggest you go to another floral shop where you order can get the quality and attention your loved ones deserve. The worst part is, when I finally saw the delivered flowers, they looked dry and wilted.. like they were already a few days old. They ruined a huge occasional. I won't trust this place again with my business, I encourage you to look elsewhere! read more

I stumbled inside this cute store while walking around the Artists Alley. I got attracted by the cute signs, flowers and went in to check it out. Nice customer service, the girl working here guided me to a gift shop which was cute and perfect to browse. I was looking for a souvenir for myself and they have various cute items: pottery, tiles, etc created by local artists. So I got a nice refrigerate magnate to remind my of the area, original, hand painted, reasonably priced. If you live here, they do sell flowers here but also decor items. I was in need of a florist that delivers to the Oceanside Mortuary, so I called Seaside Flowers. This was for a family member who couldn't make it to a funeral service. With only a 3-day notice, they were able to accommodate my request. The woman who answered the phone was extremely helpful, informative, and compassionate. She also did a great job of explaining how the arrangement will look different from the pictures on their website - due to the floral availability and bloom quality. This is such a charming local flower shop! The staff was friendly and helpful and got me what I was looking for. I was able to hand select blooms and build a bouquet to match what I was looking for and the flowers were gorgeous! The cost was reasonable as well. It took a little bit of time, but there's an art to arranging flowers. It was wrapped up with a bow and in complimentary tissue paper. They also wet wrapped it to last until they reached their destination. It was a nice experience and I'll be back again when I need flowers. IMPRESSED!.... And that doesn't happen very often. I admit, I was ignorant when ordering flowers and I thought the initial pricing was expensive. I quickly learned I knew very little and I should have followed my own business model of working by referral (Seaside was referred by Sea Star). I went on a quest to find the "best" deal in North County and after chatting with others florist, it was clear Seaside Florist was the right place to go. They were amazing patient with all my questions (after all, I never ordered flowers for a memorial). For what would seemed to be close to the same price of other florist, they promised the very minimum of what they would do (Vs what other florist expected they can do - if they had the flowers at all). Plus, they would deliver AND set up the flowers. So I ordered the flowers (with special requests) for the number of people that would be on the Sea Star for my Dad's memorial with the details of the date and time. I never expected they would call the evening before to verify the head count so they would be sure to be able to meet all our needs and maximize the flower count based on the budget. They next day when arriving early at the Sea Star, they were already finishing decorating the Sea Star and I was impressed by the quality, the number of flowers and how well they decorated. Seaside Florist 100% under-promised and over-delivered! It is not possible for me to emphasize how much I would refer this company. They are amazing in every way. So....
