I could not be happier! Sherrie took my vision and went beyond! The flowers transformed the reception and my bouquet was everything!

Beautiful and grand arrangement delivered to my grandmother with care, on time for Mother's Day. Thank you so much

Everyone who saw this arrangement said it was the most beautiful they have ever seen!

A friend of mine bought me a large arrangement that I went in and picked up on a Friday afternoon. They were kind enough to wait for me to get there! It was the most beautiful, colorful arrangement I have ever seen, and everyone else who saw it said so, too. It lasted a long time, and I couldn't get enough of sitting and looking at it. Thank you for the awe-inspiring beauty!

My husband surprised me with the most beautiful, fragrant flowers while I was traveling out of town for work over my birthday. The arrangement was stunning, so fresh, and brightened my hotel room for nearly a week. I was genuinely sad to leave them behind when I flew home, as there was no way to bring them with me. Such a thoughtful gift from a Carlsbad guest all the way from New Jersey!

My mom just retired after 40 years of work so I decided to buy her 40 roses. Hey Flower Man did not disappoint! I don't know the first thing when it comes to flowers and roses so I told them to do whatever they thought would look good. It turned out even better than I expected! A little pricey ($260 after taxes) , though admittedly I rarely buy roses so definitely worth the value. My mom's reaction was priceless. The roses were all so fresh and vibrant. You could also tell that they take pride in their arrangements as the greenery and rocks were all placed perfectly. It was worth the drive from La Jolla to get these and I'll definitely be back!

I ordered these flowers for delivery and was very satisfied with their quality and service. On the day of delivery, Brian called me to notify me that he wasn't able to open the gate. He eventually was able to and deliver the flowers. He also sent pictures to confirm the delivery. I greatly appreciate this level of dedication and customer service. The flowers which were for someone who recently lost a loved one were so beautiful. I will definitely order again from Hey Flower Man in the future. read more

I've ordered wrist corsages from here for all our events and they have been nothing less than fabulous. Colors are spot on, quality is consistently great, and service is friendly and helpful. I contacted Hey Flower Man for a same-day gift basket delivery for my sister and brother-in-love, who were visiting the area to celebrate a birthday. Stephanie accommodated my request and delivered a beautiful gift basket with exquisite selections of fruit, nuts, popcorn, and chocolates wrapped beautifully. I received a photo from the florist and my sister to showcase this custom-made basket. I would definitely call them again. I finally popped in to this locally-owned floral shop after driving by all the time, and I'm sure glad I did! Amazing service, fresh flowers, two beautiful custom-made arrangements, at a great value, and in no time at all, with a smile and a nice conversation. The price was super fair as well. Just yesterday I ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered today. Hey Flower Man did a wonderful job of quick delivery and effective communication. When the bouquet arrived to the recipient, she sent me a picture. I called HFM because I saw a discrepancy between what had been ordered and what was sent. The flowers were fresh and colorful, but the arrangement was just different than I had imagined it. HFM indulged all my questions and resolved the matter perfectly. I have never been so disappointed in a florist I order flowers for my daughter based upon a photo on their website. There are three choices and I selected the most expensive deluxe option. As you can see from the pictures, it is in no way deluxe and doesn't resemble the picture on their website in the least. Perfect example of a bate and switch. read more

They saved my wedding! I walked into the shop just ONE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING hoping the florist could put together ALL of the flowers for my wedding. Without hesitation or a moment's delay, I was quickly assisted by an expert florist in selecting the flowers for the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, flower crowns, groomsmen boutineers and even centerpieces. I insisted that I arrange all of the greenery and flowers myself so was then showed the best way to do that. The shop owner even showed me how to make a boutineer and gave me ALL of the supplies! I was in and out of the shop in 30 minutes and picked up my order the next morning. I loved my wedding partly because of the beautiful flowers that were exactly what I wanted. The Flower Man is my hero! I have no doubt that anyone who walks into the doors of this shop will be impressed and taken care of :) read more

I live out of state and my mom lives in CA, today was her birthday so I ordered online from Hey Flower Man! & let me just say, the online ordering process was flawless! I then called the store just to make sure that everything went through okay & the employee that answered (I didnt catch their name) was so nice and helpful and ensured me that they were already out for delivery and everything went through okay! I get a call from my mom tonight, literally yelling, because she was so surprised and absolutely loved the flowers & the mug/vase they came in! I will definitely recommend this place of business and use it as long as my mom is in CA! Thank you so much! read more

Was recommended to me by the resort we were staying at. Wanted to surprise my wife with a beautiful arrangement for our 30th anniversary. Called Hey Flower Man, they assisted me with selecting a flower arrangement for my price range. And they delivered the flowers to the resort we were staying before we arrived. They called me, left a voice mail to tell me the flowers were delivered. The flowers were in the room when we showed up. Awesome experience ordering from them. Will order again when we are back in town. My wife loved the arrangement. The flowers added to the enjoyment of our anniversary. Thank you for the great experience. read more

My wife and I went to Carlsbad for our anniversary, and I wanted to do something special for her, so I looked up some local florists to see if any of them could help me out. I ended up calling Hey Flower Man and talked to the owner for a while. He spent the time to get to know me and figure out what I was looking for. Very friendly guy! He delivered a big beautiful bouquet to the Carlsbad Inn at no extra charge! I would highly recommend him to anyone! It's a family business and he's very passionate about what he does, not the junk you'd see at one of those big companies that are just in it for the money. read more

I received a bouquet from my niece for Mother's Day. It is so beautiful, the flowers are fresh and it was delivered on Mother's Day. I noticed on their store hours that they aren't open on Sunday but I received my arrangement right on Mother's Day so they may have possibly been doing special deliveries. I will definitely use them in the future now that I know they do quality work. I'm so sick of the online florists that deliver old flowers in a box. Yuck! So much better to go with a local florist and support your (or the recipients) local businesses. read more

I was purchasing flowers 100% from reviews and didn't know where to go as I don't live in Carlsbad. "Francisco" from "Hey Flower Man" went above and beyond with his customer service. My friend had lost a parent and was having a difficult time. The flowers were gorgeous and my friend told me that they really uplifted him. This is the best customer service I have had from a flower shop in a long time! Great work, great customer service and definitely a great experience!! read more

Thanks for taking my phone order on new years eve and delivering as promised. You went above and beyond when I threw in an additional request for delivery of small gift with the flowers. The Flower Man is awesome! I walked in on a Saturday needing some birthday flowers for a friend, the Flower Man asked me my price point and what colors she liked, and proceeded to make the most beautiful custom arrangement ever! The flowers were super fresh and smelled lovely, and he did it all in less than 10 minutes. Sweet guy, I'll definitely be coming back around next time I'm in Carlsbad. read more

I had to call back and leave a second message before she returned my call. After we spoke the second time, she said her manager wasn't there and she didn't known if she could do anything. WHAT I GOT; -several white hydrangea 'filler flowers' with some of the requested flowers -I got a text from our Granddaughter asking if we had sent her flowers. There was a card signed by 'Mom' (which confused her mother and no one knew who the flowers were from). When I got the text of the BOUQUET photo, I asked about the flowers that were previously shown to me a day and a half prior. I was impatiently told they were too old and the bouquet was already on the truck for delivery! It was clear that it was a 'done' sale. For important occasions (as in a 21st birthday) you only get ONE CHANCE to make it special. . . I do not recommend this business for Phone orders.

I wanted to take the time to write this review because as I remember looking back on my wedding day what I had fond memories of as the day itself becomes so chaotic when you're the one getting married. And to this day I remember how beautiful my flowers were, Julie's kindness and how happy I was looking back at the decor and flowers! From start to finish I have nothing but praises for her and her work as a florist and also her kindness as well. I had a wedding budget that she worked with and she made my wedding floral dreams come true even with the limitations that I had. At times she also was able to help me on candles and other things to her expertise that I had no idea about and gave her best recommendations and for that I'm so so thankful. Always replied to every message, prompt and so helpful in many ways. So easy to work with. I had a vision and some specifics which she just understood, and florals looks so modern beautiful and just natural. Placement was so pretty and she added all these little touches throughout my venue that made it so pretty and elegant as well. Her ikebanas and floral choice for the table and bouquet were so gorgeous and she is such an expert at what she does. I loved my table layout the most and how the florals were laid out. I highly recommend Julie, she's so amazing! Thank you again for your beautiful work and your craft as a floral artist!
