She and her staff are professional, welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and never condescending. She never makes me feel rushed and she never upsells. She explains everything in a way that's easy to understand and I know she always does what's best for me and my lifestyle. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Tran is one of the nicest and most able medical professional I have ever encountered. With an office located in the Arundle Mill Costco, each visit is a breeze from a logistical standpoint. Her assistant is wonderful as well and really makes setting up an appointment very easy. I am not sure if the office takes insurance for regular eye exams (standard glasses and/or contact lenses) but the price is reasonable at $100 for my son's contact lens exam. Dr. Tran uses some of the latest equipment to conduct the exam. It looks like some futuristic Jetson's type stuff but it is very effective. However, what sets her apart from other Optometrists is that she always pulls out the the tried and true tools of the profession to check everything out. We never feel rushed with her and she listens to all of our concerns. Just a wonderful experience ensuring my son's vision is correct. She allays any nervousness or anxiety, especially in younger patients. Highly recommend Dr. Tran and her office. Five highly visible stars!!!

Karl (who took me back initially) took the time to explain and answer the many questions I had about what exactly was going on and the findings of the tests administered. Dr Boroughs was thorough and very friendly. She answered any questions and explained the findings as well. As a first time glasses wearer, Myasia was a huge help in the glasses department showing me and explaining what was/wasn't covered by insurance and get the correct sizes for me. I was never pressured to buy anything in house and they didn't rush me along. 5 star experience.

While the…read morefacility itself is clean, modest, and conveniently located, the front desk staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They regularly interrupt me while I'm speaking on the phone, use an outright disrespectful tone, and place me on hold for 10 minutes or more almost every time I call. Insurance and billing communication is a mess. No one at the front desk seems to understand insurance coverage or pricing, and I was given incorrect cost estimates for both a 6-month and 1-year supply of contacts. It took roughly seven phone calls just to get accurate information, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, my last two eye exams resulted in incorrect prescriptions. I continued to see blurry even while wearing the prescribed contacts, which meant unnecessary follow-up visits and wasted time. The doctors themselves are patient and pleasant, but the front desk staff and administrative disorganization overshadow any positive aspects of this practice. I truly hope administration seriously retrains their staff on professionalism, patience, and appropriate tone when speaking with patients, because as it stands, this experience is not one I would recommend.

To start, making an appointment during these covid times was super easy. As a new patient, I called in, was scheduled and sent paperwork immediately to complete online. Ann-Marie was lovely on the phone and I already knew I was walking in to something good. Day of my appointment arrives and I pull out front and give them a call. They asked me a covid questionnaire and then walked me to the back. The office is surprisingly big and decorated in such a modern, clean way. Outside of each room was a sign flipped to indicate clean between use. I saw Dr. Drew that day who was absolutely phenonmenal. He gave me a back story on the practice (the Drs. Doyle are married!), how they are family-owned and operated, and told me his number one goal of each appointment: for the patient to walk away having learned something. The exam was thorough, he explained my astigmatism to me, and even gave me information sheets to take home. As someone who got Lasik eye surgery a few years ago, it was important for me to understand how my eyes have progressed since. I ended up choosing to get glasses that day to help with computer-related reading. They had a great selection to choose from - you explain to the staff what type of style you are looking for and they pull five or so pairs that fit that description. All in all, such a wonderful five-star experience. I highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially those who are looking to get Lasik or have already gotten it with TLC. They are TLC-certified and within their network of providers.
