Dr Teles (5 stars) is professional and takes his time to make sure you have the right prescription. My problem is with the man who when you go in to have your glasses adjusted leaves you upfront never to be seen again. For this reason I will not under any circumstance come back. The doctor and staff were so welcoming and helpful. The eye exam was the most thorough exam I've ever had. The doctor explained so much about what was going on with my eyes. I did wonder if all the procedures were neseccary or if they were done for an upcharge. Didn't give 5 stars because I wasn't sure what I was paying for while purchasing my glasses and I wish they had been more mindful of my budget and stirred in that direction. read more

Doctor here has seen myself and my whole family. He did a very good job on me and my wife. We both had very standardized treatments that most people going to an eye doctor would have. He also assisted in evaluating my two youngest children. Both of them have a rare genetic disorder that is causing them to lose their vision. He was kind and gentle with them. He was also very caring and his delivery with me and my wife. After seeing several specialists after him we sought his help in getting some specialized low vision equipment for my kids. The doctor, his son and the whole staff we're very helpful and kind. I have recommended them too many people. I will continue to do so. read more

I cannot overstate the comfortable nature of the care provided by Looking Glass. Eyesight is the most precious of the senses, and Dr. Teles makes the worrisome part go away. I visited them very concerned about a serious eye injury, and by using an impressive array of the latest in diagnostic equipment, they determined that I had a less- serious and treatable condition. My wife and I visited Looking Glass today for our annual check up and to be fitted for glasses. We are newer to the area and took a chance; we were pleasantly surprised! Dr. Teles was thorough with his exam and explained every step, at times with visual aids. Without going into details, every test was ran to Investigate a possible issue in my right eye. I left the exam feeling like Dr Teles had answered all our questions. As for eye wear, the selection was extensive and offered something for every price range. The only negative from the visit was the wait time. We were in the office for a little over three hours. If you are going for an exam, dedicate at minimum 90 minutes. I will never return to this place, they do not explain charges and tried to charge me $499.00 for a contact lenses examine after already charging my Davis Vision insurance and my Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance. My contact lenses examine should have cost 25.00 and I should have been able to receive Davis vision contact lenses, instead he choose not to offer what my insurance provider offers so he can charge me $499.00 for the exam and that does not include contacts. I have notified both Davis Vision and my medical insurance as I believe this is fraudulent. I do not have my prescription for my eyes as a matter of fact I was not provided with anything. All I have is a receipt for $499.00, which I had Davis Vision call him in order for me to get a refund which I then had to call again for the refund, and they refunded that. Still I do not have a prescription nor contacts except the trial lenses which are not the correct prescription. Davis Vision called him again today and he stated that I did not say I wanted the Davis vision lenses, that is a lie I told the woman on the phone that I did and she stated she would call me when they come in. This place is a joke. I have read a few other reviews where he has not explained his charges. No wonder insurance is high when doctors double charge. read more

The eye therapist here is a liar. Dr. Finkle ligitimately lied to me about my daughters vision. She told me that my daughter needed to visit her every week to help my daughters lazy eye focus better. Not to mention I was also told that her vision never fully formed which was a lie. I took my daughter to a real childrens eye doctor and she laughed. Her vision is fine and her lazy eye can be helped simply by using an eye patch. Going here was a waste of my time and my money, considering I had to pay out of pocket for every therapy visit. Dr finkle is a quack and quick to scam you out of your money. read more

I was very unhappy with my experience and no one acknowledged me when I entered and my appointment was 3 pm. I arrived at 250 pm to complete my paper work and waited 15 minutes while a lady in front of me asked several question. While a lady do accounting looked at me three time and continued her work and while another guy was on his phone doing something. Got my paper work and completed very quick to sit in the waiting room complaining about a patient. Then got my tests and they had to redo. Then charged me and didn't even tell me and two 10 dollar copay. They commented how good was insurance was and still had tro pay 74 bucks and never had to pay before. I question the charges and she said people pay more. Wanted my medical card to put charges on that as well and they didn't. They are over pricing the customers and insurance, I am going to notify my insurance. Then I had to go back and they didn't know my curve and wrote a prescription different then what I have. The lady comes out from the back and said I asked you what your curve is? And do you want your prescription changed to 375. I said no and left. Not going back there again. read more
