Place is horrible. Their AI assistants will spam you non stop over and over about model numbers and confirming appointment. It got to the point I was asking the AI to please stop texting me. After asking a few times they started calling me over and over and over. The service man showed up on time and wasn't to friendly. He gave me a $800 estimate to fix a dryer. I asked if I could call him after work and give him an answer and was told "NO" he needed an answer right then or they would not apply my $140 diagnostic fee to my repair. It is now May 12 2024 and they have set up 3 appointments to come fix a "fuse" and did not show up for either of them. One of the worst experiences with a business I've ever had. They refuse to refund me for a service they never performed. If you call them for appliance service, you get a quote, and if you decide to proceed they charge you upfront for parts and repairs, even though the service may not be performed for a week or more. So I did this. In less than 24 hours I cancelled the repair. They STILL sent the parts to me directly even after I cancelled. I sent the parts back of course, but they still refuse to refund my credit card. When I disputed the charge with my card company, SHS disputed my dispute, and long story short...8 months later and I still haven't been refunded. Horrible, horrible company. read more

After three appointments over 10 days my dishwasher still doesn't work. You can't even an appointment when you tell me that they'll be there between 7am to 6 pm halt your whole day for them only to get there at 8:30 pm for 2 of the 3 appointments. Only for him to lie and say that he tested it. You can't test the dishwasher without having dirty dishes in it so just turning on and the lights coming on doesn't mean that the thing cleans dishes. read more

The technician was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the information I gave to the customer service representative was not relayed to him. I told them specifically the model and part that needed replacing. I was leaving for vacation in two days. He did not bring the part and was unable to send it to another address even tho I would be away when the part would be delivered. This was a waste of $100. Sears came out over 12 times to fix an ice maker. I find out months later that we were eligible for a new refrigerator. The price they gave us was not even close to what a new refrigerator would be. Icing on the cake: every refrigerator that would fit was NOT AVAILABLE for delivery in our area (live in the Baltimore/Washington DC area). The OVERPRICED refrigerator that was finally ordered (with an additional close to $1000 to pay) could not even be delivered when they said it would. I tried calling for 2 weeks to the delivery department and was told that delivery needed to be rescheduled--but oh wait!!!---their systems were being upgraded and I was told that all would be working to schedule a delivery that Friday; that Friday passed, then the next week it was always 'On Friday'. 3 weeks later I was being told the same thing. I am cancelling this order, and guess what???? I'm getting the same refrigerator from Home Depot for $800 less. The people that came out kept replacing the SAME parts on numerous visits. On top of that--they kept trying to sell the 'whole house warranty' on me. No thanks. If I could give a NEGATIVE NUMBER rating on Sears Home Services, I sure would. read more
