Other than a service window of 8-5 it was a good day. Our washer would not complete a spin cycle. The tech quickly identified the issue and will be back with the parts in a few days. Very professional and personable. read more

If i could give 0 stars I would because the professionalism of this company is atrocious, they dont show up and call after windowed time when customer has been waiting for 4 hours. I get a text the next day saying we are ready to service your request and there was not a coversation about a reschedule because no one was home!!! At this point Im say "WHAT ARE WE DOING!!!!" Then i see that in my AHS portal they show that the job was "COMPLETED"!!!!! WTF!!!! This is the 2nd time dealing with them and Im done!!!!! read more

Jeffery provides fantastic service. He discusses what he is doing and why. He is very knowledgeable in what he does.

Very friendly and worked fast. I hope he enjoyed the cookies. Artived promptly and done in less than an hour

Please think long and hard before signing up with this service. They are totally unresponsive. We waited all day for our repair man to come on a Friday. Never canceled until 7:00 PM then rescheduled for five days later on a Wednesday. In the meantime, my refrigerator is leaking all over my floor. Tried to call to talk to someone and got into the phone system. Impossible to navigate. We had to use seers in the past, but I believe their customer service has rapidly declined. We were going to sign up for their warranty, but are unwilling to go through what we had to go through each time we needed home repair. read more

I've been without a working fridge for weeks. One technician told me the repair was misdiagnosed by the previous Sears repair person. They canceled on me multiple times, the day of. Fridge was supposedly fixed yesterday, but today when I opened it, it's not cold again, after I bought more groceries. NEVER use them. read more

They called said they'd be there around 3 and would call if something were to change I waited and 5:00 not there so I contacted them he said there was a confusion and that I'm the last job for him that day and his boss had called him to cancel my appointment and they can't do it till the first week of November after I made sure I was home all day read more

Doug was fantastic. so kind and informative. he showed my husband a few tips about it the washer and how to prevent this from happening again. if we could give him 10 stars we would. thank you Doug!! read more

ZERO stars should be an option. Unreliable and unaccountable. Do Not bother with this service - they changed the appointment via text last minute with no explanation, to the next day, only to not call, show up or text - so they owe me two fees of $129.00 for missed appointments. Book them only if you want your time wasted and don't need to get your appliance fixed. read more

Zero stars if I could. Without my call or consent they rescheduled my Appt 15min after the confirmation text. I initially scheduled the Appt 4 days prior and they rescheduled me the day of arrival via text (see pic) for AFTER THE UPCOMING HOLIDAY-July 4th. And I can't get a person on the phone at the 870 number, I get a bot in the chat, and the 800 number for repairs will drop your call after the first ring! Scam!!! With a newborn, I don't have time for this kind of nonsense. Do not use this company! read more

The techs came to the job site unprepared - no replacement part, no equipment to remove the oven unit, and no knowledge of how to do the job. When asked to leave the tech got in my face and said he wouldn't go. The assistant walked him out. I will never use this service again! read more

THE WORST!!!! Sears used yo be a quality name but not anymore. Scheduled an appointment and the technician said he needed to order a part. The order wasn't place for a month. The return visit appointments were missed. Their call center to schedule, reschedule and complain is subcontracted to a Philippines call center so Sears doesn't have to deal with complaints or missed appointments read more

we scheduled an apptin early September and they just did not show up. it was then reschedule. the technician called on his way to ask us to explain what was wrong. once he arrived we explained circumstances again, he responded with " they don't give me history, so it is working now" we want you to see if you can diagnose the problem. he said there is nothing he could do, call Frigadire! frigadire had called seats at n the first place. not only did he not even LOOK at the appliance, he was rude on top of it!! read more

One of the most pleasant experiences I have had with Sears Service. I called about service on our dryer which was under a Sears service contract. A service technician was available the next day. John called when he was on his way. He was professional, complete, and courteous. A real pleasure to work with and a positive reflection of the company. I appreciate the prompt attention and repair of our appliance. read more

I know there are more important things than a broken dishwasher, but................... I have a Sears contract that I pay for $50.00 a month. It covers all my new appliances, all purchased on the same date. My top of the line Elite Kenmore dish washer has broken 5 times in the last year. In May they fixed it and it worked twice. I patiently waited for the next part to come. I had no dishwasher the whole month of June. In July they came with the part. The technician created a short and blew the part so it never got fixed. I had no dishwasher the month of July. They called us to tell us they had the part and would install on August 31. They never came or called. I had no dishwasher the month of August. When I called today, the automated voice said that the dishwasher was fixed on January 1, 1970. I did not even own a dishwasher in 1970. What good is a contract if they do not fix the appliance? This my first Yelp review, ever. Totally annoyed. read more

The technician arrived early in the morning which was good. The window of schedule time is too wide from 8 to 5. It should give the customer at least choose 2 to 4 hour window, not a whole day. Not every body can wait a whole day for 10 minutes service. The technician left a huge mess behind her. I got an email with the document attached saying I signed the document but I was never asked to sign anything. The signature was not mine. She did not provide the vent that was the cause of smoke and burning smell, she told me to buy it at home depot. I think with 125 dollars I spent, I should get it replaced or repaired. read more

One claim, 3 trip charges for the same problem. I had to pay $ 146.00 for every trip for the same issue. I went without a refrigerator from before Thanksgiving thru Jan. 3. You cannot speak to anyone, its all machine customer service, good luck finding a number that gets you to a person, therefore your forced to pay a trip charge every time you call to tell them the repair they did not fix the problem. They tell you they have to order the part, it gets shipped to your address and then you have to wait for a repair person. When I called to cancel my warranty I was told there was a $186.00 cancellation fee. Here is a phone number I found that gets you to a person; good luck understanding them. 1 (855) 256-2467 read more

where to start, when I called to set up appointment I had stated that my dishwasher would not start and that I had gone on line and found out that my model of dishwasher the control panels go out quite often! (wish I would have had that info sooner). The technician never called me until he was on my very short street. He arrived within 5 minutes of his call, never asking about my dishwasher. After the met and greet he . removed dishwasher from under counter and took off kick plate and looked at his phone. Then he said did I want to buy protection plan for $364.95, I had said not today figuring this visit might cost a pretty penny. Immediately after that he stated he couldn't fix it and handed me a bill for $139. He left, and my husband went on line and ordered the bottom control panel (we decided to replace that one first to see if it fixed the problem);for $122.00. We got down on the floor and replaced the panel. MY Dishwasher WORKS GREAT. By the way my husband is 79 years old and I am 68 years old. We did the labor and now I'm getting the run around about the refund. What kind of company is this? Sooooo sad. I contacted sears on Nov 20th about this issue and was told it would go before some board and I should hear back about their decision within 7-10 days today is December 5th nothping yet. SURPRISE? I'm not. read more

What is going on with Sears Home Repair?! I placed an online appointment for a home repair, not under warranty. I've been the hamster wheel since and not a single human being has contacted me! Only an automated response with providing incorrect information. This is a horrible company to seek assistance from, unless you are a customer with a Warranty in place through Sears. ugh, look for reliable company, Sears is not the one. A waste of time! read more

The only good thing was the technician was on time. But he did not have very good Customer service was very snippy. I've never had an issue with Sears technician service however their price gouging is insane. I was told my last service call that I needed a control board. The cost of the part online was a little over $1000. Sears wanted to charge $2000 just for the part. That is ridiculous. Another incident over the summer I needed a capacitor for my outside ac unit. The part online was $20 or less. Sears wanted to charge me almost $550 for the part and service. I had someone else come a replace for way cheaper for a replacement that took 20 mins. Sears gotta do better for you be out of business. read more

Anival's customer service was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! He stayed in constant communication from beginning of the day, kept us updated on his ETA, guided us through major obstacles dealing with Home Warranty company and Sears, and was fast, thorough, and kind during the whole repair. Never ever ever again. Horrid communication, I'm actually relieved the technician did not work on our appliance. But what a nightmare just getting an appointment. I have a great warranty plan and am getting appliances fixed. The technician's have been great. The issue I have is with the operation of the company. There is nothing worse than having to search for a phone number to get in touch with customer service. They have some serious issues that could probably be solved with software. Their operation is seriously lacking organization. Who run's this place? Look at all the bad reviews! Fix your issues!!! read more

Ransford provided excellent service. He had our washer fixed in no time. He was very knowledgeable and polite.

The 1 star reviewers got it right! The technician who showed up did not diagnose anything. Turned on the washer, pressed the start button a few times and then let me know it was going to be $350+ to fix. $288 for labor and 88$ for the part. I went on Amazon, bought the part for $13.95 and fixed it myself, Thank you YouTube, in under 15 minutes. If they are saying that the labor was going to be $288 to fix, and I was able to fix this issue in under 15 minutes, I dont ever want a Sears tech in my home again because either they are wildly incompetent or practicing the art of highway robbery. This was a mistake to have a complete stranger in my house to tell me what I already knew... read more

I was on the phone for over 30 minutes just trying to make an appointment. Gave them all part and serial numbers for my oven. I had already diagnosed the problem (by error code) and advised I needed the front digital panel. They advised that the technician would be advised of the problem and would have the part with them at the time of repair. They never called to advise what time they would be here, finally after 10:00AM they put on their website the approximate time (which changed 4 times starting at 2:15PM) and they were still here late (4:55PM). The technician wanted to charge me $120 for taking a picture of the serial number and then could not get the part and said it could not be replaced or repaired. I had given them all the numbers over the phone. I am disgusted with Sears Home Services and will make sure I never have to use them again. No appliance is worth this hassle or waste of a whole day. read more

No star review if I could. Sears is not a reputable company anymore not taking any accountability for the incompetence of their employees and services. They are scammers, hiring inexperienced techs who have no idea what they are doing, and when said we would be refunded we kept getting the run-around and talking to numerous people saying to wait for the refund within 48-72 hours. I did this at least 5 times and now just reported them to the BBB. Hopefully, they will report them and hold them accountable. It's unfortunate we have to write these reviews. BUT DO NOT USE OR TRUST SEARS for repairs. They are highly incompetent. read more

To be clear, this review is NOT about the gentleman who came to my home. He was as frustrated as I was. No, this review is about the customer service I received leading up to and after this visit. I originally called to report my problem on 7/12. Because my refrigerator was still under warranty, the earliest appointment they could give me was 6/26. Though, when I went online, I did see that there was an appointment for 6/23, so I rescheduled for that day. I received numerous emails and texts confirming that date. However, mid-afternoon on the 23rd I get a text telling me that the technician could not reach me so my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I have no record on my cell phone that the technician ever tried to reach me at any point that day. I do not have a home phone, so my cell was the only way they could reach me. When I call to reschedule the appointment, I was told the earliest someone could come to my house is 8/6. When I expressed dismay, the woman on the phone told me that she would put me on the "emergency services" list and that someone would reach out to me within 24-72 hours to let me know when a technician could come to my house. Needless to say, I never heard from anyone. When I called again, another woman told me that there was no emergency service and what that meant is that someone would call IF there was a cancelation. While I still had my 8/6 appointment, because they again assured me that that was the earliest someone could get to me, I went back online to see if there had been any cancellations. I was surprised to find that there was indeed an appointment available THAT VERY DAY. Unbeknownst to me, I had gotten the scheduling for equipment that was NOT under warranty. In other words, if I were a paying client I could get service ASAP, but since I was still under warranty and NOT paying, I had to wait. The gentleman who came to my door could not have been nicer. Unfortunately, he was also not certified to deal with my type of refrigerator. He patiently listened as I argued with yet another woman on the phone when she tried to explain that the bottom freezer was NOT under warranty but the top refrigerator was and that since this was a call for the freezer, I had to pay. It took her about ten minutes to finally get the fact that there was only ONE appliance. And while I did not end up paying the fee, I did learn that my warranty expired on 7/25. It is very suspicious to me that when I initially call, the earliest appointment I can get is 7/26. When I go online and reschedule for 7/23, the technician mysteriously cannot reach me and cancels my appointment. I will be OUTRAGED if when the technician comes tomorrow, they tell me that I am out of warranty and that I have to pay for the call and for the parts. But, you know that is what is going to happen. And the more people I have told about this, the more stories like this I have heard. read more

Sears was supposed to come to my house to repair my refrigerator. They have canceled day of (without notice) and rescheduled 4 times now. Worst customer service ever! Bought a washer with warranty, stopped working after 3 years and have been trying to talk to someone, anyone re: having a technician come out.
