DO NOT, DO NOT, hire this company for service of your refrigerator. I can't speak to other appliances, but my experience with their techs was awful. Also, their customer service is horrible and is ALL offshore folks and you get different answers to the same questions/concerns. I had a technician (Joel) come out and diagnose repair. He stated I needed part "X" and that I also had to order part "Y" because they go hand in hand. The part came from Amazon. Odd I thought but oh well. He scheduled a time to come back out to install the parts and charged me for the parts & the labor. A week later, parts were delivered, a new tech (Eric M) came out to install them. After 30 mins, He stated that Part "X" was not the correct one and also said Part "Y" wasn't even needed because it was included in Part "X". The tech proceeded to tell me that he would order the right part & if I called him direct, he would charge me $100 to put the part in. How shady is that?? I told him I already paid Sears for the part and the install and kicked him out. I then called Countywide (I called them originally but they were so busy, and I needed a fridge, that I stupidly called Sears) Countywide came out & installed Part "X" in 10 minutes & charged me 1/3 of what sears charged me. 1/3!!!!! I'm totally disgusted and trying to get my money back from Sears for the labor and Part "Y" that was never used. Hence my comment about their terrible communication and customer service. I have no confidence as of yet that they will refund me. Better Business Bureau will be called once I'm done with this. read more

The two technicians to service my washer were knowledgeable and friendly. A new piece was delivered and replaced. They came in the afternoon which was excellent because I was able to get home before they arrived. I've been using Sears Home Services for my washer & dryer for over 10 years. I will continue to use Sears services. I miss talking to a real-life person besides AI. It's just something to get used too. Keep up the great work read more

we ordered a part that apparently didn't fix the microwave. Anyway the technician did not even hang the microwave back up under the counter and just left it there on the counter and left .What kind of service is this!!!! After calling several times, I was promised that a supervisor would call me. I have not received any communication regarding the no show on 7/25. I can't begin to tell you the frustration we have with Sears Home Services. The technician assigned to investigate our problem with the dishwasher visited us Four (4) times between September 29th and November 25th. The last two visits he reiterated that the dishwasher could not be repaired and Sears Home Services would follow with a replacement machine. To date I have not received any confirmed correspondence to start the replacement process. We have called Sears Home Services a total of Five (5) times and two case numbers later, this issue was again escalated to a manager. If we don't see a confirmation by Tuesday, January 9th we will be forced to look into some form of legal action. read more

The technician had a bad attitude from the start and left with a negative attitude. It took almost two months to have the refrigerator repaired (May 18, 2024 to July 11, 2024). Jon was excellent, all your techs are. The problem is with the scheduling department. They are terrible. You sent text messages to move the service date up and then didn't put it in the techs schedule and no one showed up, happened numerous times. There is no live person to talk to at any time to rectify the problem, which makes it worse. It is a good thing I have the warranty and it costs nothing or I would never use Sears repair, the scheduling department is the worse I have ever dealt with. They have one agenda--RIP YOU OFF!! The refrigerator repair man said it would cost $300 to fix the ice maker. When my wife agreed, he took apart the freezer, sat in his truck for a half hour before he came back and said--it was actually $500... When it was all done (after several long trips to the truck), he said it was still making noise because of the "blower" and that was separate from the ice maker ... My wife just lived through her 2nd kidney transplant, but after this guy took advantage--we might need a third heart surgery... Way to kick people when they're down Sears!! read more

Made appointment online on Friday for Monday, a minor miracle by itself! Very good communication by text as for the arrival of the repairman. The latter even got here early! Another miracle! After diagnosing my problem, bad control board, I was quoted a repair estimate that was close enough to the price of a new dishwasher. I turned down the repair and paid the $99.00 for the diagnosis. Upon further research (Google, YouTube), I found out that I could do the repairs myself and the part price, including tax and shipping, would amount to less than a third of the estimate I was quoted! Lesson learned, research, research, research, but if needed, I would call this service again because they are professional, punctual and knowledgeable, but at a price. read more

I made an appointment two weeks ago via the online scheduling form, which worked great. When the technician arrived however at the time and date scheduled, he was very rude and sexist towards my wife; talked down to her and was dismissive of her description of the issues we were having. I immediately complained to a service rep, who said the technician was reported and that they would reschedule and assign a different service tech. At that point my wife was so upset that I told them never mind, and to cancel the appointment. And then today, even though we had canceled (twice), a service technician shows up! AND IT'S THE SAME SEXIST TECHNICIAN. Thankfully I was home instead of my wife, so she didn't have to deal with him again. I cannot ever, ever recommend Sears Appliance/Home Repair. So many tech visits to get nothing done. First visit they diagnosed the problem and order the part. One month later still no part and I ask if I can find the part will they finally show up. I find it online and get it within 48 hours! Why couldn't they do that? Second textch shows up and says that they can install it. What kind of tech is that? Schedule a third visit after waiting another week because the computers were down. Then the third visit gets pushed back another month. Finally I am no longer going to be a customer. read more

I called on Friday afternoon to make an appointment to service my 15 year old refrigerator. They made the appointment for Monday. Serviceman arrived on time, determined the problem, ordered parts and made another appointment for 2 weeks later. He did stated when the parts arrive call the service number. Parts arrived on Thursday. I called them up and they rescheduled the appointment for the next day. Serviceman arrived about an hour after he stated but installed the parts. read more
