I guess two other repair shops went out of business and he was getting all that business ( he has been in business 40 years). He has been working 7 days a week to try to keep up and I could tell he was honest and trying his best. He got it done at 4 weeks and it's working beautifully and the price was reasonable (150.00) considering the machine is 21 years old. Some are waiting for pickup, some are refurbs that for sale. They also sell parts for older vacuums you probably can't find anywhere else anymore. The owner told me right off his workload was maxed out and it could be a few weeks but he felt confident he'd be able to repair the unit based on my description of the problem. I figured without anything to lose it was worth a shot! Only two weeks later I got a call it was ready for pickup! Now it works like new again! Best of all the price was only about $25 bucks which made me feel like I was robbing the guy. I wish he would have accepted a tip. If you have any kind of vacuum that has trouble give this place a chance! I think they are the only place still doing this kind of work within 100 miles. No checks, its cash or credit only and the building looks pretty nondescript from the outside but the service is first rate and the owner is a vacuum God!
