Hello. I am writing this review based on my nightmare experience with this shop. I brought my…read morevehicle in to have an alignment and suspension checked out. It was on Friday November 30. They diagnosed my vehicle and told me that they would lock my vehicle in the bay and start the work on Monday. I found out that they left my vehicle in the back of the building over the weekend. Not secured or locked. Cameras don't work on property. My vehicle was left outside all weekend. When I arrived the manager was very defensive. I paid the $60 to get my vehicle. Was very upset about being lied to about my vehicle being locked in the shop. After getting my keys and leaving. After driving not even a mile down the road. My vehicle was making a loud clanking noise from the rear. I immediately turned around and headed back to the shop. They refused to look at my vehicle after I paid for service. To see what is wrong. I called the Police to make a report of the incident.. After taking my vehicle to a certified shop afterwards. I found out that not only did I not need $2,800 like Full Line Autocare was attempting to charge me. That my brake caliper was hanging from the bottom inside the rear rim. There were no bolts at all .. This could of caused a hug problem had I not addressed this immediately. They took parts off, and never put the parts back on my vehicle.. I would NEVER TRUST A SHOP WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR INTEGRITY.. I encourage to really seek other options before visiting this shop. I was heading on a trip. Who knows what could of happen had I got on the freeway..

My dad was an excellent mechanic by hobby, and my husband is equally versed, but there are some things better, or less time-consuming, left to the pros, as was our latest urgent issue with our van. We were referred to CB by another trusted mechanic because the scope of working needing to be done was larger scale and he knew it could be done faster and likely less expensive at Lilburn Auto. Good mechanics typically know good mechanics and know bad referrals could reflect back on them as well as good referrals. We remain grateful for the referral. In the two instances we've gone to CB, he's been responsive, kept us informed, been honest about options, potential outcomes, and guided us to best solution for the situations at hand. It's clear they care about the work they do and appreciate their customers. Most recently, we had an issue on the eve of a holiday. We called, explained the noises and what we thought were going on. They fit us in, had it diagnosed and gave us an estimate and said they could get it fixed by end of day, which they did. They gave us a heads-up of things to be on the lookout for (some we were already aware of), but no pressure or scare tactics. The bill for parts and labor was in line with our expectations. In a world where so many are out to make a quick buck and not care about customer service, quality, integrity and kindness, CB /Lilburn Auto are a refreshing exception to the rule.

I brought my car here for an oil change and tire rotation because the Volkswagen dealership…read morecouldn't fit me in, and I thought I was getting a good deal. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a major disappointment. The same day as the service, I was driving on the highway when my undercarriage cover came loose and flew off. I had to pull over and retrieve it. When I called, instead of taking responsibility, I was given excuses that it happened because the cover had supposedly been removed too many times. I've taken my car to the Volkswagen dealership since purchasing it in 2021 and have never experienced anything like this after a service. Four days later, I checked my brake pads and tire tread and discovered nails in my tires. The mechanic never mentioned them or documented them on the paperwork--not even as a safety warning. I also noticed that the lug bolts on two of my wheels were stripped. When I called again on Monday, the lead mechanic told me it wasn't their fault and blamed whoever had previously removed the wheels even though they had just performed my tire rotation. Once again, there was no accountability. I wouldn't have had an issue if the work had been completed carefully and the business had taken responsibility for its mistakes. I came here because I wanted to support a local business, but based on my experience, I strongly recommend that customers double-check all work before leaving. Update *** I should have read the reviews before bringing my vehicle to this location. Chris, it amazes me that you continue claiming there are "a lot of gray areas" when multiple reviews describe concerns similar to mine. You refuse to take accountability. Whether I inspected my vehicle three days later, five days later, or immediately after the service does not change the quality of the work performed. Customers should not have to inspect a professional mechanic's work before leaving to ensure nothing was damaged or improperly reinstalled. My regular mechanic at the Volkswagen dealership confirmed that the wheel bolts were stripped. Instead of taking responsibility, you blamed the dealership--even though other reviews claim your location caused similar damage to their vehicles. The fact that you believe I should have checked your work immediately shows why your service cannot be trusted. A problem does not become someone else's fault simply because the customer discovered it several days later

I didn't ask for the manager. And many times he'd try to talk OVER me on the phone , literally felt like I CANNOT be nice, I was forced to raise my voice in order to get words in. And in the end , he tried to put words in my mouth on the phone call, PLUS extra details on "notes" that wasn't on my copy of the receipt. He said the front desk wrote the services were non refundable but that was never stated on my copy. Just . Really felt like I'm having a super typical experience of being Asian American trying to get even a partial refund for bad service in murica. Never going to this shop ever again Taking all my business to Asian shops instead (I never been treated this rudely ever by Asian shops. The other ones show me in person everything they're doing without charging, this shop manager says getting to see what they're doing is a diagnosis which they charge) Also trying to get a hold of the number is...compared to my homeland, A LAG. The number he replied to me under this thread is the shop's number, not an office number. Which I called during midday, and was promised to get a callback. 4:30pm, still no answer so I had to follow up and gently apply pressure telling the front desk guy "if whoever replied to me, manager or boss, wants to get this situated, I advise to get them to call me back, or give me their direct line so we can speed up the process." I was given some "oh I don't do this"/"can't give the number out" so I had to tell him "ok well if you want this Google review situated faster, get him to call me back". If you want to have a valid crashout, purchase their services (aka get ripped off) and speak to them on the phone. 100% guaranteed crashout resource. The good: gave me some advice (only 5% helpful), got replacement radiator ordered and changed day of for $80 part, I brought my own new engine coils & spark plugs in to get the tuneup The bad: labor fees, got jipped and overcharged Car was overheating and misfiring. The cause is the fuel line. I have a 2004 Honda Civic. The only cause for misfires is transmission or fuel line and my transmission is newly rebuilt. So it's obviously the fuel line. I brought it here because I don't have shop tools yet I literally told them to go look at the fuel line and tell me what parts, I'll supply the parts. I came in already knowing that and told them. But they convinced me it's a blown head gasket + needs a $4k engine rebuild + melted radiator and I decided to just put blue devil in & change the radiator And they said they'll change the oil, I told them I brought my own new oil, it's in the back. All they did is drain the oil down to barely living. My car wa DYING off of 0.0% oil. I went backseat to check my oil quarts; UNOPENED. I ended up changing my own oil the following Friday. Was also slightly made uncomfortable by the little small talk....as an Asian person, I've gotten the "my wife is Asian blah blah blah" by a non-poc exchange. This was another day. Please sir, I'm just trying to get my car fixed, and it's NOT an engine rebuild problem. Got jipped $400-500. All I want is a half refund , please sir.

Learned today that the horrible shake/vibration I have been experiencing since the alignment/tire install was all because they don't know how to properly balance a tire. Even worse, the tires had been originally mounted white walls out - when I reminded them that I had requested black walls out they fixed it, but clearly never re-balanced the tires - I am guessing on purpose because they had to re-do the job. Discount was amazing as usual, balanced and rotated for free and the shake/vibration is completely gone!! Take your business elsewhere.

And about 30 minutes later, the woman calls me back downstairs to show me a receipt claiming that I need to have $300 of extra work done to my car prior to the alignment. I just moved here from Cali and I don't even have $300 in my name. She then claimed that if I were to have the work done elsewhere for a cheaper price, they would not acknowledge my Groupon which I have already redeemed, and would have to purchase ANOTHER Groupon... to get the services I already paid for. I purchased a Groupon for a four wheel alignment, and the front desk woman said it was for my diagnosis. That is a bunch of bull shit. Groupon even reviewed this and gave me a refund, and the customer support guy personally told me that he would be reporting this to his supervisor, without me asking him to do so. And the thing that really pissed me off, is the fake woman at the front telling me in a high pitched voice "Have a nice day" while I'm leaving, after trying to scam me. Like nahhhh fuck outta here
