I have given this location a chance multiple times by taking my car in for a simple oil change. Oil changes come with a "free inspection," which is code for 'see what we can scam you with.' Every time I've gotten my oil changed here, it takes an hour and a half LONGER than they tell me, then they come out with a big stack of papers telling me I need to pay them $1,300 for a full brake job, when I had my brakes done by someone else four months ago. I'm sick of them lying, I will be finding somewhere else to do my oil changes! read more

I really wish I can give them a zero.....Whatever you do not come to this Firestone I don't know if they have a quoted to meet.I don't know if they need money, but they are a bunch of thiefs and liars .You take your car in there for 1 thing, and then the low and behold, you need something else done, because theyre going to create another problem. . I had a tiny little nail in my tire, and it should've been something that could have been plugged. But but of course, for the third time that I've had a nail they told me they can't plug it that I need to get a new tire. So I ended up buying a new tire because they lie and say they can't plug it. Okay, that's fine, so after I leave there, the next day I start having problems with my brakes. It sounds like I'm landing a plane. And now they tell me that after seven months after having my rotors and my brakes replaced with them in June, I need new rotors and new brakes pads, not just brake pads, I need new rotors and brake pads.I literally went 90k miles before my 1st break change and now it's been 40k and I all of a sudden forgot how to break. At least someone is forewarning you.... Do not go to this FIRESTONE... YOU'LL SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF MONEY. read more

Been bringing my Chevy Aveo here for 6 years, and I am very pleased. They have a comfortable waiting room, but they are also just in the southern ring around TownCenterMall, so I sometimes walk over to the mall to kill some time. I've used Firestone before back in NC and didn't know what to expect when I moved. From the time I called this location prior to them closing to ask for pricing on some tires, to the time I dropped off my vehicle, I felt relieved. Even when I dropped off my car, the technician informed me that he was down a guy due to him falling ill, but made it a priority to get my car tires installed that day. I told him that he could keep it an extra day if need be because of the situation, but still put forth the effort to finish my car before he left. You dont need to go to Auto Part to change oil or to fix your car because they treated you very bad and come up with some unreasonable things to charge you more. With this guy ,Robert, he will give you an honesty advices. I got my car in , to see what is going on with the engine lights, found out it was my gas cap , he was the one who told me the only reason which was happened to it was my gas cap, other places they told me it was about the engine bla bla bla . In this day and age it is hard to find people you trust when you take your car in to get it fixed. I have been very pleased with the service I have received here. I initially went in there to purchase a tire last year in June as I had a flat tire from a nail. Harold was very professional and the price was very reasonable. I had been getting indications that there was low pressure in one of the tires. I had been just putting air in as it would go way. But then the indication light kept on coming back on so I finally decided to take it in. John Smillie the service manager was very professional, courteous, and sincere. It turned out that I had a nail debris and they fixed it for me. All the staff are fantastic here and I would always go back when I need my tires fixed!!! read more

SInce i moved to Kennesaw, i have been taking my car to them for stuff from oil changes to brake drums and pads replacements to axle replacements and whatever else is fallng apart in my car. My mom has a firestone card so as a broke college student, i take advantage of it. Most days, i like em and some days, i want to scream and cry and pull my hair out. Now they have replaced my brake pads 3 times now and the drums twice for one reason or the other. The repairs after the 1st ones were free since they did the job because it was under warranty or whatever. The lady is nice(asst. manager i think), the manager is alright most of the time and the technician, Jean is my favorite. He has a thick Haitian french accent so i barely understand him but he knows my car well. I always storm off when they give me a quote but eventually slink back for them to fix my baby. Im giving them 3 stars because i think they can do better! read more

Fabulous service all around. I normally go to the location on Powder Springs Rd but this one is just around the corner from my office so I decided to give it a try. On a Monday I needed an oil change and didn't have much time over my lunch break. I called at 12 pm and Crystal made a 12:45 appointment for me and I was on my way by 1:15. Great prompt service I went back on Wednesday to buy tires that I was going to put off for another month but because my service was so great on Monday I thought what the hell. Rachel the service manager had the courier bring my tires from another location I was in and out in less than 2 hours...and did I mention that the deal on the tires was sweet! Last year I went to a Firestone in Cali (where I am originally from) and I had a new set of tires put on my car along with an oil change and a new battery. Then I made my cross country move out here to Georgia. Since I have been here, I have been coming to this particular location for 1 reason...there is a staff member by the name of "John" and each time I deal with him he makes my visit so pleasant. He is very friendly and upbeat with a good attitude. He takes the time to explain everything to me and makes me feel very comfortable. I have dealt with other staff members here and although they are nice, by far I would rather deal with John every time. I come here quite often because I do a lot of driving so I always need some type of work done and although other places offer cheaper prices, I would rather spend a little more and come here because of the quality work and the amazing service John provides. Needless to say, I will be coming here for all of my car needs. read more

I booked an appointment online it was approved I went into the store today 11:33 am appointment at 12:00pm I entered and right away said Hi I have and appointment today at noon barley got out noon when I was cut off by the only person at the front desk saying well it wasn't approved. I said I got an email saying my appointment was approved and he kept repeating it wasn't approved louder and louder. While iam with my young child I had to tell him to claim down. I would never recommend this store for any auto repairs. Very rude and unprofessional. Don't send out confirmation emails if you are so busy. read more

John who seems to be the manager is amazing, he wants to save you money and give you the best product for your dollar. I'm clearly very pregnant and all I needed was air filled in ONE tire cuz the sensor gauge is a little chipped so it's difficult for me to fill it properly without letting air out. I've gone to Pep Boys 2-3x with this issue in the past and they happy fill my air, no questions asked. But Firestone told me they're not able to do it cuz there's no way of telling what the pressure. How can pep boys do it and they can't? Liars. I am never going there for any services and telling my husband not to either. read more

The other day I went in to get an oil change and they told me its best to make an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait long..ok thats understandable, so I made an appt at 7:30am...I get there "on time" at 7:30 and the SAME guy that told me to make the appt tells me it would be another hour before they can even look at my car!!! I walked out and went to Castrol premium express lube in Woodstock off of 92 with no appt and they took care of me quickly, I was in and out. I have been going to Castrol express for years and have always been happy with them..the only reason I went to firestone was because I moved and they were closer to me..never again..worth me driving back to Woodstock to get excellent customer service and prompt attention. read more

My fiancee and I both have older cars so they need a little love. after about 4 places we finally decided to go to Firestone, open weekends, fast service, if they have to fix it twice its on them. I have been going to this location for a long time. Maybe since 1987 when I moved here. They have had their ups and downs but lately very down. In changing light bulbs and air filters they broke things. I've had to repair the light bezel myself and it's too expensive to replace the air filter canister they broke. They generally do good work but lately they nickel and dime everything and try to tack on extras. I just don't trust this location any more. I have always bought Firestone tires and gotten the lifetime balance and alignment. The location was handy to get those things done and an oil change at the same time. Going to try another Firestone location next time. Thirty year customer moving on. read more

The staff was courtesy and provide extraordinary customer service. I had to get a tire replace over the Xmas Holiday. I called Sat. the day after Xmas and explained my situation. They order me a tire that was delivery the following Mon. I was called when tire arrive and only had to pay the prorated rate since I purchase the road hazard protect which by the way is well worth it. Also a great staff. read more

I am from Canada. I was in Atlanta with my cousins for Midtown Music Festival. On the way home just outside Atlanta the breaks failed. The only place open was the Firestone. I brought the car in and they looked at it for me. The job was rather large as the brakes were quite messed up. They did their absolute best to help me. It has taken a couple days to fix up but they have been great the whole way through. Robin and Kristy, the two service managers, have been incredible. Bruce, the mechanic, has also been working very hard this whole time, I'm pretty sure he's had to pull overtime for me. They stayed open late for me and Kristy even drove me to my motel when they discovered it wouldn't actually be done the first night! The job has ended up being quite expensive, but they have made the process easy for me. Thanks again! read more

Took my 2011 Honda CR-V in for brakes because the quote was half the price of the Honda dealership. After about an hour the Firestone Manager tells me that the front brakes also needed new rotors at $110 each, for a total of $400 just for the front brakes. I knew it wasn't true because the rotors had only been turned once before at a Honda dealership and they weren't even grinding yet. I was told it wasn't so much they were gouged but that the last time the rotors were turned they took off to much. I told him no and canceled the brake service. Took my CR-V to the Honda dealership the next day and was told that I didn't even need brakes at that time and the pads were at 4mm and I should easily get another 5,000 - 10,000 miles on them. I had all 4 replaced anyway so I didn't wear them close to the rotors for a total cost of $400 front and bake, and using genuine Honda parts. Had another bad experience with Firestone in Lawrenceville. Bought a new set of tires for a 2013 RAM 1500. I was told I also needed an alignment and of course the lifetime service for $179 was recommended. The day before I got the tires I had the front end alignment done at a RAM dealership. As a precaution I took it back to the RAM dealership. They said the Firestone tech was either stupid or they were intentionally trying to rip me off. read more

Would Not go back. When I called to make my appointment I told the woman that answered the phone that I had just had my car to the Mazda dealer & I needed front brake pads. My appointment was on a Sunday morning - I was the first one to walk into an empty waiting room. It took just shy of 2 hours to get pads replaced when it should take half that time. They didn't even order the replacement parts until AFTER I was there over an hour even though they had my vehicle information and I had told them I needed to have the work done. Instead they put me down for a "Brake Inspection". To make matters worse, instead of asking me if I wanted a full vehicle inspection they just did it. While I sat waiting in the waiting area. Had they have asked me I could have told them I had just had one done a week ago at the Mazda dealership. Instead my time was wasted on my day off while I was forced to sit & wait. Why did they not order the pads ahead of time so they would have them ready? I'm sure the work was done well but this was a negative experience for me. I recently transacted some business with this repair shop. I found the manager to be detached, unfriendly, and to put it bluntly a real snob. She would not make eye contact with me nor address me by name even though she knew it. Made me feel unwelcome and unappreciated. While this has little to do with the quality of their auto repairs I believe that the Firestone Company could use a more personable individual to make a manager.
