I was going back home from visiting GA. There was an accident on 85. The police moved everyone over to the left. There was a big thing on the road. Cars hit it, my car included. It caused both tires to go out on the drivers side. I went to the nearest gas station to put air in the tire. As I put air in one tire, the other went down and this went on until I googled up the nearest tire repair. It was approximately 2:30 in the morning. Midtown tire was the closest place but it was closed. I was able to bring my car to the back of the building and wait until they open. The police came back there to check on me (per my family's request) It was safe. By the time it opened my tires were at 0. When I entered I was immediately greeted with, "Hello, ma'am, how may we help you?" OMG! Who gives such GREAT GREETINGS anymore? They had me at "Hello, ma'am!" I told them my situation and they immediately took charge of the situation. They didn't argue, didn't try to ask FRUSTRATING questions, didn't get all "noisy and ask, "what are you doing here" or "what brought you this way" No, in the middle of my drama, they came to the rescue. While I was waiting, I noticed that the area was different then most places. It was very clean and pleasant. There were executive chairs to sit in. The bathroom was very clean. The staff was extremely pleasant. When they finished Kenny Stephens (the store manager) explained to me the extent of the damage. There were HUGE nails in my BRAND NEW TIRES! He was about to charge me when I showed him about the coupon that I saw online. Although one of the staff disputed vehemently, Kenny HONORED the request that I showed him online. He TRULY PUT THE "GOOD" in Good Friday! Thank you JESUS! I told him that I was putting him in YELP. Yelp is very reputable and I use it often to determine if I want to do business with someone. If you are the same way, please be assured that this is the BEST place to do business!!!!! read more
