We recently needed troubleshooting for our home theater system and my husband made numerous attempts to reach someone at Empire for assistance. Calls were not returned and when he did manage to speak with someone about a service appointment, all he could get was "maybe we can stop by on Friday". Not exactly what we expected given the money we initially spent. Needless to say, no one showed up on Friday. We ended up finding another company that not only returned our calls, they sent a tech out a few days later who quickly resolved our issue. Then he went through our system and pointed out some optimizations that, honestly, should have been made during the installation. When you invest in Control4, any updates/changes have to be made through a dealer, so it's extra annoying when the dealer you purchased through no longer wants your business. We look forward to working with our NEW dealer to install additional home automation and home theater components.

George is very personable and was very responsive at first. However, when it was time to install, there were delays and he/his co-worker left messes behind. This was aggravating but I tolerated it as I needed to get everything up and running. A few months after installation, I had an issue with my TV and I learned that the TV that I purchased through Grant Elite Installations was not what I received. I then examined all my equipment and learned that most of it was not what I had ordered and WAS OF LESSER QUALITY!! I contacted Mr. Grant and he said he would make it right saying it was a distributer problem. I emailed again a few weeks later and he again stated it was the distributors fault. He still didn't refund the difference. I filed in small claims and won a judgement of $2203.95 plus costs and interest. See photos. I urge everyone that left a 5 star review to look at your product - since he did it to me, he probably did it to you!

They were very professional, made sure to work with me on the exact options on the TV mount and how it would be mounted (ie - could they hit a stud and get dead center on the wall). I noticed that they also tested the mount to make sure how secure it was prior to adding the TV (even though it was a fairly small 43 inch TV). Also very polite and made sure to vacuum up the small amount of dust from drilling into the wall. I will definitely use them again.

They were nice, and did show up and install the audio and projector after a 3 week delay. Then they delayed the screen by over a month with excuses after excuse. I came across DEFINE and they installed the screen, corrected the improper install of the projector, tuned the audio system to the correct settings(set the sub to correct setting) and were unbelievably good at showing me how to use my system. The best part of the whole process was to learn how much money I saved by using them. I should have started with them. I would have saved over $1500 for the same system. Samsung has made its new TVs extremely challenging for your average joe to get its new sets up and working without help--and I use to sell advance computer systems, so I thought could do it----NOT!Lexx Audio & Video did a great job getting the heavy base on and connecting the other boxes--that the instructions do a very poor job of explaining. The real problem was the awful mandatory App set up and the unforgivable way the colors and contracts came with the tv when we turned it on. The last two items took over 90 minutes to set up. Again, impossible without Less Audio & Video assistance. The price for the service and assistance was more than fair and Randy is great to talk to. Just be sure you do as much as possible to the App and TV settings vs Randy, so you know how to make changes. Also Lexx Audio & Video were very responsive to my quote and texts. I'll use them again if I ever get another tv for the house.
