If your looking for some fried seafood that's seasoned to perfection with a nice size and sides to compliment it. Here's your place. Don't hesitate or think otherwise. The fried shrimp is a nice size and not to mention the size on the fried lobster is almost bigger then the Togo plate. Seasoned potatoes and fried broccoli with the boiled eggs is highly recommended. read more

Unfortunately this review is not for the food it's for the rude service. I stopped in this place today for lunch at 11:45 and I was told they shouldn't have let me in the door and that they were closed. But the hours posted says they open at 11. Her rude response was "I don't have anyone to cook the food and they should have never let you in " she never apologized. I understand things happen. Employees call out sick. Life happens but I would expect some kind of courtesy. At the least an apology and explain that they would open later in the day. She practically kicked me out the joint. It doesn't matter cause I will NOT be back. This place will not be open long with that kind of service. Some people aren't meant to be in customer service roles. read more

I just want to say the that the customer service is impeccable within this business. I was only delivering an order through doordash but I witnessed and experienced too tier interaction. Greeted as soon as I got in the door with a smile , informed about my order taking a slight but longer but I was able to observe how they interacted with all customers. A nice convo and a smile as well as letting them know about their order. The young woman at the counter made sure to ask a customer if they needed any additional sauces and offered them extra. Im excited to comeback and try the food for myself just off of this experience as well as the delicious smells of the foods they were cooking read more

So my coworker is always talking about Seafood Cafe & how great it is blah blah. Well I finally decided to try it & man let me tell you, IM GLAD I DID! Its a small takeout spot right off the main highway; no dine- in, but delivery available. After perusing the menu I settled on fried shrimp & grits with a garlic egg on the side. The shrimp were the standout item in the whole meal for sure, but everything was well seasoned & a good value. Plump, juicy and full of flavor, I will order these next time I eat here. Grits were creamy & hot. Garlic eggs were a great accompaniment to the meal. If you are in the area, I highly recommend Seafood Cafe. The cashier girl was also very sweet & patient which I really appreciated. read more

Placed my order to pick up through Grubhub to make picking the food up easier and it was an epic fail because they canceled my order as soon as i got to the establishment. Ended up placing my order on the phone and it took 30 minutes to prepare. By the time it came out i rushed home to eat it. Food was way too salty. My mom couldn't even eat her rice. Not worth the money or the time wasted. read more

Did a door dash order which was fast and accurate. Fried whiting was cooked perfectly! Seasoned and golden fried just right. Very big generous pieces. I'm on a mission to try new places when I'm in an area and starving. Found this gem down on the Southside of town. They have so many options. It's almost overwhelming but in a good way. The seafood would prob compete with The Juicy Crab because they also have a seafood crab bag. I chose the 3 piece Whiting with 2 sides (Fried okra and Steamed broccoli). It was tasty, seasoned well, good portions and dropped hot. I waited about 15 to 20 mins but watched the TV they had in there. It was actually on Food Network which is cool. Throw in a handmade Peach Punch and dinner was perfect. Total cost around $15 Clean establishment. Small seating area. Plenty parking in the strip mall. read more

Hands down the best pasta I've ever had & I mean EVER! I really can't comment on anything extra other than the pasta & garlic bread since that's the only thing I've tried. Every since I started eating here 3 years ago it's always been the same thing. Shrimp pasta extra shrimp for me & my husband gets the shrimp pasta add fish & potatoes. It is amazing the amount of flavors that explode in your mouth is just so good. I've always called ahead and picked up my food, so i can't comment on dine-in experience but if you are a pasta lover please to check this out. read more

Better than Juicy Crab....that should really be all I need to say, and they been doing it longer than juicy crab lol. The fried shrimp are to die for, literally my favorite. The only side I order is garlic eggs (thank me later). Any lemonade is a must...and if you're a person that always needs dessert that CAKE is deadly (strawberry shortcake and chocolate are my fav). Get there and be willing to wait (WORTH THE WAIT) if you don't call ahead because it's a HOT SPOT. read more

Stopped here for lunch and ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta. Unimpressed. The Cajun sauce was bland and gritty and tasted "leftover". The garlic bread was fine I'm glad I ordered two with an specialty drink. All and all a $10 lunch that I didn't eat half of. I might try something else from their menu if we pass this way again for lunch but I don't plan on any return trips. read more

The food was absolutely delicious. For my first time eating here I was very pleased. I got the steamed salmon diner special with brown rice and broccoli. Rice was prepared well, broccoli was well seasoned with a hint a sweet and the salmon was cooked with a hickory glaze of choice. I also got a cluster of crabs with potato's which had a very unique fresh seasoning to It. Loved it ! My second time eating here I got the salmon garlic crusted by accident . It was delicious, I really enjoy how tender and fresh the salmon is. The rice wasn't too good this time and the broccoli was steamed very well as per usual. My favorite thing about this place is the price ! Great price for the quality of food. Definitely one of my go to spots I would say. 10 out of 10 would recommend first I wanna start by saying if you go, you must try the fried broccoli go ahead and get the sweet heat sauce and some ranch. Was really delicious and it hit the spot. It does tend to be oily. If you need to diet or are dieting, opt out by asking for no sauce or butter added. The extra butter or oil will leak out the bag and onto clothes, so be careful. read more

OMG! I just ordered from the Seafood Cafe for the first time ever and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. So glad I found this spot which has officially become the seafood spot that I'll be bringing family and friends when they come to town. When I walked in, one of the gentleman who worked there, was sitting at a table and asked me what I wanted. Since it was my first time, I had to ponder. He asked me to give him and idea of what I was thinking about getting and he pointed out the platter that met all my needs. He was very helpful. I ordered the Snow Crab Cluster, fried shrimp, fried catfish, a double side of the fried broccoli. I can't believe I've never had fried broccoli before. Everything was seasoned to perfection tasted absolutely delicious. I also had a piece of chocolate cake which is making my mouth water as I think about it. I, literally, demolished that slice. I paid $29 for everything which if you ask me, is a great price for the great taste and for the amount of food. A friend of mine told me a while back that most places that fry shrimp don't clean the feces from the shrimp beforehand. Knowing this turned me off from wanting fried shrimp. That may not be a concern to many, but that would be my only gripe...some of the shrimp had the feces inside, so I spent time removing it before I ate it. All in all, I most certainly will be returning to enjoy some more of this scrumptious food! read more

Picked up a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. I had to call a few times to get someone to answer. I had the sauteed conch dinner with fried broccoli and yellow rice. I added on a piece of catfish too. It was all very tasty especially the catfish. Who would have thought fried broccoli would be so good?! I also got a slice of the strawberry shortcake cake and while it was very moist it lacked flavor. Boy was I disappointed. read more

So although I love this restaurant I am going to be honest and give 3 stars because they use way too much garlic on the food. I ordered the shrimp and rice with broccoli, an extra corn and garlic egg as well... the shrimp is cooked perfectly, but like I stated earlier they put way too much garlic on all of the items. I feel like it takes away from how good the food is.. next time I go I will make sure I ask for light garlic.. read more

First time trying this establishment. We ordered via GrubHub. The service was efficient and prompt. We ordered the fried fish lunch, seafood platter, and salmon dinner. Unfortunately, the filet fish had bones. So I couldn't enjoy it the way I liked. But it was well-seasoned. The fried seafood platter was also well-seasoned. But upon reheating it-it was kind of salty. The salmon dinner was delicious and well-seasoned. Please note-the vegetables are seasoned with garlic. If that's not your thing, please let the restaurant know. All in all, I would try this spot again for their steamed entrees. read more

First of all, found this place on Yelp. Don't be in a hurry. They are slow because everything is made to order. That's a good thing depending on where you stand. Out to lunch, long wait, not good. Out with friends, watch TV while you wait and talk, that's OK. The staff was awesome. Very friendly and makes you feel at home. Back to the food. Everything in the pictures looked good. I went with 2 Coworkers. They ordered the catfish and shrimp. I ordered the shrimp pasta. The one thing we all agreed on was that the fool was too salty. We should have said something about that but were already waiting a while for our food. Other than that, the food was tasty. This is a small place so if your thinking about eating in, good luck. I give this place 4 stars only because the food was salty. Other than that, it would have been a little better. I recommend. Just watch the salt. read more

I went to Seafood cafe for lunch today based on Yelp reviews. I called to place my order a few times but no one picked up until about 12:30. Maybe they open later than stated due to COVID. However , I did place an order and the lady on the phone was very friendly and thorough with my order. I chose 3 lunch menu items , which are very good prices. The lady told me she would call me back in 30 minutes to pick up my order. Due to the pandemic there are no walk in orders which I appreciate, safety first. I ordered the crab leg lunch special that comes with one side for $10. I chose the yellow rice.It also comes with a can drink. I also got the 2 pc whiting lunch with fried okra which was delicious! I also ordered ( I'm greedy) the shrimp pasta lunch with the garlic egg for the side and garlic bread. I didn't like the garlic bread it had a funny taste so I tossed it. Everything else was pretty tasty. The food all comes with a lot of garlic, but I like garlic. They had several cake slices on display which looked heavenly! I didn't purchase a slice as I already ordered a lot of food. The flavors included a key lime which I must come back and try. The parking is ample, and the store is clean. I would eat here again. For all this food I spent $22 which is a great prices from the lunch menu. read more
