What a great way to see different angle views of False Creek. I've had guests staying over from overseas & they just absolutely loved it. The next time you're at Granville Island & have some extra time to kill, I'd highly recommend doing the round trip from Granville Island & back. It costs about $15 return & it's worth it. A day pass is also available for multiple trips as well - I highly recommend this option if you have a few hours to spare. Pay onboard. Do this during a clear blue sky summer day. If it's cloudy or overcast, don't bother. Staff are friendly & helpful. The seating is comfortable & you can get up to take pictures as you move through False Creek. Like I said I experienced the Aquabus twice this summer & found it so relaxing to be on the water after dinner. Kinda had sea legs after my last trip, when I got back & started walking. LOL. It's a great way to see False Creek along the water. Open daily from 7am till 915pm.

They claimed smoke in the engine room and limped back to port before we even turned into the Arm. Other reviews have reported unexplained itinerary changes that eliminated the main part of the trip. One has to wonder if they don't go up the Arm simply to save money when it's not fully booked or if their boats are that unreliable. While I understand mechanical issues, their compensation policy was completely inadequate. They offered a free drink on board and a coupon for 15% off a future cruise. Anyone booking on the internet can get a 20% discount off any cruise! After much back and forth they finally offered a 20% refund. The final price after this discount was approximately double the price of a narrated harbor tour. We received an un-narrated tour of the container port instead of a tour of the natural environment, which is what we were promised. We feel cheated by Harbour Cruises of Vancouver. Sail at your own risk!

The tickets are pretty…read morecheap at a few dollars each depending on where you're going - even if you don't have a particular destination, it's fun to just ride along. It's pretty hard to tell which direction the ferry is going next though unless you're very familiar with the routes, so make sure you ask the driver just in case. I find that the ones I've interacted with all ask you where you're going before letting you on, so at least I haven't taken the wrong boat yet. They have a zone system for ticketing and at first it was a bit confusing for which zone ticket was needed to go where. But they have nice maps at each stop so it wasn't too hard to decipher after awhile. The boat drivers were also pretty nice and were happy to answer questions about tickets. I took the boats during the Big Picnic event at David Lam park. There were other people on the boat but it was not crowded at all. Boats also came all the time and so we didn't have to wait much before ours came. The boat doors were left open when I rode the boats and so it was really nice to be able to take pictures and videos without obstruction from the windows or clear screens. The creek is relatively calm most of the time and the rides are short, so most people probably won't get sea sick.

They are quick to charge your card the full amount, but have not responded to 3 voicemails, four emails, and one FB message. I suspect they are not staffing the communication lines because the season doesn't open until May, but they SHOULD NOT CHARGE CARDS if the office isn't open. This is misrepresenting the cancellation policy. It's a significant sum of money to be out, and I do not wish to wait until May. I am opening a credit card dispute, but this is hugely aggravating and an inconvenience.

The boat is larger than it's competitors (a huge catamaran) and has both inside and outdoor seating. No need to wear those waterproof fullbody suits so it felt quite easy and accessible to everyone. Our tour was very nice, we were lucky to have great weather. Lovely views of Vancouver, Bowen island and the Sunshine coast. We first spotted some whales and even saw one breaching, it was very spectacular! We then headed to a second spot to look at a pod of orcas, also amazing to watch. The whole tour lasted 5 hours. It did feel a bit long at the beginning since it took maybe 1h20-2 hours to find any sea creature. The captain took us to see some seals and we saw an eagle as well at the end of the tour. Very good family activity if you like the ocean.

I paid $1,000 deposit for gas, I was asked to e-transfer to Juan He. I spent a total of $120 gas on the yacht. Juan He is not returning my calls, and is not returning my $880. I had a horrible experience with Juan He. My car broke down the day I organized to pay cash deposit to Juan He, after that she was very rude and frustrated with me. I let her know that my car broke down, and my boyfriend was having second thoughts about the yacht due to Covid-19 and I would let her know as soon as I did about the yacht booking. I called back about 4 days later to book the yacht, she was still rude and stated that I had to pay full price of $3,808 in order to book the yacht. I e-transferred $1,904, and she threatened to cancel the booking and return my money. I asked if I could pay $1,904 deposit and pay the rest on the day of, and she angrily agreed. On July 19, she demanded a $1,904 e-transfer, or the yacht would not leave the Richmond dock to pick us up in False Creek. She also demanded a $1,000 e-transfer to pre-pay for gas. I paid, as she said she would cancel the charter if I did not. We reached False Creek, we were late for the charter understanding it would be going into our own time. We got on the boat and one bathroom did not work. We were promised 2 bathrooms. The other bathroom stopped working within an hour into the charter. We had no bathroom to use for the rest of the charter. Also, while on the yacht, the captain's driving was extremely unsafe. He did not seem qualified at all. My boyfriend has owned several boats/yachts before and was helping him the entire time, and was not able to enjoy his birthday as he was worried for our safety. The captain was not able to dock properly, and the yacht was rocking the whole entire time. Many passengers were thrown across the yacht and have bruises. The captain was also extremely rude and was yelling at the passengers of the party. He screamed "NO" when one passenger tried to take food from the top floor to the bottom floor. He stated all food must stay on the top floor, even though the food was flying everywhere. Also, he forbid us to take off the windows of the top floor of the boat, he claimed "they are hard to put back on." We were sitting on the top, and it was muggy and crowded, we said we would help put them back on and took them off ourselves. I understand that I did not show for the first payment, but that is no reason to mistreat your customer for the entirety of their booking and also steal their money.

They had us arrive at 10 AM with the rental lasting until 1 PM, though we had to watch a 20 minute safety video and get lifejackets and everything so by the time we got in the boat and started off, we had about 2 1/2 hours left. I guess that's why they give you the third hour free? Fuel was extra though, which we didn't realize. Regardless, we felt it was well priced compared to other places where renting a boat could be double or triple the price. our boat was clean and looked practically brand new. We really appreciated that there was a cover/canopy on the boat to give us shade. We had amazing weather and the whole trip was lovely. I would definitely recommend doing this.

We met our tour guide, Ali at the designated time (11am) at the designated place, and 20 or so of us enjoyed an incredibly interesting walking tour of Chinatown. There is no way we would have gotten the feel for this city had we not taken this tour. Several folks were repeat tour guy visitors, so they must have enjoyed those as well. Our group had folks from several countries. It is a relaxed tour at a pace that is just right...not too fast and not too slow. Seriously, just right! And absolutely everyone in our group was happy to hand over generous thank you tips. Well-deserved. Ali was kind enough at the end of the tour to guide anyone who wanted dining suggestions or directions. For us, he was even kind enough to let us walk along with him since we were heading in the same direction. As a result, we were fortunate enough to get an extended tour, as he remained a wealth of Vancouver info as we went along. Highly recommend!

She pointed out some places of interest, told us the history of Chinatown, took us to a herbal store, and ended the tour at the Chinese Gardens. The tour was over 2 hours, and she gave suggestions for lunch. I love these type of tours because they are given by people who have lived there for a good amount of time, and who are passionate about what they are presenting. She was no exception.
