We…read moreended up having them do our backsplash in quartzite because we loved our counters so much and we trusted them. Here are a few things that set them apart from other contractors I interviewed: 1) responsive but not pushy. Some stone fabricators in San diego are incredibly pushy. 2) professional- in communication and in the way they do their operations. 3) high tech machinery and a clean cutting room. They let me see the cut template before cutting. 4) high attention to detail. 5) a proper itemized contract. Some contractors would just send me a text message with rates. That's not the way I want to do business, especially when thousands of dollars are being exchanged. The way they did quotes and contracts is what made me pull the trigger. They were mid point on price but for the service and quality you got, i felt it was a great value. I also love giving my money to a nice, hard working family. Thanks Sam, we will definitely use you again and recommend all our friends and family! You will not be disappointed. - sincerely, a high maintenance, overthinking customer :) hi Also, for those curious, the slab name in picture is a quartzite called Levezzi Classic. I purchased it at arizona tile (who is also fantastic). Blackstone had some similar quartzite but i had already put a hold on the stone before i found blackstone.

Coast To Coast Restoration - Remodel completed 2023

    Coast To Coast Restoration

    (235 reviews)

I recently completed a major renovation of my kitchen, master bathroom, and powder room following a…read morewater damage claim, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Coast to Coast. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Josh was super helpful, walking us through the process and recommendations, and his tile team is amazing. His business partner and wife Lisa was wonderful as well, helping us keep on top of the process and scheduling. We were on a tight timeframe and they did everything they could to make it work and make sure it was done right. Also, we were on vacation while the remodel was happening and Josh and his crew kept everything on-track while we were gone, which was a huge relief.

I want to be very specific with this review. Precise showers recently did a project for us which…read moreincluded kitchen backsplash tile install, master bath shower replacement and tiling, and master bath backsplash tile. The master bath work is top notch, with work by his subs Hugo and Pepe absolutely outstanding. Same is true for the master backsplash, a very complicated glass tile impeccably installed. The kitchen tile is beautiful, although not up to the bathroom standard because it was done mostly by a second tile team, not yet up to the "A" team standards, but ok nonetheless. Josh, the planning and sales side of the business, is very knowledgeable on the front end but hard to contact after the project is underway. He has low tolerance for changes, shows up intermittently, and in the end just wants to be done and move on. Lisa, the business end, is cordial, but has a very short fuse. We had damage done to our bathroom walls during demo, which josh indicated might happen. But that damage cost us an additional $1300 to fix, using a contractor Lisa recommended and trusts. I expected a little damage, but not that much. Josh and Lisa were both offended when we asked if they would be willing to share part of the cost. Offended may be too mild a word. Belligerent might be a better word. So here's my advice if you use these guys. Pay very close attention. Get everything in writing. Expect significant resistance to changes or modifications. Anything that goes wrong will always, always be you fault. Based on other reviews, I expect a dramatic rebuttal to this review. If so, I will be happy to support an amazingly detailed email paper trail to support all I've said. Otherwise, let's let sleeping dogs lie. good luck everyone. Be thorough.
