What an amazing dinner we had at Sea Grille! Everything was perfect. The oysters were so fresh and delicious. I had the Nantucket Seafood Brodo, which has a little bit of everything: lobster, clams, mussels, scallops and calamari. It sits in a fennel and saffron broth. It was my birthday, so we went all out and got several desserts. Our waitress was very attentive. Overall we were blown away! 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

The Sea Grille in Nantucket is always a top pick for fresh, well-prepared seafood and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are consistently delicious and you can tell they care about quality and hospitality. The affogato at the end of the meal was incredible - the perfect sweet finish and now a must-order every time I go.

Everything at seagrille was above and beyond for our anniversary dinner! The lobster bisque with the puff pastry was insane! Deconstructed ravioli for dinner was fresh with shrimp, lobster, and scallops. The raw oysters were also insane and very fresh. Our server was super friendly and welcoming! Overall the perfect spot to celebrate or just for a night out!

Popped in to satisfy my chowder craving along with a solid Caesar salad. The place was packed (which I was happy to see as I've been a guest there for decades) so I could only sit at the bar. The chowder lacked its usual seasoning and I didn't pick up any of the typical herb accent (rosemary or thyme). The Caesar was very nice and the croutons crunchy. The service by the bartender was efficient & all smiles. Visiting the Sea Grille over the past 30 years has always been a pleasure. I'll likely go back & have their lobster bisque with puff pastry next time. It's SO good! The grilled lobster & house made fettuccine is on the same list! If you choose to go in summer...best to make a reservation.

Congratulations on 35 years! We come to Nantucket every spring and this is a must on our list. When asking industry people ( bartenders, front desk, waitresses and waiters, etc) for their suggestions, the Sea Grille is always tops on their list. We sat at the bar tonight for a lighter dinner and the food and hospitality were perfect. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Was able to speak with Chef Tucker tonight as well who obviously runs a great kitchen. Highly recommended!

We wanted to come here for the smoked blue fish and it did not disappoint. It was indeed, smoky. It also didnt have a whole lot of filler like mayo so you can taste the fresh fish. We also really enjoyed the mussles. They are in a curry broth with fresh peas. It is a broth you want to eat with a spoon. So good.

An amazing find on this island! I believe it's a local favorite as well! The food was amazing! The ambience was nice and quiet enough that you could have a conversation with your guests. The service was great and timely. Can't wait to go back!

This restaurant has a special middle ground for families with young kids, where they totally know how to handle young kids but also make grown ups feel like they're going out somewhere more special than they usually can with the kiddos. At least, that's how we felt! Our waitress was really sweet, and she knew how to act quickly to get kids' orders in and extra bread on the table. (And another round of drinks!) Of course, the food is also incredibly good. I was actually stunned by how good and pretty my yellowish tuna looked. The spot feels upscale without being too stuffy - just the "right amount of stuffy" for Nantucket.

Wow. The food incredible, especially the halibut special they had going. The service was perfection. I'm not sure her name but she was attentive and great with recommendations. The place was clean and overall just a great experience especially with other things on the island closing for the season. Will definitely be back if I come back to Nantucket!

Food was 10/10. Service was 10/10. Everything we had was delicious. There's also a complimentary bread service that was delicious. The service we received was great. Definitely recommend

We called ahead and made a reservation. We were seated immediately. Service was kind and efficient. We started with the clam chowder (oops, think they call it quahog) and it was very good. Then we ordered the open form ravioli and stuffed lobster. Both were outstanding and we would get them again. The sauce with the ravioli was wonderful!!

    Caviar tots, crab cake, mussels

This was by far the best meal we had on Nantucket. Every dish was absolutely stellar, and we were shocked with the creativity of some of the dishes. Also, I would do unspeakable things for that butter cake. Jeez Louise that was insane. Cannot wait to go back!

There's a place to park, I can walk in, order a fried fish sandwich, look at some lobsters in a tank for ten minutes (the best part) and be out the door with a hot n ready fried fish sandwich in my hands. And then I was feeding off of her energy, and I was just having such a great moment in Sayle's Seafood! Now, I could sit in and eat here and bask in their fishy glory since there are tables, but I have yet to do so. I also love the view of the harbor from the front porch and that it's tucked down that little street and the vibe is so island that it contributes to the over-romanticism of Nantucket that happens in my mind but that's okay. The fish sandwich was really good. The time before that, I ordered the clam strips side, which was a lot smaller than I believed it was going to be. They were small individual pieces and fried well-done, while I do prefer a softer crunch. Next time, I will order the clam strip platter which comes with accoutrements. I also had their clam chowder, which I also thought was pretty good. I will be back for more seafood, and I hope that it is soon!

After having been brought to our seats at the bar, then told they were reserved, we were walked back outside to sidewalk and into adjacent restaurant's (boarding house) dark & dank -empty- bar (with music blaring), we asked if an outside sidewalk table was available. Yes but we needed to eat & leave by 7:15. It was 6:15. We said yes because we knew (ASSUMED) that was possible. Though there were 3 2-seat tables available, she put at a table almost on top of a table of 6...3 very loud & ill behaved children. And that's where we remained, waiting a while for "server" to ask us for drink order, then finally take our dinner order (never mentioned the specials; I had to ask) and then we waited & waited (meantime 7:15 came & went) for our very small servings of boring (& room temp) cod & even smaller ("share plate"?!?) of crudo. Caesar salad had a little twist: no croutons and topped with anchovies. It was yummy. Fish tacos were a hit; we ordered fried instead of grilled. The warm lobster rolls were delicious.
