Great service and nice restaurant. Sat at the bar on a busy booming Saturday. The bartender in front of us was making drinks the entire time we were sitting there. He was like a machine !!! lol. His arms must've been killing him !! If he reads this he needs to know he's a rockstar. Anyways for food we got the ribeye and the rigatoni with short rib ragu. The flavors were all delicious. I do wish there was a little more short rib on mine but that's really my only critique. I got the spicy tequila drink it was fantastic also. I will also say the menu here is very small. The pizzas going by looked insane I kind of wish I got one !

Ambiance- what a beautiful restaurant. Amazing tiles on the walls, the ceiling had plant boxes, and just overall beautiful table/booths Rolls come in a paper bag with oil and they were great, they're made fresh throughout the day. We got the Eggplant rollatini appetizer and holy moly melt in your mouth good. The sauce was unbelievably good and had a deep robust flavor. It was a light item that came with 3 rolls. That's where the good part ended honestly. When it came to the meals, it was very lacking and disappointing. My friend and I got the tortellone and it had zero flavor. My other friend got a salmon dish and the salmon was good but everything else on the plate was bland and did not get finished.

The BEST PIZZA in Norwell, No- in Massachusetts ever and the service is good too. We went at a time where the place was nice and quiet and not too loud. 10/10, would eat here again.

Scutari on the South Shore! First time dining here at Scutari, one of the many restaurants in the Alba family. We had Erisa as our server and she was lovely. The restaurant is large with 2 different sections: bar and casual dining. Since it was our anniversary we sat on the casual dining section. We started off with a split of Veuve to celebrate. We also had their eggplant rollatini as an appetizer. It was fantastic! We both enjoyed it. For entrees, I ordered the Chix Piccata and my husband had the Pappardelle al Ragu. Everything came out good. We enjoyed our time here very much. Cheers!

Headed to Alba's third foray into its restaurant empire. This one may be the best of the three. Well-done Italian-American fare seems to be their style. If you want innovative --this isn't your place, but I'll bet you will leave happy and satisfied. The place is much larger than I anticipated. The tonal coloring helps to ground the place and also evoked a feeling of a Tuscan countryside. The tree decorations on the ceiling might have helped that feeling along. On this particular Saturday night, room was buzzing. Dishes rolled out in quick succession and amidst it all our server very attentive and patient. As with any newer place, there were some hits and misses but on balance (and in the words of Tom Cruise) the hits kept on coming. Swordfish was well-cooked and the Castelvetrano olives were a trendy but good choice as they stood up to the firmer texture of the swordfish. Could have done with less parmesan in the "creamy" polenta which pushed the dish a touch on the saltier side. Lasagna, straight forward and cooked well. A nice balance of meat and cheese. Arancini? - nothing to see here, but ok for what they were. A special mention to the focaccia bread which the owner has served in a bag. I am still thinking about what that signals... Dr. Jekyll asked that I try by itself the house made sauce sitting around the arancini. Bitter -- perhaps overcooked (I didn't ask). Mr. Hyde was fine with the same sauce around the lasagna (perhaps the bechamel helped it). I intend to try it again on return. Did I like my tequila, blood orange, jalapeno-infused currant drink? Not really -- the sweetness won over in the battle of ingredients, so perhaps less would have been more here. I'll be back -- and this time asking for a Negroni.

The service was impeccable. The waitress was very attentive although I had no silverware for the first 40 minutes there which was slightly strange and then when they brought me some, they didn't bring me all of it. The ambience was nice very beautiful inside there was tons of space although the food definitely left some stuff lacking the bread came cold in a paper bag even though I knew it was coming in a paper bag and I heard it was gonna be cold from other reviews. I didn't think it would be, but it was . They gladly swapped out the pasta in my dish, and I thought my dish was delicious although my girlfriend and her friend were both supremely underwhelmed at their dishes and they honestly didn't even look good I didn't take a picture of my friends. It looked like beef stew on top of pasta. She ate two bites so overall I would say that it is OK to go there but if you can find something better in the area I would go although if you do go at least get the shrimp scampi.

We've come back a couple times since they first opened and have had great meals! The servers are on point and very attentive. Definitely one of our go to spots now, especially since the kids have found meals that they like, and that's not always easy. :)

The outside is deceiving because once you walk into this place, it is gorgeous. You can tell by my pictures I clearly love the decor, but the food was amazing as well. Tasty, fresh, and great portioning. The presentations for everything was beautiful and out server was super helpful with deciding what choices to be made (because there were so many good options). We even chatted for a bit. The ONLY reason I didn't give a 5/5 is because the desserts were beautiful, but not as tasty as the dinner. At least, the tiramisu wasn't which was so sad. But nevertheless, I will definitely be returning!

The Fermentary carries other local breweries' beer - Widowmaker, Vitamin Sea, Stellwagen, etc. They also carry all natural wines and have some snacks to munch on (the pretzel and queso are really good!). They made some nice upgrades. It seems brighter and maybe more seating. Only "negatives" we've seen are that they are very heavy on IPAs (mostly double and triples, the couple times we've been), which isn't too bad for us, because we really only drink IPAs, but if you're looking for a lager or an ale, your options might be limited. Also, they don't have cable, so if it's a local game you're trying to catch, you'll be out of luck. Notice they've had some events held there - seems like it would be a great spot for that (nice open space with fireplace and tv). This will definitely be our go-to for a laid back afternoon/early evening, quick drink or two. Definitely check it out!

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.

Had a lovely server named Erin who did a fine job taking good care of us. Just before the meal ended I told her I did not want any extra charges on my bill because the last time they put some kind of admin fee I think is what they call it at the bottom of the bill. Well she said she was unable to do it because it was a policy in both of their restaurants but that she would send over the manager. He arrived and explained that the charge was TO HELP COVER THE COST OF THEIR IMPORTED GOODS LIKE CHEESES AND OILVE OIL.. and something about the tariffs... and they haven't raised their prices for 2 years. Well maybe you should and stop the additional charge. Don't know about anyone else but I am not interested in paying for a restaurants cost of goods or the cost of running their restaurant in general. He did remove it but not before telling me he did not like the way I spoke to him. Personally I don't believe that's why he said that but it was more he did not like what he was hearing. He was young and will gain more wisdom at time goes by. Wishing them all the best but we will not be back

It was a small gathering (just 4 of us) and this seemed like a fun thing to do. We've been to SOT a few times and it's always been great. I checked the website to see if there was a Thanksgiving menu, and there wasn't. This suited us just fine because we love the menu. Our out-of-town guest brought desserts, so the plan was to have dinner at SOT and dessert at home. Imagine our shock to arrive and find an unappetizing and expensive prix fixe Thanksgiving menu. I had the Caesar salad which was utter slop. It was like a packaged Dole salad, but far worse because there was too much dressing and too much cheese. Upon further reflection, I'm not sure this *wasn't* a bagged salad that someone tried to spruce up with more dressing and cheese. Blech. Two of us went against our better judgement and got the $72 (!) Thanksgiving entree and it was slop too: Slices of dry turkey piled atop gross stuffing with a pile of squash on one side and a scoop of mashed potatoes on the other, all slathered in nasty brown gravy. The cranberry sauce was the only good thing and it helped ameliorate the shabbiness, but there wasn't enough of it to save this unappealing orgy of brown food. It was sad that there was no vegetable in this entree, but I guess vegetables would have been too difficult to pull off for the crowds they had. Two of us got the haddock and said the corn chowder with bacon was much too salty. Dessert was nothing special. Before being seated, there was the chaos we encountered at the front of the house. The restaurant was clearly overbooked. We got there at 5:05 for our 5:15 reservation to find the area from the bar to the front door packed with people waiting to be seated. A senior citizen was sitting sadly on a chair by the front door, getting blasts of cold air every time the door opened. When she and her party were seated I had my mother (80 years old) sit on the lone chair. People just kept piling in... it was loud, stressful, and dangerous. KUDOS TO THE STAFF FOR ENDURING THIS LEVEL OF CHAOS WITH PATIENCE AND GRACE! The second star is for them. I have to ask: Did someone at SOT decide to foist a Thanksgiving menu upon everyone at the last minute? If I'd seen that menu I wouldn't have made a reservation. I've always liked SOT but I'm not sure we'll ever go back. We had fun together because the atmosphere there is always festive, but we truly felt insulted by that dinner, and bamboozled by having to order from a menu we didn't expect. Our dinner came up to $316, $386 with tip. If the food had been spectacular we wouldn't have minded, but this was shameful. The owners will have made a killing yesterday, but this experience killed our Thanksgiving. NO THANKS AND NEVER AGAIN.

When we were waiting for our table at the hostess stand, we and another party saw a mouse. My husband stated he thought it ran over his foot. I asked if we should go... but as we are veterans of living in the city and mice being pretty normal, we decided to stay. Maybe we should have gone to have a better night. Service at the start was fine, but then drinks did not come until after the first round of food. In addition, as I've seen from a few reviews here, we received an additional tray of tacos that was not ours, which a runner then took away and looked to serve to the correct table. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I know you never take a plate of food from one table and move it to another. Everything came out within 7 to 10 minutes, which was great, but a few of the tacos seemed like they had been sitting and were soggy which I took to mean they were sitting prepped in the kitchen and just popped on the table. Who knows. Because then when we ordered a few more tacos, we waited about 20 minutes before starting to look around and our server not once making eye contact. 10 minutes later, my husband and daughter left to go to the bookstore while I waited for the check and as soon as they had left, the tacos came out, in a to go box. The server did not offer to do anything in regards to the long wait time, which even if I wouldn't have taken, should have been addressed. We won't be coming back for a long time... It seems they've lost their way. If you do go...the pork belly taco and the crispy oyster taco were both delicious (even if soggy).

The sushi rolls are hearty and could make a meal in and of itself. Fish was fresh, but I found the flavors in the rolls a bit muddled and on the sweeter side. We had honey and mango in our rolls that accounted for the sweetness, but I would have appreciated some acid or perhaps more salt (ironically) to cut it. I also sampled a poke bowl. Tuna was tasty and appreciated the texture of the crunchy bits. Service was friendly -- although they taunted us a bit as the TV on the wall had a live stream of a bar in St. John's. Want to know what that's about. Came once before early on and service and portions felt a bit off -- no longer -- they are learning and appear to be hitting their stride. On a side note, if you are like me, you're a bit confused why Greater Boston has nice seaside towns but don't lean enough into the ocean's flavor. A great omikase and sake is still not happening outside of Boston, unfortunately (if I'm wrong, tell me where).
