Sarah was a bit difficult to get a hold of the first time, but I am persistent, and she was amazing and accommodated evening appointments! It was my first time getting microblading done, and it's only day 3 of healing so I will post photos later once they heal, but I was so impressed with how she shaped and manicured my brows. I already have "good brows" (I'm Armenian), but I am also blonde and the ends get funky and so rather than laminating them, I decided to try microblading. So u never finished doing my eyebrows &they definitely DID NOT "brighten up" in the next few days like u purposely mislead me into believing, even though you KNEW that I was going to STILL have no eyebrows. But u didn't care about that either. I should have saw this all coming when it took me 6+ weeks to not only get ahold of u(because that was just a complete & utter nightmare in itself!) but with how hard it was to get u to respond to me @all, & confirm an appointment date (because you kept canceling on me, & needing to reschedule 2-3 times before our first meeting) Then after our first appointment, I messaged u almost immediately &told u how disappointed I was. I told u how they were not what I wanted and they were peeling horribly. U kept gaslighting me & making me think that was normal &they would "brighten up" the next couple days. But they definitely did not. it only got worse & worse. Until there was nothing there .... u couldn't tell I ever went in to have them done @ all. i sent you multiple texts and pictures expressing this & asking you if we could make another appointment, yet every time we made one, u would just have some new excuse as to why you weren't going to be able to make it to it. &we would reschedule, & AGAIN, u would cancel and tell me yet another excuse as to why we had to cancel. U strung me along for almost all of October & all of November. And then I even continued to message u throughout December, & even 2x more in January. And u just never responded @ that point. Which is a shitty feeling. It's clear u don't give a shit about your customers or about helping them feel more confident &comfortable in their own skin. You were not only misleading , but u make it very apparent how unimportant &truly insignificant your customers (&their needs) are to u. I would have liked to believe that someone who works in the industry that u do, would be more concerned with empowering other woman, & making sure that they not only feel like the person who they are entrusting to make them feel comfortable &confident with the way they look, but that person would be more concerned with making sure they are feeling validated by u. Not just ignored & shown that u really don't give a shit about them, or what u do for a living. U seem so disinterested in actually helping me fix my eyebrows, &everything u have said &done since we first met, has been nothing short of disingenuous @ best. I truly am not only disappointed but disgusted that another woman could treat other women with such disrespect & carelessness. U are not a brow technician, u are a theif & that is blatantly obvious just by reading other women's comments about how horribly untreated them, &how truly awful their experiences were with u. There are dozens & dozens of others who share my anger, dissatisfaction & disappointment with not only the "work" (if you can even call it that) you did, but with how horribly you treated us throughout the entire process. How hard it was to get ahold of u for our follow up/next step, & how hard you made it to even be able to be seen by you in the first place, let alone the follow up appointment. U take no accountability whatsoever, and just continuously make excuses for your horrible behavior and customer service. U try and gaslight your customers &make them feel like they are the ones who are in the wrong, but we all know that is not even close to being true. U are a complete &utter disgrace to the beauty industry &I am truly disgusted to be the same gender, let alone species as someone who is so careless, cruel, &unwilling to even make an attempt @being able to empathize with others. Everything you've done & said since day 1 has been so dishonest & misleading. I would NEVER recommend u to ANYONE! Especially a profession that requires compassion, empathy, respect, kindness & accountability, because u share absolutely NONE of those attributes. &I am ashamed to ever have put a $ in your hand, &supported your thievery @ all. I wish I would have seen these reviews before my appointment. I dealt with all of the same complaints others mentioned. When I went in for my first appointment, I was out in 45 minutes. I knew right then it wasn't good. Other businesses say your first appt is about 2-3 hours because of a consult, mapping, etc. Nope. And my brows suck. There is no shape to them, and the touch up she did, didn't help. Not to mention her conversations with me and others in the shop are unprofessional. This was my 1st time getting my brows microbladed. I had such a great experience. I wanted to do an unconventional brow shape i and Sarah was so willing and excited to do so. My brows are uneven so Sarah has to work on making them even but she's offered to keep having me come back until they're perfect at no extra cost. I took Sarah's microblading class and am so happy I did. She keeps the classes small. There was only one other girl in my class. The small classes allow her to stay by our side and help us with any questions we have when microblading for the first time on the models we brought in. It appears that the reviews I read prior to buying a Groupon were legitimate. Her voicemail box is full and despite the message on her voicemail stating that texting will get a quicker response, it's not quick either. I canceled my Groupon due to her poor communication skills And lack of response to messages. I read numerous complaints and each time she had a reason for not getting back to clients such as being very busy. Please be careful when booking an appointment with Sarah! I had booked an appointment with her several weeks ago and placed the $50 deposit. I then called her the very next day and spoke to her and had to cancel that appointment which was still almost 2 weeks out. Sarah stated that she wasn't able to refund it on the site that I originally paid it on, which seemed very odd.. she stated she would have to Zelle it to me so I gave her my banking information. It's been several weeks and I still do not have my refund of $50 and she refuses to return any of my communications to her. I have had to contact my Wells Fargo bank and file a complaint in order to have the money refunded to my credit card, which they assured me they would do. I have never been in this situation with any other service I have booked. It has been a very unprofessional situation as well as a terrible business ethic. She has also replied to my Google review in a very condescending way. So again for those of you who are wanting to get your eyebrows done, please look for someone else! I was multi-tasking, and for once in my life-- I looked at Groupon reviews instead of Yelp reviews. Yep-- Game over. My fiancee scheduled an appointment, and I was extremely shocked that the next available appointment was not until April 13th. Apparently, others are not reviewing Yelp. So she (my fiancee) works with her work team & manager to get time off to do this, because another shock-- this place is closed on weekends. You know, when most people can go spend 2+ hours doing this. My fiancee works it all out, covers for her peers & makes up time to make it all work. Then, after months & on the DAY OF the appointment, at 3pm as my fiancee is preparing to go to her appointment, she receives a very unprofessional "text message" that they are out of numbing cream & have to reschedule. Strike one. That is like showing up to get your hair cut, and gee they're out of scissors. Get. It. Together. But hey, we are forgiving people-- so let's do more work & reschedule due to the business error. So she tries-- and explains that the reason she made a later appointment was due to work, and is offered a 2pm appointment on Friday the 20th. 2pm. That is like telling a restaurant you need a taco, like you already ordered, and being offered graham crackers. Comprehension, like truth, is also important. Strike 2. Then comes the best part. Sarah (this business), tells her she is booked & cannot do it at a time that works before the Groupon expires, and actually had the audacity to tell my fiancee to get a refund through Groupon to apply it to another Groupon & rebook, giving an extra 4 months... Sure, let's do all this extra work, spend all this extra time, and do THAT because your business "ran out of numbing cream." That sounds customer-focused. Perhaps we should bring you a taco as well? Coz I forgot and swept away with her framing (beautiful), I forgot to SIT UP and see it in the mirror with normal positions (not laying in bed). Mine a bit to wide looking like those beauty bloggers (I never wear make up) I like the thin look but full .. :( my bad .. but I'm quite pleased coz it's only last a year and with a good price (groupon price $163, next year or less if I go back to Arizona, I'll definitely go to her again but stick with my style. I found Sarah on Groupon and saw how natural the pictures of the brows look, that on top of the price was the reason I went to Sarah and I could not be happier. Sarah was easy to communicate through text with and I easily scheduled my appointment. I just went in for my touch up appointment yesterday and honestly I felt like I didn't even need to because I loved how they looked but she did a little touch up and I was in and out quickly. Warning do not go here! Horrible customer service. I had an appointment here today at 5pm. I hired a sitter and drove an hour there and upon arriving the spa was closed. I called and Sara text back saying my appointment was cancelled EVEN though they had text me to confirm the appointment a few days prior. Very rude and unprofessional. Save yourself the time and headache and go elsewhere. To add insult to injury I got a very insincere apology basically deflecting blame and onto me and blaming it on "policy" and insinuating it was my fault because I didn't read the fine print. As a business owner I know that In order to provide good service you must provide good service and kindly remind people if something needs to be done prior to time of service . I followed her Instagram for months and was impressive by how natural all her clients looked so I was excited to find out she offered a Groupon. I wish I could give her ZERO stars. I found Sarah on Groupon and emailed her asking if I am I candidate for microblading or powder brows. I have had shingles on my face in the past which I've read is a no-no for permanent makeup and I also have very oily skin which I've heard doesn't give good or long-lasting results with microblading. I emailed Sarah and asked her about my issues and her reply was to text her with pictures; she didn't answer my questions. This was a red-flag right away as pictures would have nothing to do with the questions I asked. But I sent her my pictures anyway. The photos I have attached are of our conversation. I'm sorry, but how she would have "no idea" on a question that is VERY important (and should be included on a health questionnaire to be discussed) is beyond me. And when I asked about my oily skin, she didn't even bother responding. How unprofessional to ignore a potential client. No one with only 3 years of experience is a "master" at anything. And someone who can't answer questions regarding skin concerns isn't a "master" either. A true master is always learning and always educating themselves. They are professional and humble and always seeking to better themselves. The professional answer should have been that she hasn't had experience with these issues but she would do her own research to educate herself and get back to me. Also, her "after" pictures are immediately after, which look good. What do they look like in the long run??? Avoid this uneducated, and over-inflated ego, "master" and get your brows done by a properly trained and properly educated nurse esthetician. Scary that this girl is also responsible for training other people when she's inexperienced and clueless herself. Remember good isnt cheap and cheap isn't good.
