Horrible service. Called to place an order with salesperson i usually deal with. Was told he was not in and they would have him call me. Waited several days and did not hear back. Called and spoke with same person whom I found out is the manager. Sad the person I requested was no longer working there. So, why did she bother to take the message in the first place??? Any way, placed my order with her for some china and requested the gift be wrapped for a shower gift. Received order, not wrapped, and in a dirty stock room box. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Bait and switch!!! Horrible service!!! I ordered a tray in September, the wrong item arrived in December. Returned and reordered in December and was assured that the item would be inspected prior to sending it's replacement to ensure it did not happen again. Same wrong item arrived in March. I returned the wrong item, and contacted them again in March, April and May. I did not get a response until mid-May. They then told me that they made errors on their website and that if I wanted the item I would have to pay an additional $700. When I told them that customers are not responsible for their errors, I was told that they have a disclaimer at the bottom of their website that says: they take no responsibility for accurate descriptions and they can change the price even after you order (or in my case after I already paid). I had ordered a desk pad from this company. My first concern were the colors as they can be misrepresented from most web sites and I was not sure what would look good in my office. I reached out to customer service and got Abigail. She was quick to respond, sent me actual picture of the desk pad so I could determine which color would be best. After receiving the desk pad, I returned it, for a different reason. Abigail went the extra mile to help me get the package back in exchange for a similar product. Literally the worst place in the world. Young couples - do not register here! You will never be able to use your credit - they make it extremely difficult! The sales floor will be filled with employees who can't help you - only one person can take registry credit and she was is often busy! I was married 7 years ago and still haven't used the credit. Horror story - my umbrella dies in a torrential downpour. I'm nearby and pop in knowing i have the wedding credit. Find a nice umbrella - can't pay for it with credit (credit person is helping a couple create a registry - ["don't do it!" I want to yell, but refrain) and I obviously don't want to give them net new $. I leave empty handed to supersaturate in rain until finding a cab. I didn't want to yell at the floor staff, because some other angry customer was already doing that. Hoaglands in Greenwich is similar and way cooler about credit.
