The worst fresh Grouoer ever! It was very fishy tasting. I order fresh Grouper all of the time in the Tampa area and never had this happen. I will never go back there. $40 meal which the manager comped me $15 so I paid $25 for carrots! The side salad which was a $3 up charge was lettuce, three cherry tomatoes, a round of red onion and two pieces of cucumbers. read more

Being outdoors was nice; there was great weather. Our waiter was a little too personable & stood at our table talking even after we got our food and I did not appreciate that as I was there to enjoy a meal with my husband. Otherwise he was great & kind to us. The food came out extremely fast and it was hot which I did appreciate very much. We did have to wait about 30 mins(originally told 45-50 mins) and that was a great surprise to not have to wait as long. The inside was clean and inviting. Very aesthetically pleasing. Patio could use some TLC. The hostess on staff tonight(around 7pm) was not very friendly; she was stand-offish for sure. Otherwise 7/10 rating. read more

I want to say that we wanted to like this place but after eating here l, we will not be back. First we were told a 15 min wait which no big deal until we went inside and saw that there were at least 10 tables opened. The service was great id have to say that's why the 3. We ordered the coconut shrimp, crab stuffed mushrooms, spring salad and the ahi tuna stack, and all were phenomenal. For drinks I ordered the coconut mojito and my mom ordered the pina colada. Atmosphere is to die for. Service was ok, nothing to write home about but ok. Food was below per for the price. My brother had the blackened fish special and he said it was ok. My wife and I had the boil and it was not good. Crab legs were very small and the seasoning was over the top strong, the shrimp was over cooked and chewy. Not a meal I wanted to pay $60 for. Especially in Florida there's just a lot of better places that you can spend your money. read more

Nice restaurant on the boardwalk of John's pass! We enjoyed a delicious dinner and drinks while overlooking the water. Our kids loved being able to see the boats come through and the occasional dolphins! Our waitress was super nice and helpful! It is a little pricy, but also a tourist destination. Ok let's start with the good. The drinks and the food were good. The service was horrible. Everybody we encountered acted like we were bothering them. They were even allowing tables not to be bussed so they would have to work. Our server said I'm to busy for a more tables as there were 4 tables on a row with peoples left overs on them. Never again. The food was not so great. The tacos didn't have much flavor and the fish seemed like it was sitting around a while. We were provided really dirty silverware. My husband was served sweet tea when he ordered unsweetened tea. My margarita tasted like water that had a slight lime flavor. It was just bad. The server was really nice and hand washed silverware for us, which we appreciated, but I was already grossed out by the experience of seeing someone else's food on my silverware. We went here for a date night on the water during our vacation and it was so perfect! We sat outside and got to look at the water while we ate. Our waitress was so nice. We were in the pasta mood so we ordered the scampi and the Mac n cheese. The rest of their menu looked great but I would still go back and order the same thing because it was delicious!! Don't Waste Your Money. After walking thru John's Pass and wanting to have a nice seafood dinner, we stopped at Sculley's for a meal. Dining here was a disaster. The Grouper nugget appetizer's, although tasty were fried and very greasy. The Fish and Chips come with fries, which I was able to substitute baby potatoes. It was ridiculous that the potatoes were sprinkled with something and not only an upcharge but served COLD. Needed to ask the server to take them back to warm them up, but nowhere to be found. Needed to go out and find him. Never ate them. The fish and chips entrée tasted of stale oil. Hopefully the rum runner drink I ordered would drown out my meal, but alas, it was so weak that it was probably just fruit punch. Expensive fruit punch. What a waste of time and money. This establishment is a factory and no bargain, serving cheap food at gourmet prices. It's on the water and although the views were nice, this place is a first-class Tourist Trap. Finally, the server stands over you while paying the bill electronically. I don't like that. We will never return. read more

Situated in a perfect spot on the pier to dolphins watch with outside seating, skullys was packed the night we went. Servers seemed overworked and stressed however handling best anyone could. The food was delicious, some of the best shrimp pasta we could get and we didn't get the boil but the table next to us said they won't go anywhere else for boils (they were locals) read more

We have come here every time we go to treasure island. Unfortunately this trip we noticed that the staff all seem to be miserable. The drinks have always been on the weaker side.
