Dock location was easy to find, and you can pay for parking using an app at a nearby location. There are restrooms at nearby businesses to change, which the crew will point out. Those bathrooms were okay, but not well maintained and not connected to this business. They also DBA as Tarpoon Lagoon Diving Center. You need to bring the main things, gear or rent, food, drink, sunscreen, tip for crew. Crew was extremely great and knowledgeable. Nice boat and well equipped to take out for snorkeling, felt like the middle of nowhere, but once in the water you could see a lot underneath. It is not great for those who stay on top because you look down from 13-15' of water so things are down a bit and you will have to dive to get a closer look. Crew let us stay out the whole time even though most of the other passengers gave up after a brief swim. I went on a different trip into Biscayne National Park where the water was 3-8' and I saw much more. I felt like the bottom of the water at this location was too deep to enjoy as much and was disturbed with less life. Overall a GOOD trip with experienced crew and a great time.

The vessel itself is…read morecomfortable and beautifully maintained, but what truly set this trip apart was the incredible crew. First, a huge thanks to **Catherine** -- her dual role as Captain and Dive Master was nothing short of amazing. She ran every dive briefing with clarity and confidence, helping the group navigate through the stunning underwater terrain of the Bahamas with poise, and always made safety feel effortless. Her expertise allowed all aboard to relax completely and focus on the magic of the reef, wreck and drift dives the group the did with ease, all of this with an amazing happy personality that made everyone feel secure, safe and welcomed. Then there's **Frenchie**, whose culinary artistry and storytelling made every meal an event. Each dish was beautifully prepared and tasted like something straight out of a gourmet kitchen aboard the sea -- fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. And between courses, Frenchie's stories added another dimension to the experience: charming, engaging, and perfectly paced for the atmosphere. He turned mealtime and between dice times into one of the highlights of the whole trip. Thanks Frenchie can't wait to see you again soon, brother. Finally, to **Liza** -- what an outstanding host, Captain and Dive Master all rolled into one. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel truly welcomed from the very first moment. She juggled the roles of guide, leader and gracious companion with ease, always attentive to everyone's needs and always encouraging us to get the most out of the journey. Her dive briefings were top-notch, her command of the helm steady and confident, and her friendliness genuine and uplifting. Hey **Liza** in April we are definitely working down to 8 lbs. can't wait to be aboard your ship again, you are an amazing host and leave guests feeling like family. In short, Juliet Sailing and Diving offers more than just a vacation -- it delivers an immersive, thrilling, and deeply relaxing experience thanks to an extraordinary team. Catherine, Frenchie and Liza each play an essential part in creating memories I'll treasure forever. I can't wait to return in April 2026. Highly, highly recommended for anyone who loves diving, sailing, and being in the company of true professionals who also feel like friends.

No other boats at any of their sites other than Sapona, which is a wreck dive just a few miles from South Bimini. I could do a whole review on this site alone. There's something to be said for diving without 2 or 3 other boats on the same site much less anywhere to be seen. Back to The Juliet, she used to be a cargo ship now converted to a liveaboard dive ship with enough room for 12 guests and 6 crew. Upon arrival you will be treated like a guest and depart feeling like family. Outfitted with the diver in mind, it's super easy to get spoiled diving from the Juliet. Super easy giant stride off either side, the best ladder I've ever used to exit the water and 15 ft bar to assist on those 3-minute safety stops. The crew operates like a well-oiled machine with each one doing whatever needs to be done. Unfortunately, we did have a medical emergency on the trip and the crew immediately went into action and got the Coast Guard involved in an air lift operation to get the afflicted passenger to hospital care. All the while they kept the rest of us updated on what was going on. Sorry no pictures, but this was impressive on all accounts. Back to the fun diving part... The Juliet offers Nitrox only diving (they can certify you if you're not already), 3 day and 1 night dive are offered daily, the dives range from 20'-100' and you can lionfish hunt or take photos to your heart's content. We did do a couple of drift dives, but the current wasn't really cooperating. I'd like to give a special shoutout to Jimmy for taking care of all our lionfish and keeping the boat running, Frenchie for making them into ceviche and some of the best lobster bisque ever, Matt excellent DM and the great dive briefings, Lyndsey for her great love and knowledge of 'fish of the dive', John N. for night watch and all the little things, John B. 'the man, the myth, the legend' Dude!!! Bonus, I did get to meet Liza and the boat cats (Rico and Sauve) on the last day of my stellar Bahamas trip. Pro Tip: Make sure your DAN insurance is up to date!

I paid more the second time (read the fine print if you miss a scheduled dive for any reason you are liable for the fees for the next one) and had a private session with a master who actually knew what he was doing and took the time to properly adjust my equipment . I have since been diving with other instructors internationally and now confidently I can say that the teachers at this location are intermediate level, and you probably get what you pay for . Management is only nice at the onset when taking your money, equipment isn't sized properly to fit and the objects in store are overpriced. Be aware that the dives are with another company and the boat is owned by them, also they have a weird and uncomfortable policy that you have to exit the boat with gear and fins on by stepping into the water and climbing up a ladder to return, which is exhausting and impractical for smaller people. Also be aware that they discourage asking for wetsuits even when you may need one. I can't recommend them to first time divers and would have quit if I could have finished the certification with another company. I felt like the whole process is a push to get people through and they really don't have concerns for safety and health. I had strep throat after the first dive and major sinus irritation which was probably a combination of stress and work, but the water leaking in the regulator and oversized bcd with tank that hit me in the back of the head didn't help either. Overa, they are not the best choice for price or convenience of certification, but I cannot comment on their other options.
