I have a small project and decided to go to a tile only store other than a big box store because I hope to have found a better selection. This was my first stop anyways My first thoughts of the shop were small place unorganized well I also did not get greeted or acknowledge few minutes later go by same response The female behind the counter (Melissa) was busy talking to another female well maybe another customer RIGHT? NOT! a friend! I later found out! Anyways I kept looking finally I phone call came in and interrupted the two and the friend approached me and asked if I needed any help anyways I said what I was in for and she showed me a Few tiles by the time Melissa was done with the phone call her friend was ready to leave so I had to wait for them to say their goodbyes before I would get some help from the only employee in the store Melissa. After she was done with the distractions I can admit she was pleasant and I did find a tile and placed an order and paid in full for them she said I could come and pick up my order the next day and she would have it at her location I said that was fine and workout for me because I wanted the tiles for this weekend because my husband had the time to install them over the weekend. She calls me around 3:30 pm the next day Friday and tells me she had an medical emergency and could not pickup my tiles and would not be able to have them in her store till the next day Saturday but I could pick them up myself if I would drive to the Ft. Lowell location I said that was out of my way like 45 min but my husband works near by to that store and I could have him pick them up but I had the invoice and if that would be a problem she said NO that she would call them up and let the know of our situation. My husband showed up to the Ft. Lowell location and apparently she never contacted them or the denied it because they told my husband that they could not give him any merchandise without the invoice. I tried calling Melissa at the 22nd location but was unable to get ahold of her even tho it was still business hours. I send the image of the invoice to my husband so he can show it to Khalid Store Owner but her refused to honor it. Then I called Khalid I was trying to explain the situation but he did not want to listen to me he proceeded to talk over me and tell me in loud tone of voice he was being polite to me...... Really? and that they never give merchandise at the 22nd location that all purchases are picked up at his store Ft Lowell location. I asked him to listen to me I only wanted to get thru to him and let him know that I did not special request to be taken to the 22nd store that I was told to pick it up there and also trying to sympathize with Melissa for her alleged medical condition she had and prevented her from doing what we originally agreed too but he just left me talking and turn over the business phone to my husband and said he no longer wish to talk to me. What a joke of a business! Terrible customer service beyond anything I ever experienced! Stay away from this store! I wish I would have researched and found all the sour experiences other customers have had but didn't do that my fault! read more

My husband and I wanted tiles for our house and we were looking in Phoenix, but we didn't find what we were looking for. We tried many different tile and flooring stores all over Phoenix, but none of them provided much selection or good prices. That was when one of our family friend's told us about SCS Tile. We planned to come down to Tucson, after seeing how good the reviews were on Yelp. Upon entering the store, we immediately saw how much variety and selection they had, as well as the amount of stock they carried. The showroom is very well designed and a quick glance provides many different options depending on what you're looking for. Khalid was very polite and friendly, providing loads of assistance in making sure that we were happy with what we were getting. The house looks so much better now that it's completed, and Khalid's recommendations really helped us. We will definitely come here for any tile that we need in all our future renovations. Khalid was recommended to us by close friends who had been working with him to plan a hardwood install in their house. We reached out to him to get an estimate for doing our two kids rooms and one bathroom . His pricing for the install was unbeatable so we hired scs tile and his crew to do the work. When he arrived he immediately noticed an issue with the transition from the rooms to the hallway hardwood. He then suggested that we get a thicker underlayment to level the flooring and was kind enough to run to Home Depot to pick up the underlayment for us. khalid and his crew were able to do the job within the given time . The flooring was an extremely hard woven bamboo that was difficult to cut and to nail, but the flooring install was done with quality. khalid is courteous, professional and is very responsive to customer inquiries or requests. We were very happy with the finished product and are planning to hire scs tile to do the hardwood installs in our office and master bedroom soon. I went to a number of tile stores. A co-worker suggested SCS Tile. SCS by far has the best prices in town, and a great selection-- not just floor tile, but granite countertops, mosaic tiles, you name it they have it. Khalid, the owner knows his products and is very helpful. Last year I purchased 2000 square feet of floor tile. (competition couldn't beat the prices at SCS) This year I went back for granite countertops-- which were also installed by SCS. (again I shopped around and the competition couldn't touch the prices at SCS) I couldn't be happier with how my countertops turned out. The SCS installation crew arrived on time; they installed the countertops beautifully; and they cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier. I was shopping around for a certain type of tile to remodel our shower. I ran into SCS Tile as I scanned the store quickly to move on to the next store. He gave me options instead of just saying 'we don't carry this type of tile. He seemed very knowledgeable and sincere. I got a good deal on the and the quality was better than the tile we used previously. I went back a couple of times to by more tiles as we remodeled two other bathrooms. I was in and out in no time. They were able to look my invoice to match the tiles and prices. Their warehouse is attached to the main showroom so I was able to get what I needed in minutes. The place is usually full of shoppers since they offer competitive prices. They carry a large selection of flooring, kitchen and bathroom tiles with great prices and knowledgeable staff. We recently purchased a home and needed new Tiles and wood . After taking a look at Home Depot and floor and Decor ,not being satisfied with the options (including how quickly someone could come out and measure), we decided to go to SCS TILE. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable person (Khalid). Once again, another SCS TILE experience! We have been faithful SCS TILE customers--as were my parents--for over 10 years. We have been gradually replacing carpeting with wood flooring and our bedroom was the last room to go. The quality of materials is a given, it's the installation that is critical, so we were happy that khalid once again was doing our installation. He (and his assistants) had done a marvelous job in our hallway and other rooms and this was no exception. Showed up on time, meticulous detail, even fixed the squeaking bedroom floor. Me and my husband wanted to replace the carpet and tiles in our living room, hallways and kitchen with Travertine . When we went to the store and met with khalid back in November , he was been extremely helpful, answered all of our questions and concerns, never pushed us to buy or order any of the products. When he came to our house to get the actual dimensions for the quote, he was been very courteous and considerate. the price that they offered was very competitive, free for carpet removal, The project ended up costing us around $10k for installing. We were not at our house when they did the installation, but when we went to see the installed hardwood floor in person, we were more than pleased with how everything turned out. So, sitting in my home looking at my newly installed tile, I felt compelled to write this review. I am beyond satisfied with my experience at Complete Tile, that I plan on going ahead with my bathroom project sooner than expected. I've had so many bad experiences with other vendors regarding home repairs and upgrades, that this was truly a breath of fresh air. I take great care in recommending places to my friends and family, but with this place, I've told everyone! I even have friends who are into renovating homes that I've recommended go here. The SCS Tile has a great tile selection (better then I thought from looking at their website) and it's great if you want to buy samples to bring home to look over first and then order what you need. I'm super happy with all the information Khalid gave me today! There were things like trim/edging that I would have never thought to have ordered, so it was great to see and hear what the expert had to say/suggest. This place has just the right amount of a variety of flooring. The young guy at the desk was very nice and attentive to us when we came in. Khalid went out of his way to make sure my parents found everything they were looking for. He even gave them a sample of wood to take home to see if it matched the staircase. He also gave them a quote that was much cheaper than the other flooring store we had went to. He was honest and very upfront. This place far exceeds every other tile place in town and have a HUGE selection of tile at very reasonable prices. The guys are super friendly and helpful. The best part is they let you take as many samples as you want -They can be crowded on the weekends, just wander around, one of the scs tile guys will help you as soon as they get a chance. 08/15/2014 We purchased some very cool tile for our boys bathroom and for our kitchen. First of all the tile selection is awesome and very different from everyday tile place. They have a wonderful showroom. I had one of the gals that worked there help me with my tile selection for over a few hours, she (melissa)was extremely helpful and patient. Although there can be some improvement, the prices and convenience of this store is incredible and easily outweigh them. They have the largest selection of material I've seen that is also in stock. I've done 3 projects with their material and paid less than any other place I checked out. The owner​ is really nice.
