My complaint is merely as everyone else claimed the communication and last minute up charge. While the broker seemed to make attempts at securing a pick up the price change was disheartening. He was one of the first to hit me up in which the words "I have a truck ready" were clearly stated which was not the case. All of a sudden my agreed upon price that I secured and paid the deposit on was no longer the price. I was originally quoted a price that was raised to +$1400, hours before my pickup which I came to find out was never scheduled. I pressed them for weeks and then again everyday for information. I understand they are brokers and drivers controls prices- not my first rodeo,but don't accept a deposit on an agreed upon price then aim to leave me stranded as you string me along until you secure a deal. I was trying to get my car shipped using your company. This number reached out to me and gave me a quote of 350 and said that I can lock in a driver if i submit the deposit and sign the contract. This is going approximately 300 miles and said that they will either pick it up the same day or the following day. I agreed, signed the contract and gave the money for the deposit. I asked for an approximate time for pick up and I was told before noon the following day. Next day arrives and I get a text message saying that after looking around for drivers no one would do it for under 650. Bait and switch, I'm out. I said no, please refund my money. Then the broker wanted to negotiate. I wasn't interested. Then he called, we talked, I got upset over all these lies and again asked for my money back. I was told that there was no way I would get it shipped for under 500 bucks. WHY DID I GET A QUOTE, SIGN, AND PAY A DEPOSIT for 350? After more negotiating, basically me just wanting to pay what was SOLICITED to me via text, I was sent this message telling me, "fuc u, drive that old sht yourself for 100 mile and let me know how that feels" Look, I get that times are hard and workers are hard to come by but please, I'm not a jerk. Tell me what the price is, if I can't do it, I won't. But if you know that the price is too good to be true, don't reach out to me and then "Negotiate" (basically telling me to pay more money) and then get upset when I ask for my money back, telling me there are no refunds. I got my refund but what the heck, I'm trying to be rational. Calls me to make it right...for them! On a Friday we started at $1000 for the job with pickup on Monday. No word on monday, so I text and they say they dont have a driver. The following Friday he says he has a driver and sends me a new contract extending the agreement for a week. I refused they modified it to cancel if the car doesn't get picked up. First thing Monday morning, the driver broke down. He had another one for an extra $500 (I.5x original quote). But that one fell through also. I went to a new broker and these guys didn't want to cancel their (expired) deal. They called me and said they wanted to make it right. I told him its too late, I have a new contract and locked for three days. This guy had the nerve to tell me he's not going to cancel since he too has three more days. Received a quote, signed the "contract ", one week before contract date agreement to pick up the car $104 was charged. Then told us they were still looking for a driver. On the day the car was supposed to be picked up we were given a 3 hour notice of pick up and told it would be $500 more. My vehicle was supposed to be picked up for 900 on Monday they said they couldn't find a transporter so it was moved to Tuesday and the cost went up to 1400. I cancelled it Monday evening. This company is a scam! They quoted first for $500 to move a car from CO to CA. When I rescheduled, they changed the price to $600. But naively, I went for it. They were supposed to contact me the day before shipping the car which they did not. On the day of the shipping, they texted me that the driver wanted $900 (I tried to call them but they never answered the phone). And he keeps arguing they are doing me a favor, that they have been working on my behalf for four days and so on.... That the driver is here, but that's the driver's fault, that this is the driver who wants more money and that he is doing me a favor. Even if I was going to pay, I wonder what more they will ask for on receiving the car. I had an issue with the pricing, I signed a contract and then on the shipping date the price was increased by almost 50%. Richard contacted me and was able to give me a refund of some of the additional cost. He was understanding and cooperative. Spoke top a Sarah Addison on the phone, she said no drivers were available that day but to contact her the next day, when drivers would be available. Had a horrible experience with this company. They quoted a price and scheduled my car to be picked up. When the day came for pick up I had to contact them several times to confirm the pick up time. They said they were trying to get a truck and was not able to because it was a holiday. I spent hours on the phone for three days to get try and get updates. Three days later a truck finally came to pick up my car. The truck was given the wrong car type and said it was going to be more because they provided the wrong car. Could not give rating less than one star, but would have. The experience I had was mostly via text and web inputs. I experience 100% scam when trying to book a transport. The contract references a non-refundable $200 administrative fee, even when they cannot meet timeframes and you have to cancel. Worse yet, when booking, they ask for a credit card number up front before even locating a trucking company. I do not believe this is legitimate because when I sent in the signed contract, they said they received it from me unsigned and showed a photo of what I allegedly sent with entirely different terms. This company was quick to get a quote for you, have you sign a contract, and then go find a driver who would accept the quote! BEWARE...THEN THEY CALL YOU TO TELL YOU THEY NEED MORE MONEY TO FIND A TRUCKING COMPAMY/DRIVER!! Driver ends up having a language barrier so CANNOT EVEN GIVE ME UPDATES as to ETA because he was trying to find the word to use. Driver advised he would text me ETA....never did. Finally he contacts the receiver of the vehicle with ETA and doesn't SHOW UP AT 11 PM. Receiver calls to find out updated ETA....He advises 5 hours out!! They reschedule for morning delivery. Upon waiting driver asks receiver how he is paying for balance and advises CASH. He asked if he had ZELLE so he could send $50 ,to him so he could put gas in his truck to get to drop off point!!?? Receiver advises NO! DO NOT USE SAFEEDS TRANSPORT, INC. to obtain a trucking company named Westline Logistics. LLC! We spoke to someone and tried to schedule a pick-up in Tennessee for Friday 3/28/25, and the guy at the time told us he had someone in the area set to pick-up our vehicle in Tennessee on 3/26/25. We paid for service, then my husband flew out early to meet their schedule. The day of pick-up we hear nothing from company. I call the guy we spoke with was very rude, wouldn't allow me to speak, he said give him an hour he would have the car picked up. We go to almost 4 PM we don't hear anything again, my husband calls, the guy who helped us originally again got rude with my husband and tried to change the price. The guy ended up calling me back and stating the car couldn't be picked up until the evening of 3/27/25 for a higher price, I stated the time frame did not work as everything was moved from the Tennessee residence and the flight back to Houston for my husband was scheduled for 7PM. The guy there began to yell telling me I needed to understand how they work, and no one wanted to pick up the car for the price they gave us unless the driver they chose was uninsured. Worst experience ever for a company to have you change your schedule only to screw you over, and have you paying way more money in the end.
