This is probably the best pizza in town. We don't order pizza often, but since trying Scratch Pizza it is the only one we order. The flavor is right on point, it the closest to New Jersey pizza I used to have when we lived there. Really good flavor and you can't beat the price. A few weeks ago we decided to get pizza from this place since it was recommended by some family members. We had just arrived from a trip and wanted to get some take out. Yes, my husband got to the restaurant close to closing time but as soon as he entered he was not received properly. When he asked if they were still open the response he got was "yes we are but, it's close to closing and do you really want to be that guy". They would rather close than sell you food. They lost quite a bit of profit since we were not ordering just one pizza. I've worked retail before and know about staying open for a last customer, and that was not for food. We arrived on the fourth of July. Long line messy tables, seemed like only one guy was working the front. Ordered pizza, salad, and cheese bread. Salad came first and it was good! Great size and it was fresh and delicious. Our drinks came after the salad. Then the pizza arrived and it was delicious!!! Best I've had in awhile!! The cheese bread came after the pizza which was also upsetting as it was supposed to be an appetizer. All in all the delicious pizza and food outweighed any complaint in house. Tried this place a few weeks after it opened. The place seemed pretty clean. The girl that took our order was nice, good customer service. We were not impressed with the pizza at all. In my opinion, nothing special about it. Costco pizza is way better. I decided to try scratch for the first time, it's fairly new to the neighborhood. I must start by saying I was very disappointed in the poor quality food and overpriced menu. I ordered a small pizza, eight wings and a side salad $27. Not too bad if it would taste ok. The wings were terrible and the salad was even worse. The wings taste as if they were boiled. The pizza wasn't very good. I've had better pizza at Little Caesars. I asked for a thin crust pizza, and was told that they couldn't make it (even though their name is "Scratch Pizza"). The customer service was terrible. I sat at the bar with a friend and had to ask an employee to wipe down the counter. Also, I asked two different employees to change the TV by the counter/bar to change the channel to the football game, and they never did. Hopefully their food and customer service gets better. Instead of taking my comment and trying to make their restaurant better, staff leave comments on my post and bash me? What a terrible business plan! They're called "Scratch Pizza" and can't figure out how to use less dough to make a thin crust pizza? That's sad! Now this with some of the best pizza that I have had in a long time! They are using great sauce, high-quality cheese, and the meat toppings were excellent. One of the best things about it was that the pizza arrived at my table so hot that I actually burned my mouth on the first couple bites! That is how pizza is supposed to be! Maybe I just remember the pizza tasting better all the other times we ordered, but this last time I ordered, it wasn't the same. The crust was chewy. I wonder if it was cooked all the way. The reason I think this, is about 3 weeks ago we ordered from here another time, and we ordered the pepperoni rolls, and the dough wasn't cooked thru. So I had to finish cooking them at home. First of all my family and I got scratch pizza we ordered at a certain hour and did not receive our food for another hour and some minutes. The pizza was mediocre. We orders two jars of soda and that was around the range of 6$ my family of 8 they literally gave us a size of a 2 litter cup expecting us to refill every two minutes. The hardest part about finding a good pizza is a good crust. This place has it. Unfortunately the pizza sauce just doesn't pop. But the pizza is still good, but the toppings and sauce need a little more zest and salt in my opinion. Maybe some basil. Any ways the spot is cool, clean, professional. Good staff. Completely loved this place! Great specials! Was $2 beers the night we went! Got pizza and cheese bread and draft beer! Pizza was fresh! Homemade tasty bread, even enjoyed the crust when we usually don't eat crust! Great pizza sauce, very cheesy, and toppings were fresh and authentic! Picked up two XL pizzas last night, one was mushroom and artichoke, the other was pepperoni and sausage. $20 for two. Great deal. Pizza was full of flavor, very tasty. Great crust, fresh, with a bit of a crunch, sauce had some chunks of tomato and flavored with garlic. Kids 11 and 15 loved it, as did my wife and I. The pepperoni was tasty, but I'll try the andouille sausage that they offer as the one I tried is the small crumbly type, which isn't one of my favorites. I have visited the Norco location repeatedly before and LOVED it! The Riverside location seems to have more indoor seating space, which I like. I also like that this location serves beer!!!! Beer and pizza are the way to my heart! Add chorizo and potato to that pizza and I'm yours forever! Both locations were great, and I didn't notice a difference in quality. Which is a HUGE deal. Sometimes second locations don't exactly match up to the OG location. That is not the case for scratch though! So, kudos. read more

Finally was able to try this place. The pizza was great! It didn't seem too heavy and the pizza had lots of flavor. My boyfriend and I split the margarita pizza.
