It was a pleasant experience. I found this place whole planning a progressive happy hour crawl. Scratch Goods has a happy hour special as well . It's worth checking out !

We had a blast making scrubs as a group--it was such a relaxing and creative activity. I appreciated how we could really take our time with it, and the oil base the store uses is amazing. Scratch Goods is definitely a win for fun, self-care, and quality ingredients!

I had a good time and my skin was looking and feeling Gorg after class. However, one hour for class felt a bit rushed and $65 was a bit much ($80 if you want to use an extra jade roller). We left with mask brushes as souvenirs. The oil cleanse and hot towels were my favorite part of the experience. BYOB and non-alcoholic bevs available for purchase. I think the website needs more FAQ about how to prepare for class and what to expect. The influencer reels/TikTok's were not informative enough. Should I wear makeup to class? What happens if I wear lashes? Will I need to bring a headband? Etc. Us anxious girlies need to know these things ahead of time.

My friends and I came here to pamper ourselves and learn more about natural organic skincare. One thing to note is this establishment allows you to bring in your own bottle of wine to partake in during the activity! Super cool stuff. We arrived and were seated together at a table for four. You're provide the mixing bowl and tools needed as soon as you arrive to your station. It's very interactive per the speaker guiding the class - so feel free to go with a group or solo and make friends! My favorite part of the class were the hot towels provided to allow the product to soak into the skin while also serving as a cleansing cloth. One critique I would offer is light music to play in the background during quiet moments of the session to really set the ambiance. The only reason I offer four stars rather than the full five is because of the price. I feel $65 is steep for you to pamper yourself and only go home with a brush.

I was gifted a facial session here for my birthday and it was such a cute gift!! The whole space is absolutely adorable. When you walk in you see the goods they sell which is a handful of different self-care items and the swings. There are paintings where the space features different artists and you can purchase the paintings as well so don't miss this! The whole experience was very zen and super fun to do with your friends or family. You are given directions on how to build your mask and you get to pick the type of mask that goes on your face based on your skin type/what you skin needs. Tip: Scratch Goods holds different events that you can find on their website!

Had a wekend pampering sesh with scratch goods mask bar Had the best time learning & diy-ing masks with my friend on a Saturday mask bar does small batch skincare with the first every diy mask bar such a fantastic weekend activity going through their cleansing oil, steaming, clay masks, face mists, face oils and butters, and gua sha I don't think I've ever learned about beauty routines properly so this was also a fast track to educate myself about each step of the way. This helped me add certain steps to my routine 1First started with every daze konjac - that my friend said is sold in Costco. The peach flavor was AMAZING And my friend swears by it. She'd say, "I swear my skin looks better the next day" 2Then the cleansing oil is really nice and creamy. They say this should be the longest process in your routine. 1 pump for normal wear i.e. sunscreened face, 2 pumps for if you have makeup 3The clay mask came next after a hot towel light steaming process. it helps with blood flow and gentle exfoliation.  You can mix from 3 liquid mixers cherry juice ( vitamins + antioxidents) , Coffee ( caffeine+brightening acids) or walnut milk ( pressed inhouse + Great oils ) You can also choose from 3 clays: Sea kelp ( minerals + sulfur that's calming), Matcha ( brightening + blood flow), charcoal (cleansing) 4I swear my skin felt really amazing the next day, especially because we spent 5min+ steaming our face with the masks and worked through their 6 different oils/butters depending on your skin: lash & brow oil, lavender mint "all over butter", Dark matter coffee eye butter, face oil, Heavy face oil (avocado oil), face butter 5I ended up buying a gua sha as well, as we learned about the 120+ lymph nodes we had our body and how it helps reduce puffiness and increase blood flow , moving the tool outwards and downwards (starting with the neck, then the chin on the rigid side) So nice! Book it with friends

LOVE LOVED this place, located in the west loop. If you want to try something different, and love skincare this place is for you. You are literally making masks from scratch - natural products it's a mask bar. Was about an hour, felt like a real spa with, great staff, owner, and a really great gift shop. Good for ladies day, date day, bestie dates! They also offer yoga on Wednesday's!

Lovely and relaxing experience. We booked the private mask bar for our quarterly women's night, and the experience was wonderful. This isn't an inexpensive experience, 90 pp with booking fee and tip, but it was worth it. It's byob, so we had time at the beginning to socialize a bit and enjoy our drinks. Since we were coming from the office, it was super helpful that they had a small storage closet for us to store our bags and sweaters. The facial involves multiple steps (An oil cleanse, mask application, lash and brow treatment, moisturizing, and jade rolling) the host walks us through every step at a good pace slowing down to accommodate our chatting and slower group members. The host also took time to explain the benefits of each step. The vibe was cute and relaxing with lights strung up and everything setup and ready to go. I would definitely recommend this as a unique outing experience with your people!

I was initially introduced to the brand via an article that described their products as "food grade". Fast forward to maybe a couple of years later & I'm a loyal customer. I can't speak to all their products but I'd be comfortable in stating that their "tea tree cleansing oil" is the best face wash I've ever tied. EVER. The physical shop tends to move around however I've been told their permanent home will be ready soon. I've purchased a gift voucher for the mask class & the recipient told me that had a decent time there. I once had a "faulty" mask from here & after an email I was given a hefty store credit. Also after a brief conversation with the owner she assured me that I can reach out with any questions or concerns & also that she'd be willing to offer suggestions which are helpful because many products come with instructions on how to properly use them.

A wonderful small business to support! I heard about Scratch Goods through a charity auction and had the opportunity to get quite a few products. Overall, they all were great - some just weren't for me but it doesn't mean they were poor quality! We got two dryer balls which make an absolute world of a difference and are very reasonable price wise. The jade roller and nail brush are great quality and something I now use weekly. We got two scrubs, the lavender mint and the lemon charcoal. These seemed small when I got them but a little goes a very long way and the lemon charcoal smells so fresh and is my personal favorite. The deodorant stick smells very nice but for me personally it doesn't glide on the way I'd like it and the sweat protection isn't ideal. The body oil is a very nice smell but I have sensitive skin and it doesn't seem to react well with it but I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a subtle way to smell really nice.

Wow! The 60-minute Mask Bar experience is incredible. The Fulton Market studio, which will relocate on May 20, is intimate, bright, and beautifully decorated with greenery. It's a spectacular space with all products made in-house. Everything is food-grade and pure, so there are no chemicals or dangerous ingredients in the products. Our mask bar was guided by Ashley, who was so fun and personable. When we arrived, she checked our coats and we stepped into some slippers. She directed us through each step of the process, from using tea tree oil to remove makeup, mixing mask powder with fresh pressed juices, mask application and steam towel removal, and applying face oil at the end. It's truly divine. As a bonus, you get to keep your application brush after the treatment! All products are for sale, so you can take home anything that you enjoyed. I purchased the jade roller and tea tree oil to bring home with me. Get your $38 tickets on the scratchgoods.com website; you can follow them on Instagram (@scratchgoods) to get updates on availability and enjoy their impressively curated stories. I highly recommend this for a birthday party, bachelorette party, or self care day! It was a wonderful experience and my skin feels nourished and healthy.

Such a cute spot! I had signed up for a candlelight yoga class and it was so good. The room was set up in such a calming way with candles everywhere and holiday decor. I also loved the playlist that the yoga instructor had on. I can't wait to be back and try the face mask bar.

This is clearly not an issue with staff, but management who is trying to have minimal staff to save money. I'd highly encourage everyone to move their prescriptions to Amazon and have them delivered. What was once an incredibly frustrating experience 2-3 times a month is now something I no longer think about and is stress-free. Had the BEST experience at the Chicago Dental Studio in West Loop!!! Like many, I dread visiting…read morethe dentist for routine cleanings, but my experience here was stellar (and now, my teeth are too!). From start to finish, I felt taken care of by the entire team and was highly impressed by their warmth, transparency (re: insurance pricing), and keen insights on my dental health. It has taken me quite some time to reflect upon this before writing a review. The Chicago Dental…read moreStudio is a decent facility overall, but I could never in good conscience recommend seeking dental care here due to Dr. Bosworth. The first issue that occurred is when I had a dental procedure performed. After injecting lidocaine, it took some time for Dr. Bosworth to come back and check on me. During the beginning of the procedure, he left the room to see other patients and didn't return for almost an hour. At that point, the local anesthesia had worn off and I had to undergo another unnecessary painful injection. It is quite obvious that Dr. Bosworth was juggling multiple patients at one time. This seems to be to maximize profit rather than actually focusing on providing quality care to each individual at a time. This was a scheduled appointment and it is never acceptable for a patient to have a needle stuck in their mouth, and then be essentially ignored for an hour, and then have to be stuck again just due to the wait. The second and much more concerning issue was regarding a crown that was placed. I had a root canal performed years before. Dr. Bosworth placed a crown over this area. Several month's later, I started having pain. When I saw Dr. Bosworth, he assured me that could not be the case since I should have no sensation in the area with the nerve already removed. I mentioned this several additional times and each time Dr. Bosworth wrote me off and ignored my concerns. I came to find out that there may sometimes be accessory nerves that may remain after a root canal and could absolutely continue to cause pain. I mentioned this to Dr. Bosworth yet again and he essentially told me that this was not the case and that my pain was from something else. Fast forward to a year later and I saw a different dentist as the pain was getting worse. They performed imaging and confirmed I had an accessory nerve in place that was indeed infected. The infection was too significant and had been occurring for so long that they would not be able to drill through the crown and tooth to treat the infection. I ended up having to spend thousands of dollars and go through several painful procedures to have the tooth extracted, then months later have a post placed, and then ultimately have another crown placed. I was informed by my new care team that this all could have been avoided if the accessory nerve infection was treated initially. This is despite me laying out the exact diagnosis for Dr. Bosworth. It is concerning that he lacks this medical knowledge despite his training, and even more concerning that this is the case after his patient had handed him the exact diagnosis. The pain and cost that I sustained due to Dr. Bosoworth's negligence is something I will always regret. I should have never gone to this dentist. I can't change what happened, but I would like to warn anyone thinking of seeking dental care here.

She's the only practitioner I trust with my skin, and this visit was extra special because I had my first more advanced treatment: an Erbium Peel laser. Afterward, my skin looked like I had a mild sunburn and felt warm, but I was still comfortable enough to meet family for dinner. Jennifer explained exactly what to expect and how to care for my skin, and she was spot-on (as always). By the next morning, the redness was gone, and my skin felt tighter, smoother, and glowing. For someone like me with super sensitive skin, Jennifer always finds the perfect balance--pushing just enough for great results without overdoing it. This treatment was the ideal first step into something a little more intensive without jumping into Botox or injectables. If you haven't visited Lustre or booked a treatment with Jennifer yet, this is your sign. She's been doing this for years, continues to expand her knowledge, and is amazing at recommending the right products--favoring organic options while also understanding when active ingredients make sense.

I had been to several consultations before I met with her, but I knew she was the one within 30 seconds of meeting. She was very clear and reasonable about my anticipated results. She listened to what I wanted and clarified what was realistic. I appreciated her honesty and it gave me a better understanding of what to expect. I scheduled the surgery with her nurse, Katie, (who is also phenomenal) and saw Dr. Cobbins a few weeks later for my preoperative appointment. I genuinely felt she was as excited as I was. She was very clear about what to expect the day before surgery, day after surgery, and follow-up instructions. She answered every single question and was available by phone, if I had any additional questions after I left. The day of surgery, I felt incredibly supported by Dr. Cobbins and Katie who have excellent bedside manner. I remember waking up after surgery with Katie sitting by me and I felt so relieved. The receptionists even entertained my mom while she was waiting for me to be discharged and I appreciate the kindness. I saw both of them again a few days later and Dr. Cobbins even met me on the weekend (when their office is technically closed) to remove the drain. The results were nothing less than perfect. I was so pleased with their size and shape, plus the scarring seems really minimal. Dr. Cobbins has also continued to follow-up consistently and has been available for additional questions/concerns. I don't think I will be able to express how much I appreciate her and her staff. Don't go to any other surgeon!

I was naive at the time but I really wanted a little bit added to my bottom so I went in for a consult. I was also really skinny (like model skinny) so even then she told me oh yeah I've had patients your size or smaller do procedures by me, I wish she rejected me or at least did a less risky procedure since her skills didn't match the words I heard. My body was so perfect in every way before this procedure (just wanted a little boost on my bottom). I remember I said "I heard some peoples shoulders get bigger she was like "Oh no that's not true at all." She did Lipo to my stomach which barely had much fat, inner thighs, and back. Anyways 6 yrs later and I'm struggling with my body image. I've lost my confidence, my skinny bbl doesn't look great, can't find a solution because I have skin laxity on my back and stomach, scarring/tethering (again this is from the aggressive lipo she did and how she used the surgical tools), Lipo fibrosis on stomach and back and yes the upper back looks bigger. I followed all the instructions of wearing the compression garment and everything. The problem wasn't the aftercare instructions I perfectly followed, the problem was the poor surgical technique. She did aggressive lipo on me, took out too much fat because I was thin and ruined the look of my skin. I now have 2 rolls on my back that I never had before my procedure and I feel always bloated for some odd reason no matter what I eat healthy or not even though my diet didn't change. I only gained about 10 pounds (still at a weight women would love) but even with that if the surgical skills were good the body would grow out nice and even, it wouldn't look botched. I wish she rejected me and told me to come back in a year or 2 if I want something permanent after I try something temporary. I wish she told me thoroughly and openly what kind of problems can come up (this was only briefly discussed and none of the problems I have now were discussed as potential issues after surgery). I wish she gave me a temporary option or smaller procedure not as damaging as a first solution to see what it would look like. I didn't receive any other options. I think plastic surgeons (especially ones who've had botched outcomes from their work) need to give a couple options and really think about if the contouring will look nice with each option so the patient can have a good long term outcome and more people will trust them for procedures. Dr. Cobbins took away the most thing that made me confident back then and damaged my body. I am struggling in every way imaginable because of this procedure done by Dr. Lorri Cobbins. The most perfect parts of my body were ruined because of horrible surgical technique and now I am left grieving it. I struggle every day to look for a way to fix it and I'm too afraid to go to someone else that may further damage me. I don't take photos anymore like I used to, I don't try on clothes when I shop like I want to. I can't look at myself in the mirror the same way. Please if you want a better/different look try temporary cosmetic things first so they go away if you don't like them and you don't have to live with the permanent result of a botched procedure.
