STOP PRESS - DO NOT GO HERE FOR GLP1. DONT EVEN THINK about it. I have been put through the ringer. They delayed two weeks after promising delivery in 2 days. They do not return calls. They do not deliver what they promise. Every time I called (about 6-8 times plus many texts) I got nowhere. I went into the office in person. I finally received the vial of medication WITH NO SYRINGES. When I called back - again - the run around and then they asked me to hold while they looked into it and then hung up. JUST DONT DO IT. I do not even have instructions for how to inject this. ITs my first time with a vial and syringes! This is NEGLIGENT care and DREADFUL customer service. Ordered July 15. I see Mia for Botox and filler, and she continuously does incredible work! She's attentive and truly cares about how you want to look and feel. After a few flawless tox appointments, I decided to get under eye and cheek filler and told her I wanted it to look natural and enhance my natural features. I was pretty nervous, but she talked me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable for the whole session. I love my injector, Nadia, at Pure Med Spa. She has great customer service and is fantastic at her job, she communicates well, and is consultative. She's also done repeat great work for me and I've recommended to others. I have quite the opposite to say about the customer service as a whole at this place. I've never encountered this level of confrontation at a medical spa in my life, let alone something that is this personal/requires privacy. I feel rushed, talked down to, and like a burden every time I try and get clarity from them. This is to a point that I'm not sure I can return based how uncomfortable I am working with the staff. It's really unfortunate, because Nadia is fantastic. I really hope they do something about their customer service at the front desk, scheduling, and clarity on promotions they have - considering I get over 5 texts a day from them. They also numbed me before the consultation when I stated several times I wanted to see what the injector had to say first. I also prior to the appointment asked for their prices and information on how the consultation and injections worked back to back. With all that in mind, I didn't even get my lips done, so now I have numb lips and no filler. Update from my previous post: I was burned in my second session for laser hair removal. Paid $1599 for the total of six sessions and am asking for a refund for the 4 remaining sessions I have NOT used. I was told to speak to Dr Kam. Called him multiple times in October. He said "machines don't make mistakes, humans do" and openly admitted it was his staffs fault and then started blaming me that he would have to fire her. I told him my intent is not to fire someone, it's to get my money back because I'm not comfortable coming back to a place that burned me. He responded with "I don't tell you how to do your job, don't tell me how to do mine. I provided pictures of the burns and he said he'd look into the refund. I never heard back. Called yesterday 12/18 and Dr Kam picked up and said to share pictures again. He was actually really nice on the phone this time. Today 12/19 I called back and a woman picked up pretending to be Dr. Kam. I said you're not Dr. Kam and she told me she is Dr. Kam and to "shake the confusion out of my head". Probably his wife or something pretending to be him to try to scare me. I called pure med spa to confirm that Dr. Kam is a man. I've never dealt with an owner who is this INSANELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm not even asking for money back on sessions I've used. It's literally on 4 sessions that have not been used. I've gone here in the past several times for Botox and never had an issue. However, this last time I came in, Jezmine carelessly marked my face where she was going to inject and rushed through. I always get very natural looking Botox because I'm not trying to look like I have Botox, which I informed her. She does her thing, all the while criticizing me telling me how I need filler and other stuff, despite me telling her I wasn't interested. I can ignore the upsell. Two days later, my smile starts to droop on one side, like bad. It's forced my mouth into a permanent frown when neutral, and made me have and majorly crooked smile. It's embarrassing and I've completely wasted my money. I now have to walk around with a droopy smile for the next few months because Jezmine rushed through my treatment and placed the Botox in the wrong place or maybe way too much in one spot. Pictures are only 4 days post treatment, but I look ridiculous when I smile. I also have trouble eating and speaking without looking like I've had a stroke because the corners of my mouth point different directions. Jezmine needs more training!!!!! I would never see her again or recommend her, even if the treatment was free. read more

This is definitely a 5 star experience. They provide a wide range of services. They also remove moles and conduct biopsy's the same way your doctor's office would so they are truth worthy, and not some pop up shop. The office is clean. The staff member's are polite, communicative and focused on customer service. Their pricing is surprisingly low for the area and quality of service they provide. Lastly, they are so caring. I had to have a mole on my face removed for testing. I was scared. The doctor went out of her way to calm me down. She understood that people avoid medical care out of fear sometimes so she didn't rush or act impatient, I am grateful. I have referred family and friends and they all had the same experience. Reading the negative reviews on here I was nervous to book lip filler, but decided to give it a try because of the promo pricing. I'll recap my experience at the Chicago location. Personally- I am so happy with my lips and my appointment went smoothly. I booked online via their website on a Friday for the following Monday. On Sunday I got a text and email to confirm my appointment. Monday I showed up 15 minutes early to my appointment and they took me back. I agree with other reviewers that the receptionists aren't very friendly, but I think it's just their demeanor? They weren't "smiley" or "welcoming" but they still said hi and checked me in. As for the lip filler, I was with Julia who did an amazing job. She answered all of my questions and went slowly. She numbed my lips, took before and after photos, and I'm so happy with my results! We did 1 syringe and she didn't push me to get more, we both wanted a natural result. Only negatives-- they did not give me an ice pack to help with swelling afterwards, which is standard at other places I've been. They also did not have Aquaphor or lip moisturizer to use at the end. Also, Julia didn't officially introduce herself as a nurse so I wasn't entirely sure of her training or qualifications which made me nervous initially. Then I paid at the front desk. They had a promo for lip filler; I also had an Allé reward for $75 off Juvederm, and an extra $20 off for Allé points on my account, so the total ended up being a great price for filler. The really weird "red flag" here was that at the end of checking out, the screen asks if you'd like to leave a tip (which I declined!). This is SO strange and not the norm at doctors offices or medical spas. So odd. I know some people leave tips after facials so I could maybe understand for that, but NEVER after cosmetic procedures like filler, Botox, lasers, microneedling, etc. So weird and unprofessional in my opinion. OVERALL POSITIVES: 5/5 stars for Julia who did my lip injections, I'm very happy with my lips and I'd definitely go back to her again. Their promos are great, especially if you have additional Allé rewards. The office was clean and cute. For me, booking online 3 days in advance was super convenient and I had no issue. NEGATIVES: They lose a star for the front desk receptionists. Smiling and welcoming your patients in the door really makes a difference! It also is standard practice to introduce yourself with your title NP/PA/nurse/etc. Also no ice pack or lip balm/moisturizer afterward, and for asking for a tip at checkout. I bought a Groupon for dysport which I have been getting injected since they invented the product. I have NEVER had a complication with dysport or Botox and have used them for over 25 years. But Pure med spa managed to cause several serious complications. I have total drooping of one eye to the point where it won't open and my vision is blurry. The toxin was not evenly applied and one side of my face is drooping. I am starting to question if what they used was actually Dysport or some cheap Chinese knockoff. PLEASE be careful and insist on seeing a sealed box of your toxin before allowing anyone to inject. I am kicking myself for not doing that. read more
