10/10 experience!! Cali held me down from day one--got me scheduled, helped me pick the perfect treatment, and was so patient when I needed to switch things around last minute. And Karen?! BABY, she is THAT nurse! She made me feel so comfortable, we were laughing the whole time, and my first treatment was a whole vibe. I'm officially locked in on my skincare journey and can't wait to go back! read more

I bought lip injection package and asked the closest location to Lincolnshire. the dumba$$ told me Evanston (52 minute drive) I double asked if she's sure because that's far away, she said yes. Anyway day of appointment I learned there's one 7 minutes away!!!! I made the 52 minute drive and couldn't find parking and Evanston has scary roads and I was honestly scared to crash so I just went home, I called to complain that they made me drive 52 minutes when there was a location 7 minutes from me. The brat sighed over the phone because she was annoyed I was complaining. i told her to schedule me at the one that's 7 minutes from me. Guess what she did?! She scheduled me at one that was 30 minutes away!!! I am beyond frustrated with this place. No help, they don't care, and apparently hate their job. read more

Complaint Against LaserAway for Unethical Business Practices and Unauthorized Charge On October 25, 2025, I had a scheduled 11:00 a.m. laser hair removal appointment at LaserAway. I arrived on time, was checked in by the receptionist, and taken to a treatment room. Before the procedure began, a nurse practitioner joined by video to review my health history. When I disclosed that I have cataracts, she immediately ended the call and said I was not a candidate for treatment. I left the facility around 11:15 a.m. without receiving any service. Before booking, I had a detailed phone conversation with an intake representative who strongly encouraged me to proceed. I fully discussed my health history, yet was never told cataracts would prevent treatment. Afterward, I reviewed their policies and found no mention of cataracts as a restriction. Despite being denied service, my card was charged $249.00 later that same day (around 1:15 p.m.). I have called multiple times to request a refund but have been repeatedly transferred or ignored with no resolution. I believe this constitutes unfair and deceptive business practices. The company continues to charge customers for services they do not perform and fails to provide clear medical exclusions in advance. I respectfully request a refund of $249.00 and I think the Better Business Bureau should review LaserAway's policies and billing practices to prevent similar incidents for other consumers. read more

If I could give this place less than one star, I would what a joke beware! So so unprofessional high-pressure sales. Never again! Just google the reviews and it's not just one location. It's all of them. read more

Average experience with laser hair removal here. This was not my first rodeo with laser hair removal, so I had some idea of what to expect going in. Prior to LaserAway, I had gone to a walk-up shop (twinned with a lash lounge location) that mysteriously closed, leaving me with one remaining session in my package. Once the dust had settled on that experience, I decided to go with Laser Away for my hair removal needs and ended up booking sessions (leg touch-up and full package for underarms). The good: I felt that the pricing was reasonable, especially for the full package, and the location was convenient, allowing me to keep up with my appointments, and not bail. The nurses were efficient and personable. The bad: When going online to cancel/reschedule an appointment, I would immediately get several calls on my cell from a California phone number, which I am surmising is their headquarters/central booking. This seemed both invasive and unnecessary. The puzzling: It's weird that I wasn't able to go in for an in-person consultation before I went ahead with my package of services. Once I agreed to the package, my credit card was immediately charged. They were also somewhat pushy about wanting me to tack on extra services when I was laser focused (pun intended!) on what I wanted done. In short, I know that it is only a matter of time until I need a touch up appointment, but I will most likely be going to a cosmetic surgery practice to have this procedure done, as I feel like the results would be longer lasting and have less of a conveyor belt vibe. read more

Signed up for LHR with LaserAway after seeing their SummerSplash sale. I was very quickly contacted by Jared, who was a wonderful representative for the company and extremely professional! He was very informative and made me feel comfortable and excited about this investment in myself! Thank you, Jared!! My first session was extremely simple and quick. Way less painful than waxing. I would definitely recommend going to LaserAway if you want to be hair-free! read more

Phenomenal - well educated on the products & timely with appointment management. I have been to dozena of appointments (for hair removal, microneedling, clear & brilliant, Botox) and have had great experiences across the board read more

Today, I received exceptional assistance from RN Sarah, and I deeply appreciated her help. I had gone in for Thermage and Botox treatments, but I was unaware of how painful Thermage for the neck could be. I was in tears and even screaming occasionally, but Sarah kept encouraging me and helped me to get all the necessary shots. I asked her to push me to the max, lol. Despite some pain, I was determined to make the most of the session. Although I have had good experiences with other RNs in the past here, I really loved Sarah who provided exceptional assistance. I have no desire for plastic surgery, and I prefer a natural look. Sarah was understanding of my concerns, and, most importantly, I felt really comfortable with her and could trust her. Megan at the reception desk was very pleasant, as usual, and she is an excellent resource for suggesting options to consider or explore if you have any concerns without making you feel pressured. I really like this place. p.s.) Could you kindly provide the previous version of the stress ball instead of the hard rubber ball? Please... read more

I signed up for a laser treatment package here. I used to get waxes (hard wax and sugaring) and let me tell you this is NOTHING close to the pain. I literally cannot really feel the laser. They are all very professional, it's clean, and I feel like I am truly seeing results (I just had my second treatment today). This is a bit more expensive than other laser treatments in the area but so far I feel like the value IS worth it. read more

I really enjoyed my Laser hair removal treatment with Kasi! She was very sweet to even offer to shave off the hair off my back as I couldn't get to some of these areas myself. She is really kind and always makes an effort to make the process smoother and pain free! I really recommend LaserAway for hai removal services. read more

I finished all of my treatments and I would say that out of all the areas I got done my legs were a disappointment because they still look the same. I guess my hair was too thin for the laser (I normally get them waxed). It's upsetting because I paid a lot for these treatments. They tried getting me to sign up for another package to treat my legs as a "touch up" but all my hair is still there, not sure how it's considered a touch up. I am not going to throw my money away again, I'll just go back to waxing. Also it was a hit or miss on who did my treatments. I'm not sure if we are suppose to communicate what level to put the laser on or they're suppose to know. I wish I would have been able to get all my treatments done with the nurses I mentioned before because they were great. read more

Absolutely terrible experience - zero consideration for the time and investment of its customers and terrible customers experience in trying to resolve the issue... After wait times were consistently irregular for scheduled appointments (often waiting 5 - 15 mins to be seen), I was made to wait for more than AN HOUR past my appt time during my last session. During this time, the team didn't have the consideration to let me know they were running late but instead, when asked, just kept telling me that it should be soon. When I had finally had enough, they told me that the appt time had been changed without my knowledge, and that they were ONLY running 45 mins behind. After an initial conversation to Jordan, the manager, they completely refused to address the issue or even have a conversation with me. Would HIGHLY consider rethinking a different location or provider if you're going to be investing in any treatment with them because they don't seem to be able to deliver on their commitment in a respectful manner. read more

Stay away! I had an ingrown hair that became infected. I contacted LaserAway to alert them of my medical issue and to stop my payments. I called this facility as well and they were very difficult to communicate with from not returning my calls to saying "we'll put a ticket in for you" and weeks later I'm still making payments for services I'm not getting. I would avoid this company at all costs. Go to a dermatologist for laser hair treatment instead. read more

Absolute worst. Where do I begin - 1. The women doing this aren't nurses. The whole branding about nurses doing this is false 2. It took them 6 session to let me know they had a numbing agent.. for all the money i paid you could have told me that before the first session. Absolutely unprofessional! 3. I have two more sessions and a free fire and ice facial and they wont take my call or have me scheduled. The whole business and place in Rivernorth is sketchy. Do your research! read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. This company is very predatory and I would've avoided them at all costs if I had known better. They supposedly take you through a financing contract before you step foot into the place or even CONSENT to the services. I went through the process for laser tattoo removal but changed my mind at the very end of registration. I never signed the last contract because I read it fully lmao it said I can't sue them. I was like okkk that's weird, why would I want to sue them? So basically they aren't liable if they burn you. I did a little research and apparently they're out here burning people. Especially black people. You can literally see it in a review just below mine. As dark skinned women we have to be careful because this is new technology that is available to us and these people literally do not care and will burn you. Anyway I decided against signing after reading some reviews and they basically told me it didn't matter and I was still responsible for payment. Lol they opened a credit card in my name and I have no choice but to pay it off. Since I don't want any of the other services they offer. Just avoid Laser Away all together!!! Please! read more

Do not reach out to laser away unless you want to be called and texted daily and weekly AND from different numbers so you can't even block them from contacting you. Laser away is wildly annoying and doesn't take no for an answer. read more

Went to LaserAway Naperville. They have a rotating group of nurses and front staff minimal to no continuity. I had sensitivity issues for the lip and chin area and was told that I could come back for treatment on another day. however, this was never honored and they claimed that once i do part of the face, it counts as a single session. I spent many attempts at reaching out to their customer service liason Brian Dickerson who was both inept and inconsiderate with the management of this issue. I would not recommend Laser away due to poor customer service and overall lack of communication regarding "the fine print" of the packages purchased. read more

I just had my first hair removal laser treatment at River North location. The staff is so friendly and nice. They were very patient with rescheduling my appointments and answered all my concerns and questions at every step. They're quite professionals yet super friendly. They use the best technique in the market and I have. Already started to see the results in just one treatment. I would really recommend LaserAway. read more

GO TO SPADERMA FOR HAIR REMOVAL. I have been to both LaserAway and SpaDerma and the difference is unbelievable. The pain is 10x at LaserAway with worse results for the same price. I went to SpaDerma after years of going to LaserAway and I am so angry I didn't find SpaDerma sooner. And the best part is...SpaDerma doesn't make their employees blow up your phone with sales pitches! read more

I requested a video consultation for laser tattoo removal just to get some info and get a feeling for what pricing looked like after seeing an ad for discounted pricing on Instagram. I joined the video call that was sent in the confirmation email and waited for 15-20 minutes but no one joined. I finally got a call from Jared about 20 minutes past and he asked if anyone had called me yet. Do they not keep track of this or schedule ahead of time? He had me send him a photo of my tattoos via text, then immediately said it was take 10 sessions. He went on to answer a couple questions and then provided pricing. He first told me it would cost $189 per month for 18 months and treatments would be every 8 weeks. He immediately sent me a credit application for $3400. I said thank you and I would think about it and get to him as I had requested the consultation only to gather more info since I've never looked too far into it. He immediately got hostile and said I would never find better pricing anywhere and that anywhere else they would probably burn me or leave a scar. He asked what he had to say or do to get me to apply right then and there. He seemed annoyed that I still wanted to wait and said he could offer me a discount at $153 per month for 18 months. That is still $2,754. I said either way I would have said I'd have to think about it since 10 sessions every 8 weeks is a commitment. This guy was practically begging me to sign up for the credit application and pay at that exact moment. This whole call lasted only 9 minutes but it was evident this company is a giant scam. Stay far away from this company and go to a real doctor. read more

I went for my first laser hair removal treatment today. I was very anxious but I got lucky and was taken care of by Sam. She was so down to earth , reassuring and friendly. Sam made sure my pain wasn't too bad and made sure the process was quick and easy. There was a miscommunication about a promo I purchased and the girl in the front said she would add the treatment to my plan without a hassle. I have been a LaserLove Rewards program for more than a year now and I will never ever switch to another medspa ever again! I have gotten so many great discounts and deals because of their loyalty rewards program, it's AMAZING! I've gotten multiple services at the River North location inclusive of Cheek fillers, Lip Fillers, Xeomin (Forehead, 11's Eyebrow Lift, Orange Peel Chin, and a Lip Flip), Clear and Brilliant, Laser Hair Removal for Underarms and Brazilian. I haven't needed to shave for months and when I do, the hair is extremely fine. Highly-recommend LaserAway for their laser hair removal because I bought an 8 pack of laser and down to my last 2 and it's been months since i've made an appointment because their technology actually killed my hair follicles meaning never having to grow hair at that spot again. As for my fillers and xeomin...it's phenomenal. They have not dissolved and have permanently changed the structure of my face into what I desired, either way -- xeomin is so much better than botox and way more affordable. read more

This was a great experience! It started off with a Zoom call with Kelly F. who was able to recommend the perfect set of facials for me to do by seeing my face on the webcam. I decided to buy a package of clear + brilliant facials and had my first appointment this week at the River North location. The staff was very kind and welcoming. A nurse performs the laser facial facials due to the type of treatment it is. The nurse who performed my facial was gentle and kept my distracted by talking to me during the facial. I was numbed before hand to alleviate any pain. So far I'm very pleased with LaserAway! read more

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!! And iv'e never even walked into the store!!!! I began to sign up for more information regarding pricing, and quickly realized I would need to set up a consult call. Because of this, I quit the sign up without hitting submit. Later that day, I received a call from a young man (i'm assuming he works at the front desk) asking when I would like to schedule my consult call. I politely told him that I would not like to set up a call, as I read a few reviews and could not pay for the service at this time. I expected a typical customer service response such as no worries please call us back if you change your mind in the future. But this was genuinely the RUDEST person I have ever spoken to over the phone. He was almost getting mad at me that I could not afford it and was being extremely passive aggressive, almost talking to me as if I were 12. I have worked in the customer industry myself, and if my boss ever heard me speaking to a customer this was I would have been fired immediately. Later that day, I receive a text confirming my 6:15 PM consult call for the next day. I was extremely confused because I nicely told the man that I would not like to set up a call. I tried to decline the confirmation on the google calendar. A few hours later, I receive a call from the same man to confirm this consult call. I then told him that I had spoke with him earlier, and had said I would not like to set up a call and was extremely confused when I got this calendar message. He followed this (again in the rudest way possible) with "well then how would that be showing up on my end sweetie you must have scheduled this". After a while, I felt as though he was trying to pick a FIGHT with me after telling him multiple times that I could not afford the service, never set up this appointment that had miraculously been scheduled, and that I would NOT like to make an appointment. I can't even explain this man's nasty tone of voice in writing. I truly felt like I was bickering with my younger sister I was at a loss for words. Long story short, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! read more

I'm a new client and I have been loving my experience so far. I am starting to see the results and look forward to every treatment.

After a bad experience elsewhere, I was very hesitant to try LaserAway, but a couple friends had been coming here so I thought I'd give it a try. I had some tell me that LaserAway was a bit more expensive than other places, but worth it, and I'm here to echo that. Everyone there is super nice, and the nurses are the ones performing the different procedures. They usually have some promo going on, so you can try out the service at a reduced rate before deciding to go for all of it. Highly recommend. read more

Laseraway might offer great services, but they are crooks! No company on the planet should be allowed to charge your card before services rendered. Then, if you change your mind, you cannot get a full refund! How unethical and desperate is this company!!!! No services were rendered! my card was charged anyway and I'm told no FULL refund! The Laseraway rep told me there was nothing care credit could do. I signed nothing! I authorized nothing! They are crooks! read more

I just completed my sixth session at LaserAway River North and first Instant Glow Facial. I'm loving the results and the team is excellent. Each Nurse has been great and takes extra care to make sure I'm comfortable throughout the service. I have sensitive skin and shaving is sometimes difficult. I believe these appointments have really helped improve my skin overall. I also really loved the results of the Instant Glow Facial. It's been the most uncomfortable session since cold air isn't done until after the laser (versus same time on other areas I've had done) but again, my Nurse was great to communicate and check in throughout the session. I have two more regular sessions left but I definitely see myself coming back for facials again. Highly recommend! read more
