The Lincoln Park location, under the specific direction and leadership of Jasrielle, restored my patience in this franchise. I am a 42 year old African-American mom who saved $3,000 (paid timely) for their promising hair removal treatment. 10 painful sessions later, over 50% of my leg, under arm and facial hair remained. Before starting and throughout, I was kindly assured repeatedly that skin color, age, hair texture, etc. would not effect the promised results of 70-80% hair removal yet after ongoing dialogue, pictures, phone follow-up, emails, and office correspondence culture became so uncomfortable and difficult, I was exasperated when their final offer was to re-invest MORE money in their maintenance package even though the promised results were never delivered. 2 additional treatments were comp'd for face, under arm and thigh, but not lower leg and Jasrielle, saw through this absurdity and single handedly brought resolution. In the follow-up session that she coordinated alone, her location provided more kindness, clarity, excellence and results then the entire 10 prior treatments at neighboring Chicago locations. I am grateful, indebted and relief that this chapter is now closed. The service that was offered was not overly expensive, but still provided great value for money. The cost was fair and in line with other services, and I was confident that I was getting the most out of my money. The staff were friendly Jocelin, jas & Nurse Nikki. They are knowledgeable, and made sure that all my questions were answered. They were also able to provide helpful advice on the best ways to use the service, which was very useful. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, which was important to me. I did not feel pressured or rushed into making a decision, and the staff were happy to let me take my time. The service that I received was of a very high quality. All the equipment was in excellent condition and was well maintained. Even before booking my appointment I had a bunch of questions and Jocelin Palafox Rojo was beyond the sweetest person I have ever spoken to because she was able to answer all my questions, broke down the cost of it all and made it so easy for me to understand. The amazing clinicians at laseraway gave me such a great first laser experience!! I had never done laser hair reduction and they made me feel comfortable about reducing hair in such a sensitive area. The receptionists are always so kind and happy to listen and answer any questions in detail.
