I've never left a review before but set up a profile just to share my thoughts on LaserAway in River North Chicago. I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience with LaserAway. I had searched around and debated where to go for a while, and I am beyond glad I chose LaserAway in the end. I had looked into laser hair removal a year ago and immediately received a call from a LaserAway representative after taking a survey on the website. At the time I found that a little off-putting, but now that I was actually serious about making an appointment, let me tell you - receiving a phone call from their team was very helpful. My representative is Annette, she is the sweetest and walked me through every step of the process from getting me discounts, to setting up an appointment and helping me arrange my payment method (I chose to do installments). She also gave me her phone number, and I can text her anytime with follow-up questions. I have heard LaserAway is more expensive than other options, but from my experience it is definitely worth it even just for the customer service alone. They are incredibly professional and although I was nervous to start my treatments, they made the entire process painless (down to the laser treatment itself). I opted to get the numbing cream, and I hardly felt any pain in even the more sensitive areas. For areas like arms and legs, I personally didn't even need the numbing cream because the cold air that they blow on your skin masks any pain from the laser. I saw Rachel and she was super-fast too, so even if I did feel a little pain, it was short lived. I was clearly nervous because it was my first time, and Rachel was very sweet and professional, she eased me into it. I would definitely go back to her! I also received an extra $100 off because my friend referred me (they have an awesome referral program, message me if you're interested in a referral and we both get $100 off ). I accumulated quite a few "LaserLove" rewards points and was able to get a super discounted botox session. It was also my first time getting botox and Rayma was the provider I had. She did a great job helping me feel comfortable and maped out my face to inject in exactly the right spots. I am loving the results and will definitely be getting this again (Plus, Annette hooked me up with 16 free units, so it's a no-brainer). They have a policy that if anything seems uneven, you can come back in two weeks for touchups. In summary, LaserAway is worth every penny both for the excellent service and quality results they provide. read more

Unfortunately, I had the worst experience at the River North Chicago location. I have paid thousands of dollars for services and products and it has been well worth it. My problem is with the poor customer service at this location. I took months off from treatments because I had knee replacement surgery. I was so excited to return. During my first return visit, I noticed that the reception staff had changed. No big deal - so I thought. After my amazing treatment, I purchased a travel kit and more treatments. Things were great. Well, when I was packing for my trip, I unboxed all of my new products. The serum C bottle was broken. No matter how I turned it the top would not open. No biggie. I called to let them know and someone told me "no problem' and to bring it back. I told them that I would simply bring back when I returned for the second set of treatments that I purchased. Weeks later, I bounced into LaserAway to check in and attempted to give the non-working product back for an exchange. Not only did the receptionist not even bother to reach for it, she questioned me on who I talked to and continued to tell me that they do not take products back. I kindly stated that I purchased this and as she could clearly see that the bottle was full and would not open. She was dismissive and said that I would need to call the Manager. There was nothing that she could do. Absolutely stupid! I had my treatment and left. On my way out, the receptionists had a good laugh OUT LOUD at my expense. I called the Manager Monday. She was not working that day - even though I was told to call her on Monday. I called customer service. They transferred me back to the location. One of the rude receptionist answered "yeah, what can I do for you". I explained AGAIN. The receptionist then told me said to call back the next day. I told her to have the Manager to call me. I AM THE CUSTOMER! She stated that she would leave a message on her desk. After nearly two weeks, no return call. I called customer service for the second time. I, for the 4th time, explained the situation. I was assured that the call would be escalated and that I would receive a call back. Nothing! This is EXTREMELY disappointing. I will be cancelling all treatments at this location and will be disputing the charge for the kit with the product that cannot be opened. Poor customer service! I will never return to or recommend this location. read more

I have been at LaserAway twice this week for two separate procedures and couldn't have had a better experience! Lauren L was great at setting everything up for me and explaining and answering all of my questions about what to expect before, during, and after. I got my lips done and coolsculpting as well. Melissa took care of me for both procedures and she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable and really helped ease my nerves. As soon as I got in the room for lip fillers she explained where she was going to focus everything and why, and what would best enhance my lips and I really loved that they clearly take the time to really make sure you're happy with the results. I could not love my lips more, they look amazing and are so much more full while still looking natural as well! I also just got coolsculpting done this afternoon. I wasn't too sure what to expect and she was wonderful explaining what to expect and what was happening with it. I cant speak on results yet for that one but the experience itself was very easy, a little mildly uncomfortable in the beginning but once numbed up I had a great time watching tv and relaxing. I definitely will be back!!! Everyone was so sweet and friendly and the office itself is beautiful and I definitely will be recommending LaserAway to all of my friends and family! read more

kasi and the entire staff at laseraway in river north are amazing! they are professional, pay attention to detail, answer all your questions, make you feel extremely comfortable- especially with treatments like cool sculpting, which is one treatment i had (kasi performed that for me!) she went above and beyond to make sure i had everything I needed. she made sure i knew what was going to happen. i was cold, so she gave me extra blankets. i asked for a snack, so she even got me a banana! they have water, tea and coffee. i've also had other cool sculpting treatments there before and they were all very pleasant and they treated me very wonderfully. even the front desk staff (megan - and forgive me the other beautiful young lady's name!! because she deserves credit!!) makes me feel as if i am a friend - not a client. i never feel pressured to buy anything - but omg. everything is so great! i love my results!!!! oh, and the botox is amazing. they mark where they will put the injections and do not give more than you need. that's what i love - they do what's best for you and what's right. by the book. i will never go to another medspa ever again. can't say enough about the river north location. it's my jam!!!! love you gals!!! read more

I visited Laseraway River a north a couple weeks ago for cool sculpting. I was relieved to find everyone at the place very warm, welcoming and professional. Nadia was absolutely a pro and really worked with me to position the applicators for maximum effect. My body is petite so she was able to do full abdomen and flanks with 5 applicators rather than the 8 estimated. The rooms are comfortable but could use an extra stool or chair to get your shoes and clothes on and off. Other than that I'm so pleased to report that the equipment was state of the art, the procedure works, and I am able to apply my unused applicators to a different procedure should I desire! Thanks so much for your awesome establishment Laseraway! I was skeptical about what I would call vanity procedures but I am so lucky I ended up coming here and I can't stress enough how easy going and invested all of the staff are. I think this procedure is 100% worth it. I am thin active and small but I am now 57 and I've had a stubborn tire around my middle for almost ten years! It is fading and truth be told- started to a few days after the coolsculpt. Fascinating technology. Thanks for making me feel at home Nadia and Laseraway. I'll be back! read more

I just moved from San Francisco to Chicago and i went for my first procedure here . My beauty nurse's name was Asil she was super polite and very careful and professional , she helped me with more information about the lip filler or the redness reduction procedure that they offer . Very helpful and she gave me advices for the type of my skin. Very happy with they treatment she gave me that day !!! After I've had some not that impressive experience in The Marina location in San Francisco, I was very happy to book my next appointment in The River North location in Chicago!!!! Another very helpful person on the front desk was Megan she was super helpful and polite for checking my financial information and sending me more details about it, also both of them by recommending me LA's products and how exactly I can use them in my daily routine face care! Btw their products are amazing keep my skin clean and fresh especially the Vitamin C serum it is my favorite I also use the sunscreen cream and its great for base as well or just to wear it solo! On yesterday I had my first ever laser way appointment and Ellie was the specialist whom did my services she was very professional very informative she comforted me through my fears because again it was my first experience with the services that I had done the atmosphere of the office was very professional very inviting customer service was great I would definitely recommend laser way for anyone who is planning to get themselves some self-love treatment again Ellie was phenomenal and I made sure that I booked my next appointment around her schedule because first impressions are everything and she definitely left up great one on me and besides being the first one to touch my face and be able to teach me through new things about my skin is of course the person that I want to be able to encounter at all times so yes I would definitely recommend laser way again it was great love the experience besides it was a long overdue self-love session that I needed for myself I felt like I came across laser way because it was a meant to be situation so I also felt like I came across Ellie because it was a meant to be contact she did an amazing job read more

I have been a LaserLove Rewards program for more than a year now and I will never ever switch to another medspa ever again! I have gotten so many great discounts and deals because of their loyalty rewards program, it's AMAZING! I've gotten multiple services at the River North location inclusive of Cheek fillers, Lip Fillers, Xeomin (Forehead, 11's Eyebrow Lift, Orange Peel Chin, and a Lip Flip), Clear and Brilliant, Laser Hair Removal for Underarms and Brazilian. I haven't needed to shave for months and when I do, the hair is extremely fine. Highly-recommend LaserAway for their laser hair removal because I bought an 8 pack of laser and down to my last 2 and it's been months since i've made an appointment because their technology actually killed my hair follicles meaning never having to grow hair at that spot again. As for my fillers and xeomin...it's phenomenal. They have not dissolved and have permanently changed the structure of my face into what I desired, either way -- xeomin is so much better than botox and way more affordable. read more

I had a Wonderful experience at Laseraway! From the moment I walked in the door the two girls at the front desk were so nice. This was my first time here & I didn't know what to expect. Had an appointment for Botox & Protocol is that you FaceTime with a nurse practitioner & go through prior questions that you fill out on line regarding any meds that your taking. I was so comfortable talking to her. So then I meet Jazzy a Nurse & Lead Clinician, In Northbrook location. She was so Sweet & Patient with me. She took her time & asked me like what areas on my face did I want Botox & what were my concerns. She's definitely a Professional & knew exactly that I was on the Conservative side. She's Amazing! She made me feel comfortable & was very gentle & caring. It was literally the Best experience I had & I will definitely go back! Can't wait to share with my friends and family! Just went in for my 2nd treatment at LaserAway and have been super pleased with how quick and easy the process has been for all of their services. A few weeks ago, I had my forehead lines treated with xeomin (and the staff was careful and conservative with my injections to make sure results were natural) and I just went in a few days ago for laser hair removal with Rachel. I won't lie, laser hair removal isn't painless, but Rachel prepped me beforehand on what to expect and made the process as quick as possible while remaining thorough. She also made sure I had hydrocortisone applied immediately after and sent me home with extra packets so that I didn't have to make a trip to the drugstore, which was really nice. I've been meaning to write a review since I started going here!! I had my third treatment at Laser Away-River North and have already recommended them to so many people. From the first treatment, where I had a million questions and was a little nervous, the staff here answered everything and made me feel at ease. It's seriously been a breath of fresh air every time I've had an appointment. They always ask how my treatment is going & genuinely want to know! My treatment with Rachel yesterday was so quick & easy and she is so sweet. I got a BOGO deal back in December so I'm getting my upper lip and under arms before my wedding in October and I have a few more treatments. They reminded me I also get a free clear and brilliant facial with my package so I'm saving that for a few months. I really truly love this place so I want to get my legs next!! read more

I loved my Lazer treatments with Jezmine! She is attentive and caring throughout the whole process. She just did my full face, underarms, and legs in under 45 minutes. Jezmine was constantly checking if I was comfortable and if it was ok to proceed. I am about midway along with the face and underarms which equal a higher laser intensity sometimes feels like something spicey hit your skin. She would let me take little breaks and moments to breathe, such patience. She explains the entire process before we start and provides the after instructions. A good reminder of what I can and can not do after treatment. I have had her now twice for my treatments and loved it! I would love it if she could complete all of my treatments moving forward. I wish there were more Jezmine's out there in this line of work! You are so awesome! read more

I've been a long time member of Laser Away and being in my 40s looking like I'm in my 20s or 30s is because of the treatments and support I receive from the amazing staff and wonderful facilities. I go to both River North and Bucktown now for the last 4 years or so and I am grateful to them for the professional care and personal support they give to their customers. All of their staff members are great and you can tell everyone is so happy working here and love their jobs! I don't have a specific favorite of aesthetician or nurse because everyone is equally fantastic and meticulous in their own ways. Shout out to Megan for being a great listener and beauty guru to all! I had my first visit on Sunday. I didn't know what to expect but I will let you know the services was exceptional. Quick, Painless, Fast and Easy! I had to move my appointment back 15 minutes because of Downtown Traffic it wasn't a problem. The receptionlist was so pleasant . Parking was so convenient within steps from the establishment. Laser Away was a beautiful clinic when you walked in, it was like a pretty spa. Then when you go into your room they were clean and comfortable . The procedure was painless. I felt the cold air I never felt any heat. The entire experience was amazing. Even hours later when I home there wasn't any issues. No redness , swelling, itching or anything. The River North Team is very friendly and professional. They aim to please. The location is very inviting and chic. After getting initial services, I quickly added other areas of concern. I have tried just about everything when it comes to hair removal such as waxing, electrolysis, laser, plucking, threading, and shaving. Their way has proven to be the least invasive, time efficient with noticeable, lasting results. They welcome feedback and are very responsive. I'm very happy with my experience. Rachel was very accommodating and made me feel totally comfortable during my Brazilian today. I couldn't believe how fast and effective the treatment was. It beats getting a Brazilian wax hands down. They were understanding and very knowledgable about the treatments offered at LaserAway. When I walked into my appointment, I was greeted by an amazing staff including the nurses. From the time I called to make the appointment to my follow-up calls after the treatment, I was treated like there only customer. From the receptionist to my "Laserway whizz" Nadia, everyone was so helpful, thorough and accommodating. Nadia has a wonderful personality. She took her time in understanding what I wanted to achieve and address all of my concerns while putting me at ease with the process. Every session I had so far for my laser app, I always have had a great technician. This time I had the wonderful Jezmine. She has such a great personality and made me super comfortable. Made sure that I was ok during the whole session. Literally felt like I known her for a couple years. Definitely recommend this location, in addition to any sessions they provide.
