We came to Lip Lap for a bridal experience and it was such a unique, fun activity! The process is so creative -- you start by choosing your finish (satin, sheer, or matte), then a scent (sugar cookie, mango, rose, etc.), and finally the shades you're drawn to. From there, the team swatches and tweaks until it's exactly what you want. I loved being able to try the colors on, give feedback, and end up with a custom lipstick shade that felt so me. Once you've got your perfect match, you get to name your lipstick, pick a case, and even choose the font. It made the whole experience feel super personal and memorable. I'd definitely come back to make bundles or gifts -- such a cool idea for friends or events. We were about 10 minutes late, and since they're super busy, the staff rushed us along and reminded us a few times about timing. It came off a little rude in the moment -- but the experience overall was still fantastic. Highly recommend!

Fun place to go with a friend to treat yourself to a customized lip color session! Allow an hour to try different finishes, shades, fragrances, colors and coverage options. The lipstick uses cruelty-free ingredients and you can choose a name for your personalized lipstick, which is engraved on each tube. Street parking is available and walk-ins are welcome; however, make an appointment so you don't have to wait. A little pricey, but worth it for the experience!

Had the best fun time here! Employees were super nice and knowledgeable. I gave her purple nude brown as my inspo and somehow gave me exactly what i imagined in my head on the first try it was 5 of us and the employees were super patient and helped us adjust colors to make it perfect with what we envisioned. we all did the lipstick lipgloss combo and there were alot of options to choose from for the scents and packaging. engraving was fun too! quality of the lipstick and lipgloss is also good, nothing crazy but decent quality for the price and experience.

I watched the videos on the site and was interested. How many lipsticks do I own that just aren't quite what I want?! Way too many. So I decided to quit doing that and go. I saw the prices but how much more money am I going to waste in what I don't like?! I made an appt and was greeted when I walked in. Forgive me for not remembering the young woman's name but she was great. I knew I wanted a gloss and a lipstick and maybe something else. They have packages or you can make yours up which I wound up doing for my 3 products. She patiently went through each created item and didn't get flustered when something did not appeal to me. I had a general idea what color I wanted and we kept going til the color was what looked good. You may be surprised what looks good vs what you like! I asked what kind of training she had to do this. There are cosmetologists and those that majored in color theory who work there. Who knew such a thing existed but it I was all about it. The cylinders are good quality with magnet closures and colors to choose from. I had mine engraved with names I made up on the spot. You can watch the machine do its magic. They bottled my gloss and encased my color choices. I can reorder anytime as my profile is saved. No more guesswork and I am grateful. I can't wait to go back in the spring for the lighter colors! I will be bringing my friends who are from out of town as they were jealous of my experience and they don't live near one.

I made reservations for my mom and I on the hottest day of the summer. We receipt multiple calls and messages to ensure we were still coming. We arrived a few minutes early, but were able to get prepped until our specialist was with us. There were other parties too, and we are all in the same general area but working with different specialists. The entire process took about an hour, deciding what finish we wanted, colors, scent, packaging, and final touches. It was really fun and they store your info so you can reorder the same color once it finishes. Over all very fun experience!

This was so much fun! My girlfriend treated my twin and me to this experience. We had our own custom lipsticks made. You can get matte, satin or like a glossy sheer lipstick. They also have glosses and balms. It was very cool to see how the colors come together and try them out. Our color expert, Michelle, was so patient and informative. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who likes makeup and wants to experiment. I feel like I have my signature shade now!

Visited today Sunday afternoon, Social media made it look like such a fun experience. It was cute but not really interactive, I was thinking it was more of a hands-on experience, the store team members do all of the mixing. The service was good and very personable. There were a variety of color combos and scents available, but at this price point, I could purchase a few lip colors at a beauty store. Also ladies be advised there is no bathroom inside for customer usage. You can use the hotel bathroom across the street.

Had the BEST experience at the Chicago Dental Studio in West Loop!!! Like many, I dread visiting…read morethe dentist for routine cleanings, but my experience here was stellar (and now, my teeth are too!). From start to finish, I felt taken care of by the entire team and was highly impressed by their warmth, transparency (re: insurance pricing), and keen insights on my dental health. Thank you to the wonderful Mel, Jacinta, and Dr. Bosworth for all your hard work and professionalism - I look forward to coming back!

It has taken me quite some time to reflect upon this before writing a review. The Chicago Dental…read moreStudio is a decent facility overall, but I could never in good conscience recommend seeking dental care here due to Dr. Bosworth. The first issue that occurred is when I had a dental procedure performed. After injecting lidocaine, it took some time for Dr. Bosworth to come back and check on me. During the beginning of the procedure, he left the room to see other patients and didn't return for almost an hour. At that point, the local anesthesia had worn off and I had to undergo another unnecessary painful injection. It is quite obvious that Dr. Bosworth was juggling multiple patients at one time. This seems to be to maximize profit rather than actually focusing on providing quality care to each individual at a time. This was a scheduled appointment and it is never acceptable for a patient to have a needle stuck in their mouth, and then be essentially ignored for an hour, and then have to be stuck again just due to the wait. The second and much more concerning issue was regarding a crown that was placed. I had a root canal performed years before. Dr. Bosworth placed a crown over this area. Several month's later, I started having pain. When I saw Dr. Bosworth, he assured me that could not be the case since I should have no sensation in the area with the nerve already removed. I mentioned this several additional times and each time Dr. Bosworth wrote me off and ignored my concerns. I came to find out that there may sometimes be accessory nerves that may remain after a root canal and could absolutely continue to cause pain. I mentioned this to Dr. Bosworth yet again and he essentially told me that this was not the case and that my pain was from something else. Fast forward to a year later and I saw a different dentist as the pain was getting worse. They performed imaging and confirmed I had an accessory nerve in place that was indeed infected. The infection was too significant and had been occurring for so long that they would not be able to drill through the crown and tooth to treat the infection. I ended up having to spend thousands of dollars and go through several painful procedures to have the tooth extracted, then months later have a post placed, and then ultimately have another crown placed. I was informed by my new care team that this all could have been avoided if the accessory nerve infection was treated initially. This is despite me laying out the exact diagnosis for Dr. Bosworth. It is concerning that he lacks this medical knowledge despite his training, and even more concerning that this is the case after his patient had handed him the exact diagnosis. The pain and cost that I sustained due to Dr. Bosoworth's negligence is something I will always regret. I should have never gone to this dentist. I can't change what happened, but I would like to warn anyone thinking of seeking dental care here.

She's the only practitioner I trust with my skin, and this visit was extra special because I had my first more advanced treatment: an Erbium Peel laser. Afterward, my skin looked like I had a mild sunburn and felt warm, but I was still comfortable enough to meet family for dinner. Jennifer explained exactly what to expect and how to care for my skin, and she was spot-on (as always). By the next morning, the redness was gone, and my skin felt tighter, smoother, and glowing. For someone like me with super sensitive skin, Jennifer always finds the perfect balance--pushing just enough for great results without overdoing it. This treatment was the ideal first step into something a little more intensive without jumping into Botox or injectables. I was naive at the time but I really wanted a little bit added to my bottom so I went in for a consult. I was also really skinny (like model skinny) so even then she told me oh yeah I've had patients your size or smaller do procedures by me, I wish she rejected me or at least did a less risky procedure since her skills didn't match the words I heard. My body was so perfect in every way before this procedure (just wanted a little boost on my bottom). I remember I said "I heard some peoples shoulders get bigger she was like "Oh no that's not true at all." She did Lipo to my stomach which barely had much fat, inner thighs, and back. Anyways 6 yrs later and I'm struggling with my body image. I've lost my confidence, my skinny bbl doesn't look great, can't find a solution because I have skin laxity on my back and stomach, scarring/tethering (again this is from the aggressive lipo she did and how she used the surgical tools), Lipo fibrosis on stomach and back and yes the upper back looks bigger. I followed all the instructions of wearing the compression garment and everything. The problem wasn't the aftercare instructions I perfectly followed, the problem was the poor surgical technique. She did aggressive lipo on me, took out too much fat because I was thin and ruined the look of my skin. I now have 2 rolls on my back that I never had before my procedure and I feel always bloated for some odd reason no matter what I eat healthy or not even though my diet didn't change. I only gained about 10 pounds (still at a weight women would love) but even with that if the surgical skills were good the body would grow out nice and even, it wouldn't look botched. I wish she rejected me and told me to come back in a year or 2 if I want something permanent after I try something temporary. I wish she told me thoroughly and openly what kind of problems can come up (this was only briefly discussed and none of the problems I have now were discussed as potential issues after surgery). I wish she gave me a temporary option or smaller procedure not as damaging as a first solution to see what it would look like. I didn't receive any other options. I think plastic surgeons (especially ones who've had botched outcomes from their work) need to give a couple options and really think about if the contouring will look nice with each option so the patient can have a good long term outcome and more people will trust them for procedures. Dr. Cobbins took away the most thing that made me confident back then and damaged my body. I am struggling in every way imaginable because of this procedure done by Dr. Lorri Cobbins. The most perfect parts of my body were ruined because of horrible surgical technique and now I am left grieving it. I struggle every day to look for a way to fix it and I'm too afraid to go to someone else that may further damage me. I don't take photos anymore like I used to, I don't try on clothes when I shop like I want to. I can't look at myself in the mirror the same way. Please if you want a better/different look try temporary cosmetic things first so they go away if you don't like them and you don't have to live with the permanent result of a botched procedure.
