We love coming here for donuts on Saturdays. This is not the only thing we love about Scratch. They have a large assortment of delicious baked goods such as macarons, cookies, cake pops, and even their own garbage plate inspired desert plate, called a scratch plate! The staff is always friend and patient when our kids are indecisive because everything in the case looks amazing. We enjoy the outside seating during the spring and summer months. It's always a pleasant visit to Scratch.

I love donuts so my friend brought us here when my husband and I were visiting her. We tried the Chai and Lemon Cookie Donuts. They call them donuts, but I'd call them cronuts according to what other places call this style donut. Both were great, but the lemon cookie one was hands down my favorite. I'm not usually a lemon dessert person, but this was done so well.

I ordered a cake for a baby shower. The cake was beautiful and well decorated, but the flavor was awful! Noone could eat it. Thank God we had another cake to eat. If you are looking for a cake to take pictures with then I recommend this bakery their designs are beautiful but I also recommend you having a second cake for eating purposes. I have to say that this cake was the mosy disgusting cake I ever had in my entire life. I gave them one star for decoration and another for customers service because the truth is that they are also very friendly.

First time we have ordered a custom cake. I figure a kid turning 18 during a pandemic was a great reason! They are super busy so it took awhile to submit my order but after that it was great. We communicated via email. They walked me through all the options and I sent them some ideas (thanks google image search) and they delivered perfectly! We'll definitely return in the future

Absolutely delicious traditional, vegan, and gluten free treats in a convenient location! The best chocolate chip cookies you can buy and the most beautiful cakes for events and parties. Doughnuts, macarons, sugar cookies...what else could you want?! I went to a tasting with my sister for her wedding, and was impressed that they can mix and combine so many flavors in one cake. As they are the most popular bakery in town, you will pay a pretty penny for your wedding cake - no doubt. But, with that, you also get the peace of mind that they do this every single weekend and know how to keep things delicious and delivered on time. They've moved their operation since then to Russell St, and this location is awesome. I've never been upstairs but the downstairs area includes a few chair, swag, and the case! Last time I went ewas for their fifth birthday and the pickings were slim, but I am SO glad they are now able to do cake by the slice, in the event I am having a cake hankering and don't feel like going to Apogee. Cheers to you and your fifth year in action, Scratch!

Yum!! And adorable! Stopped to check it out after following them for some time on instagram and wE were not disappointed. Their brew Ed coffee was rich and flavorful- perfect accompaniment to the Carmel brioche roll we shared!! Only drawback is the restroom - you have to leave the bakery - walk outside and around the bUilding to the side entrance as it is in a. Shared space

Carmel, chocolate almond and champagne?? (Sure didn't taste like it) cupcakes

I'm sorry, but I was not a fan. I came here on a Saturday, and there was one person in front of me. Someone asked me right away if I needed help, and I said I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I just looked for a little bit. I got a few cupcakes, and I specifically asked if they had chocolate on chocolate, and she told me no. They only had one chocolate one, and it had cinnamon frosting, so I didn't want that one, so I picked 3 and went to cash out. As the girl was cashing me out, a different girl came from the back with a whole bunch of cupcakes to put on the shelf. And there was chocolate on chocolate! There was also what looked like chocolate peanut butter, which also would have worked. They were not busy, and I specifically asked for a certain kind of cupcake. Why not at least ask if they had what I wanted? And it was literally 2 minutes later that this person put them on the shelf. She had already boxed up the other 3 I had picked, so I didn't have them switch them, but that really irritated me. Now on to the cupcakes. I tried some of all 3. I had gotten a vanilla cupcake with chocolate almond frosting. It was awful! The cupcake tasted like a muffin, which is my biggest pet peeve, and the frosting had a horrible alcohol taste. It was just awful. I'd rate that one with a 1. The second one, at least I was told, was a vanilla cupcake with champagne frosting. This is the one I bought for myself, and I was really excited about it. I love champagne frosting. Well, this tasted nothing like it. It tasted citrus-y, like lemon or orange. which by the way, I do not like. And the cupcake again tasted like a muffin. This one was also awful. Not quite as bad as the first one, but also not what I was told it was, so I will rate it with a 2. The caramel one was actually fantastic! The cake part tasted like a vanilla cupcake (imagine that!) and the frosting was wonderful. It was sweet, and actually tasted like caramel, and was just a great cupcake. I'd give that one a 5. So, I'm not sure what is going on that 2 of the cupcakes were awful and one was great. They have signs saying that they are gluten free, vegetarian, etc, but I don't know which is which. I am vegetarian, so that really wouldn't affect the taste to me, and I've also had gluten free before and they tasted fine. I don't know which was which, but like I said, 2 of these were awful. And they really need signs on the shelves showing the flavors. I'm pretty sure the "champagne" cupcake was not champagne at all. And when someone asks for a specific cupcake, maybe someone should actually check to see if they have one...

Ordered a gluten free vanilla with earl grey tea icing at $4. Moist, unflavorful cupcake. Limited assortment of baked goods and the girl who waited on us was short, in her demeanor and details of the flavors. Disappointed as we heard good things from others.

I've ordered a naked cake and buttercream cake for my baby shower and a birthday cake for my son's birthday and both times the quality was delicious and the artistry was beautiful! Great customer service in communicating what I wanted before ordering and I think their prices are reasonable. I will continue to order from them and recommend them!

I've stopped in a few more times and tried more treats (slice of traditional cake with vanilla chip cake and mint chocolate frosting, vanilla and raspberry mini cupcakes, several Scratch Plates) and all have been so good! Scratch Bakeshop is quickly becoming my favorite bakery!

Their sugar cookies and million-dollar shortbread are delicious. I hope the million-dollar shortbread becomes a regular case item.

Scratch is always hit or miss for me. I have had in a variety of places a number of times and sometimes I enjoy it and sometimes I think it's okay. At this point I've tried many of the things on their menu but mostly there macarons. Sometimes there nice and soft and sometimes they fall apart. Either way this is a women owned business they make absolutely beautiful cakes and they cater to people with different allergies. I will continue to support them wherever possible.

Cute packaging with supports inside! No messy cupcakes!

Delicious!!! Had a carrot cake cupcake and omg it was the best carrot cake I have ever had! Worth the money. The cupcake was fresh, moist, and the perfect balance of sweet. The packaging had supports in it so the cupcake won't fall over. Excellent as a gift or surprise for someone you care about. It will definitely make their day!!

It was a pastry that I was after and Flour City answered my call. There were a selection of pastries and pretzels in the case and loaves of bread neatly displayed on shelves against the wall. The cashier was very friendly and answered my chocolate snob questions, ensuring that I was not going to get milk chocolate or a sugary chocolate spread in my croissant. Not only was my croissant made with semisweet chocolate and a nutty not too sugary pistachio spread, but it was also flaky and buttery as a croissant should be AND I was given a warm out of the oven one rather than one from the case. Sorry, no pic and I devoured it lickety split; but, I did take a breath to offer my dad a taste. What a delectable treat it was! My dad enjoyed his soft pretzel.
