Great service and delicious food. The breakfast burrito was so good! My husband loved the pancakes! Not too sweet. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

Walked in for Saturday brunch. Had to wait for 10 minutes before getting seated. It has a small outside seating area. Inside, framed pictures of places in the Middle East hang on the walls. It has a bar that offers different cocktails. Mimosa was okay. Food was alright. The Flop included 2 eggs with bacon or sausage, and 2 pancakes. Prices were reasonable but service was extremely slow.

Scrambled Burger with mushrooms, fried onions and a fried egg. So good!

If you want seriously delicious food that's high quality, you need to eat here. Maybe you'll eat every meal here your whole trip! We happened to try this restaurant because it was near us and we needed outdoor seating because of our dog. The people coming out told us it was really good food. I had the French toast with eggs & sausage. OMG. Homemade challah bread, absolutely delicious. The sausage was homemade, really nice seasoning. And for some reason these were the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. My husband had the Mexi Omelet. It was evident everything was freshly diced and it was tasty. I'm not kidding it was so good we came back for dinner! Chaim, the owner is so friendly and hospitable! He remembered us and treated us like family. How's that for good service?! We were made to feel really comfortable. It's a cozy place. So dinner: the best fries I've ever had in my life! And the Scrambled Burger. Totally scrumptious, and I'm picky! Thank you, Scrambled for making our trip to Va Beach so much better than it would be without it!

Gyro. Sorry, I had one already.

Good day, Virginia Beach! (Skip for food review) After reading the reviews, I'm honestly shocked at the amount of impatience diners that want everything fast. If you come to this place for the atmosphere, it ain't here...yet. Hopefully with the help of this review, we can get it there. However. THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR. From what I have been told, it's one man's heart and soul into every dish. Family ran, I think, and very friendly. Alright, the food! I had the gyro, falafel, home made hummus, and crab dip. I'll write this, list form. The gyro is incredibly flavorful and equally as balanced. This is not your typical Gyro. It's packed tight with the lamb cooked to perfection, and well mixed with the lettuce, tomato's, and sautéed onions with a cohesive helping of Tzatziki sauce that sent me back to my seat to take a moment of reflection. Too good! The falafel is well packed and moist that allows the outside to be held together as it you held a longtime friend. Firm, crisp, and with love. The inside is warm, tender, flavorful, and fluffy! Great color that yells "I was made this morning." Unknown if this is the practice but it might as well be. The hummus is smooth, silky and with the perfect amount of grain that leaves texture eaters into a soothing calm and gets right back to the next bite! The crab dip. The CRAB DIP. Warm, flavorful...yeah, all of the above. Presentation could be better, but I don't care! This dip is an amazing appetizer! Now for the sides. The pita. Handmade, soft, comforting, warm...I'm sad the food was finished. The rice. Amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection. I feel like I'm home...but I'm Mexican! Not Mediterranean at all. Overall, I'm appalled that no one was here with me to experience this man's cooking. Well, the wife was but I came back a second time and will for sure come back 3,4, 7 times. This is the place to be!

    Ambiance

We loved everything about this restaurant- food was excellent, service was very warm and inviting, and a lovely ambiance. The photos and plants, and music made us feel at home. I enjoyed the French toast and crispy potatoes and my husband had shakshuka, which came with salad and pita. There are lots of vegetarian options on the menu. The owner was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back the next time we come to the beach.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and was not disappointed. Menu feature breakfast classics as well as specialty dishes. Service was friendly and fast. Not a wide selection of mimosas but there is a bar so you can pretty much get anything. The food tasted home made and I will be coming back to grab some more!

Coffee was great Food was okay. Couldn't cut the pancakes. They might want to change their dough. Cute little place though

I arrived here around 10:15am on a Saturday morning with my sons. It was pretty empty. I opted to sit outside as we just left the beach and were a little sandy, lol. Most of the chairs are rusty, due to the metal and the rain, I assume. They did have 3 chairs with cushions, which we sat in. We ordered around 10:20am. We all got "the flop" which is 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon or sausage. Toppings are $1.50 extra. My boys got chocolate chips and I got blueberry. The food came at 10:31am. It was hot, fresh, and Delicious. The pancakes, in my opinion, were average. No complaints but not one of the best I've had. The bacon was perfectly crispy. We were given a basket that has syrup, ketchup, butter, and other condiments. We were also given hot sauce, salt, and pepper. The waitress was friendly. She was the only one present. They do have drink and food specials as well. Overall, great experience. We ordered, ate, and left in under an hour. It was in a convenient location as well as it was in between the oceanfront and our hotel on Pacific Ave. I would return!

I'm happy we stopped in. I love supporting mom/ pop businesses. The owner greeted us and very personable. Our waitress was nice and attentive as well. The food tasted like it was home cooked and not commercialized. The ambiance was cool, music wasn't too loud but cool summer vibes.

The Service was quick, friendly, and the staff knew what they were serving. And the food was delicious, my mother got similar scrambled eggs, and I got a crab Benedict. The ambience was amazing too nice and homey.

Before I get into the review of food, it's important that everyone knows that this is NOT just a breakfast place. They serve lunch, dinner and have a bar. Don't be fooled by the name Scrambled. Come here for the food and service not the ambience. Is it run down? Yes. But look past that and enjoy the delicious food with a mediterranean flair. It's owned and run by a father and daughter duo. My friend already knew him because she goes so often but he greeted me like family. I have no doubt he will remember me and greet me like family every time. I literally felt like I was in his house and he was cooking for me. It was a 1 man show on a Tuesday night. I started with the hummus plate and ended with a gyro. The hummus and the pita were so good!!! The pita was warm and soft and fluffy.....loved it. The gyro was packed full of goodness!!! It came with a side and I chose a pasta salad. I could not finish it all and took some of it home. They also have something on the menu called Beach Bags and it is food to go for the beach. Love it and very clever. I will definitely be back.....check out this local restaurant for the delicious food and wonderful service and friendliness.

    Jessica L.

First time here and had a good experience! Went on a snow day so it was quiet - just us and a few other customers. We met the owner who is passionate and down to earth. He was willing to explain everything on the menu and how it's made. The shakshuka tasted great and it was ready quickly.

Avocado toast side of FRESH fruit (pineapple) , Rise & Shine breakfast with a side of Challah French Toast.

This restaurant is a hidden gem!!! I mean the service to the food is 5 stars! Immediately upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and his daughter, two incredible people! The owner is so personable! I asked about the vegan options and he let me know anything on the menu can be made vegan or without dairy in my case. BECAUSE everything is freshly made in house. No packaged food, no frozen food, no BS. I will definitely be coming back!

"The Flip": Chullah bread French Toast, eggs, and bacon! Yum!!

BAD: Not much, a little pricey but if you stick to the sandwiches, given it's beach town, the value is reasonable. Other menu items get into the 30s quick and appetizers are steep. Lager Heads was on the agenda from some restaurant research. Iam glad I tried it - the burger felt like a 1/2 pounder, juicy and seasoned, yet still cooked perfect. The fries are seasoned, very crispy and came with the burger which I liked. They had a great line up of burgers, I'd love to try another. The Knockout burger was fantastic, but the Cowboy burger on texas toast sounded great as well. You'll quickly leave the 17 to 20 dollar range if you leave sandwiches, but the service, the portions, and the quality make it worth a treat. It was February, so I couldn't partake in what looked like great outdoor seating. That's something else I'd like to try if I returned in the summer.

We were able to seat anywhere we chose the booth hightop where we had a perfect view of the ocean water and we even saw dolphins passing through while are stay. The atmosphere is perfect for that more intimate experience for lunch and dinner and the light decor was nice and unique with cozy seating with perfect views of the ocean water . We came during restaurant week this spot was very good from the service the space and food we did their $20 lunch menu which included appetizers and entrees portions were definitely worth the option they had. I did the Caesar salad, a nice light salad surprisingly to start off with the entrée which was their burger and that burger was well seasoned well prepared delicious it's honestly my favorite will be back again for it during the summertime or another dine in plus you can do either the lunch or dinner option anytime during restaurant week the only difference is dinner gives you a dessert and that is $35 per person. The drink was a good choice to pair with our food. my favorite was their orange crush a perfect classic for the beach. Definitely a drink to have in the summer if you want a good crush they got an option with different flavors I did the original orange crush which was light and sweet. Overall a good start to restaurant week and trying something different.

Oceanfront views, open windows, and a coastal, airy vibe make it a genuinely scenic spot. Perfect for sunset dinners or drinks with the water right there. The energy at the bar was lively but not overwhelming. Clam Chowder: Rich, creamy, good balance of clams to potatoes. Classic and comforting. House Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing: Fresh greens, generous portion of blue cheese. Tangy and well-dressed without being soggy. Burger: Flavor was excellent, juicy, well-seasoned. Came out slightly overcooked for my preference, but still delicious. Drinks: Two Old Fashioneds were balanced and strong. Also had a shot of Jim Beam bourbon. This is where the experience fell short. I'm a 20%+ tipper and I sit at bars often, so I understand how busy it gets. But the difference in service was hard to miss. Tatiana (bartender): Greeting took much longer than other guests. I wasn't asked if I was eating or drinking right away, yet I watched her promptly greet others, offer water, take orders, then ask for a card. With me, she asked for a card for the tab immediately. The interaction felt noticeably different from how she treated other patrons. I give grace when I can, but the contrast was clear and can't be ignored. I also noted her manager appeared to be a Black man, which made the disparity feel even more disappointing. Hayden (bar back): Cool and helpful. Stepped in, checked on things, and was genuinely hospitable. I reluctantly left her 15%. Honestly, I didn't want to give her anything at all but a piece of my mind. The good Lord Jesus is working on me, so I left the 15% and walked away. As a regular 20%+ tipper, that drop speaks volumes about how the service felt. Pros: Scenic oceanfront atmosphere, good food with strong flavors, solid cocktails. Hayden's help improved the night. Cons: Inconsistent bar service. The burger was slightly overcooked. Most concerning was feeling singled out by Tatiana's approach compared to other guests. Catch 31 delivers on location and food. The view and the chowder alone are worth a stop. But the service experience at the bar was uneven and left me feeling offended as a paying customer who tips well. I hope management addresses the disparity, because the place has too much potential to be weighed down by that. Would return for the food and view, but hesitant about the bar experience with Tatiana.
