I plugged my phone in and sat it on the table and got comfortable for a longer wait, but moments later, true to the 1.5 hour estimate, they said my truck was ready. They advised me of some sort of leak on the front axle, but told me to check with the dealership because it might be under warranty. I appreciate that. I'll definitely be back for future service.

After stellar Yelp reviews (4 plus) guided us to AMC, paid over $3000 (for a broken serpentine…read morebelt, AC belts, new radiator etc., with all parts warranted per AMC). Confident and relieved we'd found a "go to" mechanic in Phoenix, one month later the car began experiencing intermittent power steering outage issues. Our son (in college and alone far from home) immediately brought the car back in, but AMC essentially refused to pop the hood, or otherwise even look at the car "unless the driver could replicate the issue". Two weeks later power steering and AC completely failed on a busy highway (due to a leaking radiator hose that ultimately fried the alternator). Paid an additional $800.00 (plus towing) to a competitor to fix what AMC should've caught. Also, AMC hours are now M-Th and of course this emergency happened on a Friday. First time Yelp has led me astray. 9/9/2026 - Owner Gilberto immediately reached out on Yelp below apologizing and asking for submission of additional repairs documentation to handle the case "fairly". To be fair, I did not go into specifics of prior phone interactions with Gilberto - owner - after the car was first towed to AMC and the had to be retowed to another shop due to AMC's inability to handle after hours emergencies (eg., no closed parking, nor key drop or other available). While all calls with were professional and courteous, Gilberto was ultimately unhelpful and disappointing (leaving us with limited options). The fact that AMC refused to do anything after the car was brought in by our son (for scary warning signs similar to the original problems) just prior to a catastrophic (towable) failure on a busy roadway is what is unacceptable. Not saying AMC is a bad business, they just really blew it. For minor car maintenance (oil changes and tire repairs) AMC is probably great. For major car repairs go elsewhere in the valley, please.

I've been dealing with issues on my Honda for months now. We originally took it to Honda, and they…read moreclaimed it was just the spark plugs--so we replaced them. Unfortunately, the issue came back not long after. We then brought the car here based on the good reviews, hoping for a real solution. The mechanic said he inspected the car and couldn't find anything wrong except that I needed an oil change and "Honda-specific" spark plugs. He also cleared the dashboard settings, which we found extremely frustrating because that doesn't solve the issue--it just masks it temporarily. At that point, it was already done, and we couldn't reverse it. We went ahead and bought the spark plugs directly from Honda and had them replaced, even though the original ones weren't aftermarket or low quality. Surprise--same issue came back again. Whether it's "higher-end" spark plugs or not, my car continues to have the exact same problems. Honestly, I don't understand why that recommendation was made in the first place. We even spoke to friends who work at dealerships and Honda, and they confirmed that advice was completely inaccurate. The car might be running *slightly* better, but it's like comparing Pepsi to Coke--it's still the same drink. At the end of the day, nothing was truly resolved. At this point, it feels like this is just one of those issues no mechanic seems able to figure out. Disappointing experience all around. Late update, but this happened on July 10, 2025. the only reason i came here was due to the 4.5-4.7 star reviews and the fact that it was near me.

After the installation, I took my car for a ride and there were many warning lights on the dashboard. Not sure if they damaged all the sensors on the car but all the sensors are now giving me warning lights and these warning lights will not go away. If you have newer cars, DO NOT let these guys fix your cars. One of the mechanics was hitting the back rotor with a huge hammer very hard to get it off and must have damaged all the sensors, I guess. Another possibility is that the other mechanic was using an electric saw to cut off the dust covers and might have cut a cable to cause all the warning lights to show up on the dashboard. I sent them an email about all the warning lights but no response from them. They were able to install the 4 rotors and 4 calipers just fine but the brakes don't feel very tight and feel loose when hitting the brakes. I thought he meant "around the corner" like... metaphorically. Spiritually. Philosophically. NOPE. Homie meant literally. As in, if I sneeze too hard, I might accidentally tumble into their parking lot. That kind of close. My old lifelong mechanics packed-up shop in November (RIP to fallen heroes), and I didn't even get my last-minute, "Hey, can you listen to this weird noise real quick?" visit in before they vanished forever. And look... I'm the kind of person who rides the car hard, then panics when it's been too long because cars need maintenance, and maintenance needs money, and I need BOTH those things to keep existing in this world. So I roll up for an introductory oil change, fully knowing my little green micro machine was running on the automotive equivalent of vibes and stale air. I meet Aaron at the front desk... kind, compassionate, chill, and somehow able to listen to my mechanical confessions without judgment. I hear you don't always get that at auto shops. I instantly felt safe, which is wild. I also hear Frank is The Man™. Didn't get to meet him this time, but if he's anything like Aaron, I know he's out there doing God's greasy work. Oil change pricing? Reasonable. Standard. Didn't make me consider pawning anything sentimental. They told me to come back anytime I needed something... and the way I drive? Oh, I might need to. AND THEN... the plot twist of the century. For the first time in the history of me owning this vehicle, I've never assigned a gender to my car. This one was just The Green Machine. Gender-fluid. Mysterious. Vibing. UNTIL Aaron casually said, "Yeah, she's chugging along." Excuse me? SHE? Was I unaware my green machine is actually a badass chick? Apparently, yes. Thank you, Aaron, for revealing the truth about my car's identity. I didn't name her... SHE arrived named. Anyway, I'm officially hooked. This is my new place. I'm gonna dig out the old mechanic list and bring my newly-discovered automotive queen back for whatever tender love and wrench-based interventions she needs. 5/5. New neighborhood unlocked. Stress reduced. Mechanic found by divine homie intervention. My car has a gender now. What a day.

I finally found a auto repair company that does business the way it should be done!…read moreHonest, fast, polite! They will now be our household's new place for auto repair and upkeep. Our Nissan rogue flashed a warning that there was no oil in the car and to pull over immediately. Which we did. We were confused because there didn't seem to be any oil leaks, and the oil plug looked like it was still in place. (my husband neglected to tell me he stopped checking the fluid levels monthly.) As our previous auto mechanic closed his shop, we hadn't had a chance to find a new one. So we looked on yelp and noticed clutch auto was only a few miles away although they seemed fairly new. They had only a couple reviews, but they were positive. So I decided to give them a try and called them and made an appointment for the same day and had the car towed to them. They did a full inspection and did not see anything wrong with the oil other than it needed it. They suggested an oil change however their inspection showed that there was some work that needed to be done on the suspension I requested photos however they had already taken them, which really impressed me seconds later they sent me a full report, including photos showing what needed to be repaired and why. By the end of the day, all the work was done. And I picked it up the next morning. I'm really impressed that they did NOT try to say other work needed to be done, as most other places would. Instead they were honest and explain that they would consider the suspension was in the yellow zone needing to be done soon, but could be put off a little bit if necessary. The cost for a full synthetic oil change was much less than five minute oil, However, I asked if they had a senior citizen discount they did not however they did have a 10% off first time customer discount, which brought the full job (oil change/suspension work) significantly in price.

So very kind and understanding as they knew she was going through a difficult time. They did a thorough check of her car. She had previously been told she had a transmission leak. These gentlemen did not find it. The "Check Engine" light, fortunately, was related to her tires. The batteries were old. There was some seepage from the brakes, but it was minimal. As for the brakes, they were still in good shape, but will eventually need attention. When she asked how much she owed them for their time, they told us "Zero". No charge! They understood she was going through a difficult time with her husband being in the hospital these past two months and assured her that her vehicle was safe to drive. They did invite her to return in six months for her next oil change and they would check her brakes again.
