I've been coming to scottie's for most of my life, multiple owners have come and gone, pandemic shut it down completely as well. In 2026 it's been completely revitalized and I dare say it's one of the best spots for lunch/dinner in the area. The owners clearly have a passion and dream to keep this place alive and it's never been better. The smashburgers are an absolute hit, the tenders are simple but tasty, philly cheesesteak crushes, and the local ice cream is the cherry on top. The Rueben sandwich was really good, however, when we ordered milkshakes after our meal it took over 45 minutes to get them. People were waiting forever to get a single scoop of ice cream in a cup or cone. They are not properly staffed to be operating. There was 3 people total, cooking, taking orders and serving ice cream. If there is more than 5 people at this restaurant, I would recommend going elsewhere. A shame because in years past this place has been all around great. read more

Stopped here on way back from lake house weekend and finally found the best lobster rolls in western mass. HEEPING PILE OF LOBSTER MEAT with the tiniest bit of mayo on a hot buttered bun! They add lettuce which actually makes it feel like more substance and was a nice texture. BEST PART IS the price. $12.50. Great driving range too. Pretty Empty on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon which was nice. Soft serve is super creamy. Got a kiddie cone which is the perfect amount for a small indulgence. Come here for traditional all-American fare ranging from hotdogs, burgers, fries, and onion rings as well as lobster rolls. Pricing is reasonable, and an enthusiastic team of young workers delivers top-notch customer service. While Scotti's doesn't have dedicated gluten-free products on offer, the staff certainly goes the extra mile to provide a meal that is safe and compliant. Knowing that gluten-free buns weren't an option, I brought my own gluten-free roll with me to the restaurant for a person with gluten sensitivity in my party and asked upon ordering if the staff would be willing to make a lobster roll using the provided bread. The staff happily obliged and was knowledgeable about cross-contamination concerns and inquired about the level of sensitivity explaining their handling and preparation practices, such as avoiding toasting the bread on the grill as it would come into contact with surfaces gluten-containing items would have touched. Employees also advised on which accompaniments were suitable options such as potato chips instead of French fries, which go into a shared fryer (gluten cross-contamination). Staff went so far as to package the order in a sealed container to appropriately separate it from other gluten-containing items in the overall order. Mind you, we went to Scotti's not expecting any major accommodation and planned on ordering the lobster roll in the salad format if our request were to be at all taxing to the kitchen or staff. We received such gracious service! We already loved Scotti's for many reasons, but this made for an over the top, fantastic experience. About the lobster rolls, they are made up of claw and knuckle meat minimally dressed on a bed of shredded lettuce atop a (toasted, buttered) New England-style roll with a sizable lemon wedge. As for logistics, you can call in your order ahead of time for take out, or you can order at the stand and enjoy on-site. I always appreciate the view of the sky and the driving range on a beautiful, sunny day. It can be entertaining to watch people hit a bucket of balls, and in the evening, if you're lucky, you might spot some deer. read more

Scotti's has always been a good place to go. Under new ownership I think it's even better if that is possible. I am somewhat of a reuben snob, and theirs is the best I've ever had, ANYwhere. I've never gotten anything that was lacking there, but until today I had never had the steak & cheese. I've read all the great reviews and thought I'd better try it before they close for the season...WOW!! It was absolutely perfect! Delicious! The onion rings are the best around, too. It's dangerous that my husband and I live so close to Scotti's! It's a great spot to grab a bite on the way home from anywhere or if you don't wanna cook. They have huge portions, great burgers, grinders and amazing service! The kids that work at Scotti's are so nice and welcoming. We always call ahead and never have any problems. My friends and I went on a Sunday around 1:45 we waited in line for almost an before our order was taken... (1 hot dog 2 cheese burgers 1 steak and cheese grinder and 1 small fri) which they close at 3...we didnt get the order for over a hour and it was absolutely disgusting...everything was cold and over cooked...the staff was very rude and nasty to each other...wish the origonal Scotti was back...Will not be going back this year :( :( read more

THE BEST STEAK & CHEESE - PERIOD! I have been a long time fan of Scotti's and wish I had taken more photos the last time I was there (about a week ago). Originally from western Mass, I have eaten my share of drive in / take out food from hot dog stands and fast food vendors on road trips in the area. Nothing, literally, nothing surpasses the steak & cheese at Scotti's on Route 9 in Leeds. The food is always made fresh to order - and as customizable as you can imagine. Their recent addition of seafood to their menu (recent within the last handful of years) has been tremendous and I am hard pressed not to make that my focus - but my heart does lie with the steak & cheese. Oozing with cheese fresh off the grill, topped with whatever you like (my preference: sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, pickles and mayo), served on a toasted freshly baked roll cannot be beat. Their french fries are a crowd pleaser for sure. Hand pulled through the potato slicer, they are cooked up fresh daily with nothing added to them. Top em with chili if you like, but I say salt and vinegar is the way to go. The outdoor seating is covered for the most part - a few picnic tables sit in the open sun - and overlook the long lawn of the driving range. Window/counter service is always with a smile and the place is clean, fastidiously so (unlike some drive ins where there is old ketchup crusted on trays and on the picnic table seats). Not only is Scotti, the owner of the family run drive in and driving range, a familiar friendly face which is always present in the kitchen, but his wife, Tammy, is there at his side most of the time or on the golf side (which was formerly run by Scotti's parents). I love nothing more than good food made by good people with strong family ties. Both the food side and the driving range are staples in the area for employing young high schoolers - oftentimes as their first job during summers. He has helped many a youngster earn money to put toward college and helped them garner confidence during what can be a trying time in a young person's life. Do yourself (and your family - if you have one) a favor and stop by here your next time through the area. That was really good, there were seven pieces in a large order and they were served with tasty marinara sauce. Next, a small order of french fries which was more like a large, plenty for two to share! The last item was a tad unfortunate. A hot dog and sauerkraut which consisted of a steamed hot dog and served on a cold deli bun that was not toasted. Seriously, sauerkraut on an untoasted bun.... I'm pretty sure there's a grill in the kitchen there, not sure why the dog and bun were not placed on it and not sure why a place that specializes in grilled food like hamburgers would choose not too prepare a hot dog that way. Food is great but the person on the window is a snob and has no manners...rude to customers with her attitude. If you order drinks with food and ask for your drinks right then and not when your order arrives, she gives you a rude remark about "you will get them when they are ready!" Wrong got my 2 shakes after 2 other customers who ordered theirs' after I ordered our shakes and after I got my order! Why because the person making the shakes was not told by the person taking the orders...the person who was doing the take-out orders told the person making the shakes to make the other orders first and did not know that these shakes were requested when ordered and not when the take-out order was ready. Don't bother to call for a take-out order because the rudeness continues with being put on hold for 10 minutes or longer and then you get disconnected! Need one person to just answer the phone for take-out orders! Has been happening since Scotti's reopened this year 2021! The service is HORRIBLE!!! read more

I got a mushroom and fried onion cheeseburger. It came out super fast and tasted pretty good. The portion is a good size- not a tiny burger hiding in big bread. The cheese melted everywhere and made it a little soupy so it had to be eaten carefully and with a lot of napkins. They have white picnic tables under a covering and lawn chairs and tables set up along the building. The staff is polite and seems happy to be there. It was a nice place for a quick bite. read more

On the weekends at lunch time, the lines are long, but worth the wait. It's a favorite of locals. A seasonal favorite. May-Oct. I think it's a fun place and can get decent food, but I absolutely have no tolerance for inefficiency. I don't see one complaint on here about the waiting in line time and it's really shocking. We have tried waiting in line 3x and then just decided it's not worth it anymore. The line is extremely long and there is no quickness or efficiency to their order placement and getting the food made. The girl took our order after waiting in line for 45 minutes and moved about an inch every 10 minutes. After she took our order, she was busy making people's drinks and trying to ring up the order on the cash register at a turtle's pace. After that it took about 25 minutes to make 2 grinders and 1 shake. If Marcus Lemone from The Profit saw this, he would be shaking his head. Get take-out, it's much faster. read more

We were there for lunch on a Friday. I had an lobster roll. It had a very generous portion of lobster meat situated in a NE style hot dog bun, for only $12.95! Doesn't get any better than that. We also ordered the whole belly clam dinner and the fried scallop dinner, both were $16.50. The seafood was very fresh. The dinner also came with french fries and cole slaw. We will go there when we are in the area. I'm surprised there aren't very many reviews. read more
