I have been a patient of Dr. Liang's for a very long time and I had an appointment today to go over my test results. It dawned on me that I never left a Yelp review and each time I'm in his office, I am reminded of why he is my Primary Care Physician for all of these years. Dr. Liang has excellent bedside manner and sincerely cares for his patients. He's an out-of-the-box thinker and always gives the best advice for the optimal health of his patients. He is very personable and carves out time to speak with his patients. I have never felt rushed to leave his office. In addition, his staff is supremely professional and always greet the patients with warm smiles. I highly recommend Dr. Liang, as you will be in great hands under his care. Employees sneezed and had runny noses but weren't wearing masks, leading to their infection. This is a complete lack of professionalism.

I have seen Dr. Liang since 2007. The staff always remind me of my appointments with a text, and are friendly and helpful. Dr. Liang's approach is to monitor one's health closely through twice annual full blood panels, reminders of vaccines that are due, and he has a great bedside manner. He explains any issues very clearly, answers questions when needed, and I plan to continue to see Dr. Liang. He is amendable to referrals for specific issues and I walk out of the office with the referral and approval number. I find the care I receive in the office by all to be professional and caring. I agree with one posting already made that his clinical skills are exceptional, and that he responds very quickly in the online mail system. He is the best. read more

I arrived at my 1st appointment ever for an annual physical at 9 am and the receptionist said he had an emergency and needed to reschedule for the next business day which was Monday at 8:45am. You think the office would call me??? Hmmm bad sign already. So show up on Monday and receptionist saids $40 copay and I asked her isn't annual physicals free? Then she asked the other girl and nothing more asked. Then see Dr. Liang who came highly recommended from a close MD friend. He has no personality just dry. I'm pretty healthy and figured just go through the motions of a physical but he didn't do much. Another bad sign. He ordered some blood tests and told me to return in 2 weeks. A month later I get a bill for his services which was nothing. Bill for an annual physical? Didn't Obamacare say one free annual physical a year? Called the office and Erica stated their policy was not to do a annual physical on the 1st visit so they charge $200 for a regular visit. Even though I was clear to ask for a annual physical upon scheduling a month on advance. Needless to say will never return and for new patients looking for a MD, be clear with the front office about services. This office staff is useless. We know it's hard to find good office workers for a one MD practice. I recently visited Healthcare Partners with competent front office and billers for my annual physical. Think twice before visiting this MD. He is okay but since his staff is not knowledgeable and competent, it's no bueno. Imagine if I was really sick, things could be worse. read more

Dr. Liang cared for me during my 4-day stay at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia. He was professional, pleasant, thoroughly explained all of my test results, lab work. He took his time when he visited me on the daily basis. He listen and answered all of my silly serious questions. He sat down in the visitors chair to talk to me. Dr. Liang has been my family's doctor for about 15 years. First let me state that Jean who apparently caused a lot of the negativity in the bad reviews, no longer works there! Yippie! Luckily, I never had to tangle with her or my review would probably be different. Erika and Angelica, his staff of many years, have been very accommodating to me. I receive an exorbitant bill, and come to find out after 6 years, I'm being charged as a "new" patient because he moved. I find this unethical and disloyal. Went in for my check-up and annual flu shot. Was seen shortly after I checked in, and Dr. Liang was very thorough in his exam. He provided good information regarding treating my psoriasis, and I will follow through with my dermatologist. His medical assistant/nurse was amazing with my flu shot, I did not feel a thing! I have been going to Dr Laing for awhile now and find him very professional but caring. IN saying that he doesn't let me get away with not getting my blood work done (I am diabetic) or will gentle scold me for not getting over to get my x-ray (and explains why it is important for him to make sure I do not have a clotting issue in my leg...my leg felt fine after a day so I didnt push it! I am glad he took the time to explain why I needed to make sure there is no underlying problem with my leg) His staff is very nice and always trying to accommodate my strange schedule. I have had nothing but good come from Dr. Laing. (PS the only reason I did not give him a 5 star is because I think it is almost impossible to be excellent...come on its called a "doctors practicing medicine" so they still can make little mistake. My bf made an appt and we even came early to fill out the necessary 'new pt' paperwork and we still had to wait to be seen. Finally after being brought into the room, the doctor only spoke to him for a short time roughly 5-10 minutes, WE had already provided the labwork that was done for him, so there wasn't much he did. Got the bill, its not so much the amount itself but the ACTUAL charge to the plan over 200 dollars for a routine/new pt office visit? that's just insane. Also when we asked him a general question about a rash my bf had on his arm, he states to ask his dermatologist and to let him know what she said, what kind of professionalism is that? JEAN is in charge of bill and Erica works in the front desk. I called them for my first visit. I gave them my insurance ID and all the information they required, 5 hrs. later, they told me my insurance is under Obama care and they don't take this insurance, then I called my insurance agent who told me I have a PPO plan, it isn't Obama care. I talked to Erica again the second day, she checked and Jean checked and claimed I am under Obama care, so I gave Dr. Liang office number to my insurance agent to call them, later I call Dr. Liang office again and told to a third staff there, she checked my insurance info. online and told me that they accept my insurance, I amn't under Obama care. Both Jean and Erica waste so many hrs. of mine time because of their careless attitude toward a new patient. Now things get straightened, but I decide to visit another Dr. instead due to all the hassles. read more

DO NOT.....waste your time with this useless quack. Not only is he incompetant, his office manager Jean is rude, unprofessional and lies. These people have no compassion for genuinely sick patients and are just looking to over charge your insurance as much as possible for what they consider treatment. Both my wife and I were patients up until discovering their scam. The worst part was Liang couldn't even diagnose what was wrong with me. He ended up referring me to another doctor in Arcadia whom was able to diagnose my pain as a simple infection that was cured by antibiotics in a couple weeks. Liang still charged me as if he did all the "heavy lifting". Then my wife was scheduled for a out patient surgery at another center but needed an EKG. She arrived at the appointment only to be told by the lying Jean that the surgery center had rescheduled the surgery for a later date and could not perform the EKG. We were sent home and still charged a $30 co pay. Jean also said our insurance was no longer valid. We checked with the insurance the next day and all was fine. We also confirmed with the surgery center the next day and confirmed the surgery date was never changed. In the end, Jean lied on both just to extort another $30 co pay out of us. We later found out the doctor was late returning from his daily 3 hour lunch. Jean was covering for him. When we went back to get a refund, Jean was extremely rude and refused to refund. That's when we demanded our med records and vowed never to waste our time or money with this shyster. read more

He always takes his time with appointments and asks good questions. He also has referred me to other wonderful specialists that I continue to see. Scotts manager of office is tacky rude. And does not know the difference between insurancees, as well as tgey don't follow protacal. They assume everything and never try to determine what is correct, and will hang up on you in a heartbeat, then say their phones weren't working when you call them from a different number. I have seen Dr. Liang off an on for eight years, following to his new location after he left a previous location. I will never change doctors and have convinced my husband to switch to him as well. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and takes time to go over test results, etc., and follow-up is excellent. He takes a lot of time with me, answers all of my questions, and explains everything in detail. I like his honestly and directness very much. His staff is wonderful. He is extremely conscientious and listens very carefully to whatever issues you have, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent Doctor. I have read some of these other negative comments and find that they are not truthful and have never found anyone in his office to be unprofessional or been lied to and so much of these comments tell me these people are not truthful to his office staff.
