If you need a pool table mover or repair company, call these guys. They stated to us they've been in business for over 20 years and you can tell... there nothing amiss with them. Then I hear her tell the other bartender "she's a weirdo, all she does is look at her phone, why would you come to a bar to do that?" Thank you Bailey!! There didn't seem to be any staff intervention to manage the situation or maintain a respectful atmosphere. Another frustrating point was the check-in process. I brought my own Brunswick bowling shoes, but I was still told I had to rent a pair anyway. The employee even said I could "just do whatever with them," which honestly makes no sense and feels like an unnecessary charge. Policies like that don't feel customer-friendly. To be fair, Big Al's is a fun place overall. The arcade games and general hangout vibe are great, and I'd still come back for that. But the bowling experience itself just isn't worth it based on what I've experienced. There's definitely room for improvement staff should be more proactive about enforcing basic bowling etiquette, making sure groups stay within their assigned seating areas and respect neighboring lanes. Better monitoring, especially when alcohol is involved, could help prevent disruptive behavior. Clear limits on group sizes per lane, ensuring kids stay within their own lane, and revisiting the shoe rental policy for guests who bring their own equipment would all go a long way in improving the experience. There's definitely potential here, but the bowling side needs better structure and oversight.
