Spoiler alert: I have been touching the wheel. Lovingly. Tenderly. Like it's a stress ball made of liability. But apparently that's not enough for Tesla, because now I get blinking lights and warning dings like I'm trying to hijack my own vehicle. And yesterday? Three strikes. Three. Because I dared to... drive near traffic cones. God forbid I share the road with a construction site, next time I'll just teleport, I guess. But don't worry, I tried reaching out for help. I told Logan Harrison (this service manager) what happened. His response? A warm and fuzzy, "That'll be $225 an hour for diagnostics." Excuse me? Diagnostics? On your update that broke my car's feature? This is a function we paid $10,000 for, and you're treating it like I'm asking for a favor to borrow your lawnmower. And here's the kicker: if you get too many of these little "strikes," Tesla just yoinks the feature from your car like a lunch tray in a middle school food fight. Doesn't matter if you were holding the wheel, making safe choices, or literally yelling "I'm here!" at the dashboard--nope. Big Daddy Autopilot knows best.
