I stopped by because I purchased a 2018 Chevy with a CM bed from another dealer, and the bed had quite a bit of rust. The owner was super nice, and took a lot of time explaining how to fix it and what products to use. When Midwest Motors takes their car back, I will change my review. I bought the car on 5/20/22. They did not disclose the fact this car has been in an accident prior to my purchasing. I have representation, waiting to hear back on next step to take. Mechanic's notes from June: Can't find wheel lock key to check brakes. Transfluid leak, pan wet, pan looks bent. Lower core support bent. Left lower rocker panel damaged. T pinch rail damaged. Front bumper reinforcement damaged. Left front wheel pushed back. Filler under bumper missing. New right front wheel opening splash shield. Fuse box cover missing at floor drivers seat. I was promised a manual and 2nd key fab, and tow port cover that was never received. This is not the car for me for these reasons and more. Paying car notes and insurance on a car I cannot drive. Left a huge transfluid leak stain on pavement when moved it after sitting for weeks. More under car now. Although in storage mode, have to keep tow coverage as it will absolutely have to be towed back when they do the right thing. read more

Absolutely awful dealership. Lied about where the truck I bought came from, lied and charged me for repairs they did not do, and when confronted they placed the blame on me. Stating that having my truck for 10 days and requesting updates forced their hand. They also falsely diagnosed a $5000 repair, and they were caught. When presented with the facts through the BBB, Midwest Motors could not come up with anymore lies it went against their rating. Don't believe a word from their reps or the owners. This is a dealer to avoid at all cost. There is a reason that they do not offer a CARFAX here. They are trying to hide where they are getting the trucks from and the problems they have. Don't let their fabricated Google reviews convince you otherwise. There will be several new 5 star ratings after this gets posted. These guys are trashy crooks. Avoid this dealer!!! read more

Terrible place to do business as far as I am concerned. They quoted me a price over the phone and when I got there it was way more than they quoted me. THey wanted +$100 for just diagnostics. and then as I was leaving the manager told me to "quit my bitching". Real professional business you guys are running there. I bet you're thriving. read more

I will never go back here as long as I live. I wouldn't have my worst enemy go there. First off the owners wife had a bad attitude off the start. She just acted like she would rather be somewhere else. Second she was trying to sell me anything and everything after I told her what I was looking for. She came off as money hungry. Then after she walked away I overheard her yelling at the guys that work in the shop. Then the salesman Bob came over and tried to make a joke about how that isn't the first time she's done that. How can you treat the people that work for you like that? So not only are they selling everything way over priced but they treat the people that work for them like trash. Unlike Lee, I didn't have a bad experience - I had a really good one here. I owned a 2004 Chevy 2500HD with gas engine that had 200,000+ miles on it, and it was time to replace it. The problem? It's difficult to find a standard cab, long bed, diesel work truck at a reasonable "utility" price nowadays, because everyone wants the huge cabin while I want a simple work truck for the farm. I found Midwest Motors by searching through AutoTrader ads. When I saw they had a 2007 Ford F-250 available, I gave Meg (owner) a call and drove the hour and a half from my home to Midwest Motors. I looked over the truck carefully, knowing that Ford's 6.0 PowerStroke diesel from the '03-'07 years were "iffy". Everything was just as advertised. When it came time for pricing, they were up front with the price she needed and the price she could give for my truck, and I didn't have to dicker around on the pricing to find something that worked for my budget and their business needs -- that's critical for me because I *hate* *hate* *hate* that part of the process (and it's why we need to allow alternatives to the new car dealership model in general). The truck came with a 1-month, 50% parts+labor warranty on the powertrain components, something you very rarely find from any used vehicle dealer (generally, everything's "as-is"), so that if something goes wrong initially, they're not just sticking you with "buyer beware". I've already put a few hundred miles on the vehicle in the first week, and am very pleased with the purchase. read more
