Bought 2026 GMC Sierra AT4 in November. Sale was smooth and quick. January - Glow Plug was bad and throwing code. Took a few days to get serviced. Yesterday, Sunday, Info Center showed the car was operating at Reduced Acceleration - Drive with Care. Code was reduced oil pressure. Call dealership at open Monday morning, Was told to bring car in right away and the would swap out with a loaner. While checking in at dealer, was told they are 30 days out and they will squeeze in at some point. Kicker was they want to charge me $48 per day for loaner until they can verify there is an issue. Called Weber Chevrolet and Bommarito GMC and was told to bring car, they would get in right away and provide a loaner. Guess where we will be buying future vehicles and having service done. As soon as we pulled out of bay check engine light was on. read more

Service Manager, Steve Kohensky- We assumed you knew there was a non GM oil drain plug. Sorry it's leaking after we performed the oil change, I can give you a discount. Very disrespectful to my wife because she is a women in a car conversation. Used car department- We will buy your car from you if want. I had a really rocky first experience with them and I had not realized that I never updated my review. I have been taking my car to them since my first review in 2015. The service in subsequent visits was stellar. The staff that I have interacted with over the years have been pleasant and professional. They have been honest and up front with the service I require and the cost associated with it. I do recommend scheduling service ahead and not waiting for your car if it is something other than an oil change. They do offer a courtesy ride to your home or work when you drop off for service. My car exploded on the highway. Coolant all over the place. My fleet people sent me here. It was just after hours.... so they stayed until I got there. I got a call right back the very next morning. It was under warranty and recall so they went ahead and started fixing as they were calling. I picked it up 4 hours later and the best thing yet happened. My car, which had been dirtier than it had ever been due to my job, was given a full wash with shampooing of the carpets..... FREE. Thank you Dave Sinclair. We bought a used suburban at the end of July 2023 with under 50K miles. Our salesman was great during the buying process, however, after purchase we have found several issues. They claim to do a certified multi-point inspection, yet shortly after getting the car home, the rear differential pinion was leaking along with the oil pan, both heater hoses were leaking coolant, the water pump was bad, the engine oil cooler line was leaking. All these were found by their service department in the beginning of Oct 23 and "fixed." We brought the suburban in for a routine service in Feb 2024. They noted that the rear break pads were getting low but nothing of concern and the one year old battery was fine. In March of 2024 we had to tow the vehicle in, since it broke down on us out of state. The "one year old warranty battery" was supposedly bad, and we had to purchase a new battery, since they did not cover it due to the "warranty battery" not being purchased through them, or we could pay a $215 hourly fee to look at it. Also at that time, they checked the rear break pads and they magically got bigger. They went from 4mm to 5mm. The front break pads were 9mm at all three times we had it looked at. At this time they also informed us the cabin air filter was dirty and needed to be replaced even though it was just serviced in Feb 24. That leads us to May 24 where we had to take the vehicle in again because it was making a weird noise. This time they informed us, the rear differential was bad and wanted to charge us $4,100 to replace it. Mind you we had the vehicle there shortly after purchase and they were supposed to have fixed the rear differential. They also are now claiming the engine vacuum pump is bad along with the break pads and rotors. Those supposedly went from 9mm in March to 5mm and the rear are now on metal. This is a second vehicle for us and we do not drive it everyday. It has under 62K miles. At this rate we were ready to trade the vehicle in, and they had the audacity to offer $20K less than we purchased it for which was less than 10 months ago, as long as we purchase a vehicle from them. Our salesman also refuses to call us back. (That may be the dealer no longer allowing him to.) Buyer beware on buying used cars from this dealer. We are now stuck with over $6,000 bill on a vehicle purchased less than 10 months ago. That does not include the $3,000 plus for the first service call. We have all the service documentation from the dealer in hand. read more

Had to take my truck here after an accident. The front of my truck was hit while parked. When I got my truck back I heard a rattling noise coming from the front bumper and one of the fog lights was not working. The rattling noise sounded like a bolt or screw was not right. I took my truck back and they said they could not hear the rattling noise and they just forgot to plug in the fog light. When they said they fixed the fog light it fixed the rattling noise. I could still hear the rattling noise and had my cousins husband look at it who does auto body work. Come to find out the bumper is on the truck wrong. The rattling noise a washer around the bolt that was not put all the way in. The best part is the same bolt on the opposite side of the truck he was just able to pull out. He said the frame the bumper goes on is bent and they should have noticed this because of the way the bolts were in. So I will be bringing my truck in a third time for them to fix it again. We do learn our behaviors from family members including how to be mean & mostly a jerk! We had a horrible experience. The salesman was pretty good, but that was about it. The car we bought had 800 more miles on it than was listed because they let their salesmen drive all their cars. The car was dirty on the inside, it still had a car seat, among other things, in it when we test drove it. The sales manager acted like he couldn't care less that we were there, and even said he "didn't want to waste his time" when we told him we wanted to check payments and interest rate before committing to buying. After going to financing, we declined the warranty, and the finance person told us that to replace one headlight in the car was $2500 (looked online while sitting there, they are $300). Finally go to get our car after it was "cleaned up," it was still completely filthy, and to top it off, they had scraped the back door and it had a huge, white scuff on the black exterior door. They did not want to fix it, but they finally agreed to buff it out, and allowed us to void the deal if we didn't like it. When they went to fix it, it was promised to be done in a day, but they were a day late, and while they drove the car back to our house, they showed up while we were still at work instead of simply calling and telling us they were close. I would not recommend it due to the interaction of a potential purchase. I had a deposit on another car (F150 Platinum) that I had reconsidered but the Sierra AT4 caught my eye (60K). The issue was that I was refinancing my house and could not run credit, so I offered a 5K deposit and they refused to hold, so I offered 20K (bank check in hand) still they would not hold for 5 days. 5 days later the salesman called who was great saying they still had the vehicle, but unfortunately the sales manager that day was "Dave Sinclair Jr" who said that was not how we operate and he has kids too. I came in as requested and went on the test drive. I purchased a used 2018 Yukon. The sales team explained to me that they didn't discount vehicles stating, they felt they already were offering the best price. The price was okay but just in the middle of the pack. I asked since they didn't discount the vehicle if I could at least wave the stupid dealer fees. The most they would do was give me half of the fees off. The reason for the low rating was that the team member told the worker to fill the tank and clean the vehicle. So either they called the worker and told him not to fill the tank because they reduced the fees, or the team just doesn't have a good staff? On my way home I looked a the gas gauge and to my surprise it was on empty not even half a tank. Thanks so much. Couple of days later found French fries on the floor in the back seat. When I called the team member who sold me the car he said the next time I brought the vehicle in he would wash it for me.again thanks a $10 wash in lieu of $60 in gas? I communicated with Kathleen Jenkins via email over a couple of days and made an appointment to meet with her in person. Strike 1: When I showed up at the dealership and asked for Kathleen, Chris Foerstel showed up instead and informed me that he would be helping me b/c Kathleen was in the other building and apparently couldn't be bothered walking over (did I mention we had a scheduled appointment)? Strike 2: I told Chris that the deal was 100% dependent on the trade value for my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee so I didn't want to drive anything until I knew what they would give b/c I didn't want to waste his time or mine. Of course he said that wasn't the process and insisted I drive the Lacrosse (which I did). Strike 3: Before going into the dealership I researched the trade value for my car which was between 24k-26k on KBB. When I sat down with Chris he said at auction my vehicle was worth 18k (really....you're going to auction a 2013 Grand Cherokee w/18k miles they gave me more for my 2008 Saturn Aura last time. This is a joke). At that point I thanked him for his time and asked for my keys back. He told me his manager had them b/c he was going to look at my car and he left to go retrieve them. 5 minutes later he still was not back so I found him and his manager chatting in a cube and asked the manager for my keys back at which time he told me he didn't have them...Chris had lied. I have file a complaint with BBB and the Attorney General and I'm getting ready to seek legal action against the Buick company. Please do not buy any Products from any of the Buick dealerships I bought a 2014 Buick Verono and it's a Lemon and these companies will not honor their manufacturer warranty. They will get out of doing anything for their customers. If you are Black or a female they will take advantage of you if you do not know all in the name of money. I'm am very livid about my new car because it's brand new and I'm already having major issues with it. I keep up on the maintenance of my car so why am I having issues with it this early. I have been bring my car to Dave Sinclair Buick dealerships and they have done nothing more than Ripp me off I told them several times I have warranty on my car and they failed to hear anything I was telling them because I'm African American and a female. I took my car to their shop for oil change soon after my car started acting up and so I had to take my car back into the shop so they gave me a battery that anit worth crap and it's not even a year old. But to make a little big story short after they installed my battery I still had issues after that my car shut off on me while driving it and I almost got killed. So I had to get my car send back to the shop but they couldn't send it back to Dave Sinclair who messed my car up because they were going to charge me for mileage because they claim it was too far so I had my car towed to Lou Fuz and they claim some rodent had eaten through my wires but that wasn't told to me by Dave Sinclair who serviced my car for a battery issue so they claim since it was a rodent issue they were not going to honor my manufacturer warranty so at this point I'm very livid with the company altogether. So I get my car back and months later I'm still having terrible issues with my Buick Verono the shifter which should be a recall issue had broken off and this is supposed to be a brand new car so why is my shifter breaking off so now I cannot put my car in any gear whether it be park, reverse neutral or drive and so I had my car towed to gateway Buick because I'm thinking it will be covered as a recall issue because it's a safety issue but no to make matters worse is that before my car was towed to gateway my battery was working fine in my car which I just got under warranty in May 2017. So I take in for a shifter issue and now they claim a brand new battery is bad I'm confused and I was told that my battery should be covered under parts warranty by Dave Sinclair Buick dealerships but no they are trying to charge me for a whole new battery and a shifter which when I got their first quote they said it was going to cost me 618.00 and now they have changed it to only 418.00 dollars looks to me like someone is being taken advantage of all the way around. This company cares nothing about its Black customers only to shake their pockets and screw over you and if you are a female you can just forget it they are going to ripp you off. I filed a complaint with GMC and they are doing nothing to help me my car has been sitting at gateway Buick for two weeks now and I'm livid because no one can come up with how to deal with my situation. I feel like they screwed up my car and I want this company to give me my 32 thousand dollars back off of this car I'm angry and I'm pregnant and I'm dealing with horrific stress right now something no pregnant woman should be dealing with. I feel that if I was a white American this issue would never have gone on this long. I'm so angry with this company I don't know what to do. I have tire warranty and they charge me for all of my tires and refused to reimburse me for any of them. People were good to a degree. Car selection was good. But when buying a used car here, they will do anything to make a deal. I've had my car for around 40 days. I noticed the tires looked old and before buying they guaranteed me they looked at them and they were at 70%. Within 2 days one tire I had to replace. Now within 40 days another. You can possibly say that it's wear and tear or my fault. My previous car I owned since 2012 new and never had one flat. 40 days in, and I have to replace 2 tires that they said were in great condition. read more

I am selling a car on a standard web site and I got a message from a generic sounding group saying they would give me $500 below what I was asking for the car. It was an acceptable offer so I said I was interested and they sent me to Dave Sinclair GMC. The used car manager, Nick, took it for a "test drive" and offered me $1700 below what they said the would offer. He pointed out some things with the car that were nowhere near worth $1700. Maybe a few hundred less but not $1700 less. I think these guys make a high offer and then "test drive" the car, find reasons to give you far less and plan on selling it for about what they offered. When we went through pricing, I was hit by a double-whammy: -They claimed my trade-in quoted on Kelley Blue Book as being worth 6k was only worth 4k. -One of the "incentives" listed online was no incentive at all. I felt like I had to pay for something that wasn't caused until I came in 5months ago and they performed an electrical recall on the seats in my car... A week after the recall was fixed... My headlight blew out, I saw that the inside of the bulb was burned and the connector was a little burned. I did finally changed the bulb... had I known that 3months later it would have blown again on the same side, with the wiring burned also... I would have taken it back when it first blew out... Because this time I couldn't just change the bulb and I know it had something to do with that recall wiring that was changed. But still I had to come out of a deductible that I don't feel that I should have to get it fixed. I had a very very very bad experience with this dealership on 5-13-2015. I sent in the specs I was looking for on a 2015 GMC terrain on truecar.com and Dave Sinclair was the first to call me and offered a great price! at $21,361. Over the phone I explained I wanted to trade in my 2012 GMC terrain and that this new vehicle was one my employers were going to buy and put under the business name. Kathleen Is who me and my employer spoke with over speaker phone. She clearly stated that my Employer did not have to be present and that I could go ahead and leave and that she would have someone call my Employer and workout the details. I drove well over an hour to trade my 2012 and pick up the 2015 terrain. Upon arrival I was approached by Andrew Godfrey ( he is the only reason they deserve any stars ) he told me that Kathleen had told him about the conversation and that he would get me Squared away. After a long waiting process for them to appraise my car Andrew called me to his desk and said they would give me 10k for my 2012 GMC terrain which has 65500 miles, Brand new tires and oil change. ( Every other dealership I talked with offered me atleast 12k in trade ) I laughed and said I needed 13k in trade and that I owed $12,362 on it still. Andrew went back and forth with his manager trying to get me my requested price. We finally came to an agreed upon price with trade in of my 2012 terrain the new 2015 terrain would be $23,600, Which is only about $400 cheaper then local dealers and 2k more then what I was quoted. But I had been there for 3 hours and was tired and just wanted to get in my new car and go home. After starting the paperwork I was told that the Owner/Co-owner of the business had to come in and sign. It was about 10PM and they whole reason my employers had me go up there is because they were to busy to go and Kathleen said they didn't have to be present. So I left there very tired and cranky because I just wasted 4 hours of my life. their deal is still $400 cheaper then our local dealer so this morning ( 5-14-2015 10:19AM ) I called andrew and said We would still purchase the 2015 terrain at the price agreed upon last night but they would have to deliver the vehicle. Andrew said he would ask his manager and call me back. He did call back and the answer was "NO We will not deliver" 1. Lied over the phone on several things. 2. Tried to majorly low ball my trade in. 3. Would not save face and deliver the vehicle even though they knew it was their fault that I had to drive over an hour and that they wasted 4 hours of my time last night.
