I reached out on their web page about a vehicle and got a response very quickly. I set up a time to come in and meet with Tim McCoy to show me two vehicles I was interested in. Tim was waiting for me when I got there and quickly introduced himself to me. He had the cars up and running with full blast AC on, and thank goodness cause it was hot that day. I did a ton of research prior to viewing the vehicles so I had very little questions for Tim but the ones I did he answered quickly and sharply. Went for a quick test drive of the vehicle and was sold. Tim was a solid sales man and you could tell he cares about customer relationships. The negotiation process was a breeze, I knew what the values were coming into it and Bommarito had fantastic pricing up front. Only played a little bit but hey, it's part of the fun. Bommarito had good financing terms with several banks (always cheaper rates if you go to the bank first), and offered a solid warranty that I bought. All in all it was a fantastic experience and you can tell most Bommarito employees take pride in working there. I always check their website first upon car shopping. We will be back in a few years. Personal thanks to Tim for a great experience.

They ordered one from eBay and it arrived a week after I purchased it. On opening the box the supplied cable did not include the adapter to plug into the wall. Well they promised a cable and did not promise it would work I attempted to follow up and see about ordering the needed adapter. They ghosted me. I ended up buying a working cable from Amazon that was cheaper than the OEM cable from eBay.

The service advisor told me I was in for a wheel rotation despite what the dashboard message said - "Oil maintenance required" . Despite what I set the appointment for and what the vehicle said - he insisted on making his point and ignoring the fact I wanted and need an oil change. Said I was early - never acknowledged that the Toyota dash could be wrong or misleading. Several other employees watched this including other advisers and no one stepped in. This turned into an escalation where he ended up telling me to take my business elsewhere. I did - within 30 minutes I got a call from the manager wanting to make things right because "we got off on the wrong foot" I didn't get off on the wrong foot - the advisor was a condescending jerk who made it all about him being right and proving himself right despite me being there for a simple oil change because the vehicle said I needed oil service. Jay Wolfe service is a miserable outfit and I cannot recommend them at all - especially if you know what you think you want or your car tells you what you want.

When I asked to speak with someone above him, he flat-out refused to provide any information. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Scott later returned my call and was respectful and helpful, which only highlighted how poor Matt's conduct was. I made it clear that interactions like this are exactly why customers choose not to return--his behavior alone is enough to make me take my business elsewhere.

Neither of them were what I was looking for. While some salesmen at another dealership wouldn't leave us alone, the guy we worked with here didn't seem all that interested in helping us. He was nice enough, but was clearly just going through the motions. At other dealerships, we were given a little info about the car before we test drove it. Not here. We got the keys, drove, came back, got keys to another vehicle, drove, came back and said thanks and then we left. He may have been having a bad day, but he didn't do anything to make us want to go back.

He explained some of the new tech inside and some options I didn't even realize it had. I had to adjust to the shift being on the steering wheel instead of the middle console so it was trial by fire but I really loved it. When I got back Brian was happy to hear that I loved it but I did preface before we left the lot that it was the first dealership I walked into and that I want to test drive multiple vehicles. He definitely gave me more info and comparing to the models I wanted to test drive which I appreciated, but luckily my husband already told me everything he said because he is into cars. He didn't push which I also appreciated. I'm just not ready to purchase yet. I did receive a follow up call two days later and got more info. I let them know I have a Honda with not even 60k miles so it will still be awhile. I just wanted to test drive so I knew far in advance. I appreciated that they said they understood and that I barely touched the surface with the Honda and they appreciated my candidness. Like I told the caller, I'll come back and work with Brian because I'm loyal so don't worry!

I was buying a car and hoping to trade my older one in. Right away the manager came back in and said my car "wouldn't even start." Now, my car has a lot of problems but that was not one of them. He flat out lied to try and devalue my car and then offered me $100 for it. You can get that just for the battery! Absurd and insulting. The salesmen are crooks like you read about, unwilling to work with you much on price and tack on an almost $700 admin fee at the end when you're too tired to fight. Just down the street at Acura, they waived their fee for me immediately. Every lie in the book was used on me at DTEC, like I was an idiot (I look much younger than I am which was even commented on and clearly I was treated like I'm young and dumb), but I played the part because I liked the car. I was there from 11am to close. I was starving and getting dizzy. My salesman offered me a sandwich and pulled out his phone but clearly never intended to spend his precious scheckles. By the end I was so low blood sugar, I could hardly function and what did they do? They locked me in a room with Mike, the Finance Manager, who my dealer Reed boasted was "such a great guy" before I went in. Mike in no way lived up to this. In fact, he was the worst part of the entire experience. Rude, unprofessional, and uncompassionate. I told him many times I was tired, had a long day, I was hungry and not feeling well. He continued to HARD SELL me a warranty that I politely declined so many times I lost count. He just sat there and continued to crunch numbers to get his precious warranty in the bag. I finally convinced him to let me sleep on it. I asked several times if someone could provide me with a ride to pick up my car the next day, after spending nearly 30,0000 dollars!!! NOPE. TOUGH LUCK. "GET AN UBER." DISGUSTING!!! I told my Uber driver this and even he was disgusted and said he would never shop there. He was so appalled he said he was going to call them and tell them. I was a salesman when I was 16. I outsold everyone at my store and I did it by being honest, respecting my customers and caring for their needs. You will NOT find that at David Taylor. I Ubered in the next day, still tired and squeezing in between work appointments. I told them I was short on time and had to be in and out. Reed said I needed to see Mike again. I flat out told him I WAS UNCOMFORTABLE and did not want to talk about warranties, to which he callously replied, "Tell him." THEY LOCKED ME IN A ROOM WITH MIKE AGAIN WHERE HE CONTINUED TO HARD SELL ME AGAIN ANYWAY!" I politely declined again and again until I finally had to SHOUT at him and tell him to leave me alone, get my car, and get me out. I told him "You guys already took me for everything I have." He scoffed and mocked me "Pff Everything you have." Super professional, bud! I could go on but I would fire you immediately! I work in radio and know A LOT of people. I host my own show which thousands of people listen to around the world. I worked in Hollywood movies before that. Really not a bright idea to make this kind of impression on me. Just a little kindness, a little effort to make their customer happy would have gone a long way. Here's the cherry on top. The next day, I noticed damage on the car. I called Reed and he of course denied all knowledge and didn't care, passing me over to the higher ups. I called Burt and he never bothered to call me back. I'm guessing they will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help, as is their usual motto at this dealership. I was lucky and unfortunate enough to find the car I wanted here, but will never go back and never recommend. I had such a terrific experience at the dealer down the road and left them a great review even though I didn't buy from them. Know why? Because they treated me like a HUMAN BEING. David Taylor Ellisville only cares about one thing, GETTING YOUR MONEY.

The title was from out of state, and when I tried to visit a local DMV with the paperwork provided they told me that the title paperwork was filled out incorrectly (Sarah - the title clerk placed a rider on top of a rider.) I visited this dealership location more than three times to attempt to get the title clerk to fix the issue. She refused each time. l was finally able to get a DMV to accept my paperwork. They called me the next day to share that the paperwork was in fact incorrect. On August 4, the Missouri department of revenue sent David Taylor Ellisville form 4055 requesting them to fix the title issue. I get a call from Diana (assistant) informing me that they received the form and that Sarah will fix the issue when she returns from taking her child(ren) to college and explaining how diligent of a worker she is rather than providing any real solutions. It's been weeks and I have not heard a peep from this dealership. I've finally received my title in September 2025.
