I recently purchased a vehicle at Horizon Auto Sales in December. They were easy to negotiate with,…read morealways a plus. However, 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle It started acting up. So i drove the car the almost 40 miles one 1 to have them look at it. The problem was easy enough to fix. So i thought. Every time I'd leave and get on the highway the car would continue to act up so i'd have to turn around and have them look @ it. They ran a diagnostic and couldn't find the problem so told me to give it a few days. The car still acted up. I called my mechanic and he looked it over, finding the problem within 5 minutes. He duck taped the intake( which of course was the issue). I called horizon several times and also emailed, letting them know they needed to fix this problem because they hadn't and i wasted all that gas driving out there. I never received another response from them. Now on top of this problem, the belts have already gone bad on my car. So I have spent over 300 dollars since December on parts for this car(not even including labor), when I was told everything was brand new and they'd fix whatever I needed ( specifically b/c i was pregnant so it needed to be extra reliable). If you want my advice, make sure you have a written guarantee they will fix something. Otherwise, you are screwed.

It occurred between 3 and 3:30 pm local time. We were basically boxed in by police, emt, and fire department personnel. Once a statement was given we were told to stay where we were by police. Unfortunately the extremely rude female tow truck driver was obviously in a hurry (pretty sure it wasn't for a hot date) and told us we needed to move out of the way so she could get the tow. Now I can't speak for other people but when someone with a gun & the authority to arrest me or my husband says to do something I'm more likely to listen to the authority figure more so than someone with a bad attitude & diarrhea of the mouth. Even after we were told to move she just kept on. I guess we irritated her spirit. Just wanted to let you know the types of people working for you. Hope she doesn't cost you business. I called my towing service through my insurance company, but due to the deadly cold inclement weather across the country, when I finally got through, I was told I would have to call back at a later time. We just moved to this area 1 year ago and aren't familiar with services in this area. So I looked up 24 hour towing services in the area, and called Ives Towing. Even though they were hammered with calls, they still arrived within an hour to tow my car. I was so relieved when they showed up with a flatbed truck to tow my Toyota Highlander Hybrid to a Toyota dealer. Nick and Chase were efficient and knowledgeable in hooking up my car. I have MS as well as other health problems and it was so cold out. I am a big woman and old. They were so kind to me. I can't thank them enough for being attentive and helpful. I needed to ride with them to the dealer. Needless to say, I had to be helped to climb up into the truck cab. It wasn't easy and without their help, I would never have been able to do that..... Thank you for providing a reasonably priced service (I was not taken advantage of at all), promptly providing a great service, and having wonderful caring men to carry out the service.
