Wow I can't believe how great this company is. My family experienced soot/smoke damage from the Saddleridge Fire and Scope was there to help us. They've guided us through the entire process and dealt with my insurance. This whole situation was a stressful time for so many people and they made it less stressful for us. They will take care of you and guide you through the process. I highly reccomend Scope. read more

Removed moldy vanity but left it in the master bedroom for about 10 days despite telling me they would get rid of it. Nice guys but downplayed my issues and i ended up needing to hire another company to complete the job. read more

I am updating my review because I just found out that the old subfloor underneath our vinyl flooring it was on top of the slab should've been lifted up.. We had someone from another water mitigation company come out today and there's high levels of moisture trapped under the subfloor. The guy that came out was super nice but obviously that should've been caught. read more

One Star was issued for Scope Environmental Remediation to get your attention. They deserve a 5 Star rating for their emergency response. We had a water leak through our refrigerator filter resulting in over one inch of water in our kitchen, eating area, family room, powder room and laundry room late Saturday afternoon. Spent Saturday night vacuuming up the water with neighbor and plumber. Sunday morning called Scope Environmental Remediation. Sevak Killisian was in our house within a couple of hours following our emergency call with blowers and assessing our water damage. He followed up Monday with additional blowers and humidifiers and evaluated the extent of water contamination. We had eleven blowers and three dehumidifiers running around the clock for 12 days. We ended up with minimal damage. The demolition group was good to work with and did a good job with removing contaminated vinyl flooring and carpet with just some minor issues. Dealing with the repair group was frustrating and terrible which resulted in the overall rating to be one Star. Communication with repair personnel was difficult. They would not provide us with contractor information when requested so that we could begin looking into replacement flooring and carpeting. The repair estimate by the insurance company adjuster was approximately $15K. Scope came in with a $50K ridiculous estimate, which included a moving van, forklifts and replacing cabinets and vanities, none of which were required. The estimator had not been to our house to properly evaluate what repair work was really required. We canceled using Scope for the repairs. read more

We had a leak from our hot water heater that we had our home warranty deal with. They didn't fix it properly and year later we discovered it was still slowly leaking and had caused mold. We had been fighting with them for months to fix it properly and pay for mold but they refused. This is when we called SCOPE and had them do the mitigation. They are a wonderful company and quickly worked to get everything completed and house back to normal. It was so nice to deal with a great people and an awesome company after what we had been going through the past couple weeks. I would highly recommend SCOPE and will use them again if we are ever in need of them again. Thank you SCOPE! read more

my ins company had them come to clear out the mold and repair all the damage from a leak in the unit above me. the claim started in 2020 they did not open all the walls only one little area and the mold is back or should I say was not taken care of correctly. They replaced my custom cabinets with some retail junk that doesn't even match my adjacent closet and cheap flooring that don' match my other flooring. They first sent a disgruntled employee who walked out on the job and explained that his employer abuses and overworks them. They send another subcontractor that had to have a translator because he didn't speak English and banged out the job as fast, shotty and cheap as possible. They closet organizer was not installed well and the drawers never closed properly and one of the close rods falls when you hang close from it. They also didn't patch all the holes or touch up all the paint touchups. they finally finished at the end of 2021 now November of 2022 everything they did is destroyed plus the walls in my bathroom and wall floors and furniture in my bedroom ALL HAVE BLACK MOLD. read more

We worked with Scope environmental to sanitize our warehouse and clean some inventory that arrived in poor condition. They were efficient, friendly and competitive with their pricing. Sev, Petter & Jesse were our lead guys on the job, they were incredible to work with. Huge thanks to Veronika too, for scheduling the team on a rush job for us. We'll definitely be using their services regularly for warehouse cleaning and more. Thanks Scope! read more

The company was so very punctual and couldn't be more professional..all paperwork was very precise and not only covered their business but also the customers as well. Highly recommended them I know they will be the company I call when I have the need for more work read more

This company has been so responsive in cleaning up the smoke in our home from the Woolsey Fire. The cleaning is not yet done so I can't speak to that yet, but they came out quickly, took the time to give us an accurate estimate (we had others come out who said they wouldn't until the adjuster came), and they drafted the work order quickly. They also were kind working extra hours; Veronica waited after five to get my paper work to avoid delays. We called the usual companies but went with scope bc we triply felt their trustworthiness. Also big plus--is going through insurance--they only do as much as the insurance will cover unless you authorize otherwise. So you are not out of pocket or shocked by a bill. read more

What a great experience with smoke damage remediation following the Wolsey fire.... I regret taking so long to give a complement to this great team. We had quotes from multiple companies that were open ended and what seemed to be highly exaggerated to repair ash, soot, and smoke damage to our home. Our insurance agent was fighting some of these higher costs. We looked around and found some slightly more reasonable contractors, but none were as reasonable as Scope. Their estimate was fair relative to other contractors and the work quality was excellent. Better yet, there were no surprise fees at end. The work quality was great and done quickly. We were happy to to get back home to a clean, smoke free house! Thank you Scope! read more

Scope is very user-friendly, Sevak the technician was so accomodating and very thorough. I had a leak behind my fridge and needed mold testing a few times to assure that the contractor honored his mistake with the fridge hook-up. I was so appreciative of the thoroughness to check under the house and the follow up. Very good! Thank you! read more

Professional, helpful and worked with us every step of the way! From Lorena who helped walk us through all of the steps, to Andrew and Phillip and their crew who did the actual work and updated us along the way, we couldn't recommend Scope and their excellent service enough. Really impressed with Robbie. After speaking with him and checking out the website--complete with a Gallery of past performance (a picture is worth a 1000 words, right?) I've recommended Scope to both multi-unit complexes and single family homes. Professional! read more

Sevak at Scope Environmental was amazing at not only restoring my air to normal after the fires, but also at putting my mind at ease. I felt he was very upfront about the costs and needs and did not rush to push any services on me that weren't needed. He was also available for follow up questions I had, which I appreciated. read more

A pipe broke in the wall behind our kitchen sink and had been leaking water for almost a week before the mildew smell became too much for me to handle and I was able to notice it. I called the plumber who recommended Scope, they came out and evaluated the situation and told me they would work with my insurance company directly. From there they came out, set up some equipment (rather noisy equipment, in truth) and once my insurance approved the work, they managed the entire process and all I had to pay was my deductible, and for the plumbing repair work. They removed two walls, were able to save my granite countertop and my cabinets. Unfortunately, I had poor quality flooring and a lot of that had to be replaced. Shaun and his team managed the entire process for me, and rebuilt my kitchen ahead of schedule. read more

What a pleasure to work with. When my house had major damage, a lot of water restoration players surfaced, but it was scope environmental that was actually honest and thorough. They earned my trust and business! Wouldn't have it any other way. read more

I never got to work with them. I scheduled an appointment. They gave me a 2 hour time frame for their person to come in on Saturday 2/16/2019. On the day of the appointment, about an hour and a half into the time frame, their person called and said he was running late and would not make it. He asked to reschedule for Monday 2/18/2019. He said he would let the front office know but he didn't give me a time frame. No one showed up on Monday. I called the front office and asked if someone was coming. The lady said that there was no scheduled appointment for me. She rescheduled for Tuesday 2/19/2019 after 4:30pm. She said that because it was technically after hours, she would have anyone available after 4:30 to come in, with a call letting me know they were coming 30 minutes before they come in. On Tuesday, no one came by. I decided that I gave plenty of chances. I was beyond patient and it's too bad that this happened. Update: I just got a call from one of the owners. He apologized for missing the appointments. He stated that it should not had happened and he was looking into where the mistakes was made. I appreciate being called and for taking responsibility. For that, I'm increasing my stars. read more

Woke up to a leak, a pipe broke in my upstairs bathroom causing significant water damage to my home. Thankfully was able to find Scope, they were referred by my insurance company. They came in one hour which was really impressive given it was 2am in the morning. They explained every step and were very professional and knowledgable. They really knew how to take care of this, and what's amazing is they didn't charge me anything. They took care of the water damage, and replaced almost all the floors in my house, repainted and changed out the majority of my upstairs bath. I hope I never have a problem like this but if I do, I know who to call first. Will definitely use again and recomend. read more

So we had an extensive mold issue in our kitchen and needed remediation. Luckily for us, we found these guys who came highly recommended to us. From the first guy who gave us the estimate to the guys who did the work, the service and attention to detail was fantastic. They were very professional in every way. They were efficient, very clean and great at communicating each and every detail. Veronika was especially helpful over the phone. She had immense knowledge of the details of what they do from demolition to remediation to construction. She thoughtfully and patiently addressed all of concerns. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. read more

I very recently had a mold situation in my home and received this referral from Renee Bornstein of The Home Team Compass Real Estate. This was the most efficient experience I have ever had in the repair and maintenance world. I would highly recommend this company and especially enjoyed working with Eric and Veronica. read more

I had just moved into my condo and had such a horrific experience during the holidays dealing with a toilet leak and mold underneath my tiles and concrete which also affected my downstairs neighbor. I am so thankful for the work done by Scope from estimating, remediating the mold, advising about testing and restoration. Sevak, Veronika and Peter are not only professions but are good, empathetic people. Insurance did not cover any of the costs to do the work and Veronika was extremely understanding and considerate of my predicament. My bathroom still needs to be restored and I am choosing their company to do the work as well. I am so happy that I chose Scope. I know that their work is great and so are the people I deal with. read more

Scope is amazing!! I cannot say enough positive things about Scope. They are so professional and easy to work with. We had major damage to our home due to a storm and they were quick to respond and even stepped in to help deal with unresponsive insurance agents! Worst company ever! I will give them the benefit of the doubt since it was around the holiday but that's still no excuse for the poor service they provided. They left those loud fans in our home for 5 days straight and never came to check on them. They only came to pick them up because we prompted them to come check and they found out the area was dry. The actual construction work remains untouched til this day. They didn't even do anything but place some fans and the cost was over $2000. This was the first water loss we had ever experienced and they knew this and I feel like they took full advantage of us. We finally decided to go with another company and I kept asking for an invoice so that we could pay and be done with it but they never provided one. So finally our adjuster wrote an emergency repair estimate and a check and I sent this estimate to them and all of a sudden they knew how much was due and it turns out it was the exact amount our appraiser wrote the estimate and check for. I would not recommend this company at all. read more

Thank you to the staff at Scope Environmental for doing such a great job repairing the water damage at our location.

I had a terrible water leak in my house and thank god I called Scope! It was the middle of the night and they showed up in less than an hour. I couldn't believe it. They set up equipment and took care of everything they could. They came back later that day and every day from then on to check on things. The reason I love this company is because they even offer construction services and rebuild everything to better than before. The office staff is great and kept me updated so I never had to wonder what was going to happen next. I would highly recommend Scope if you have any emergency problems. read more

Yvonne and Veronika walked me through the process of mold remediation in a carpeted bedroom that was damaged from a pinhole leak in a water heater. Amazing how much damage water can do when it ends up where you don't want it! I had to coordinate with a floor installer and they were able to work with my timing so the two procedures could be done in two sequential days. The finished product turned out great.
