This company helped me very promptly and professionally when I had a sewage backup that flooded my basement crawlspace. Sevak explained carefully everything that had to be done and came out the next morning, which was a Saturday, to get this crisis situation taken care of. We had a pretty good water leak from our upstairs bathroom running into the kitchen. Scope came out and removed all the affected drywall and installed the dryers. Do not use this company!!! My insurance sent this company to my home to assess minor water damage. They took some moisture readings and set up dehumidifier and a fan then said they'd be back in a few days. They proceeded to tell me that they could take care of all my repair needs. I told them I wanted to wait until insurance approved my claim before I agree to any work. When the service man (different than the first guy) returned days later, he looked at some papers and he said "oh great, your numbers are coming down. First they were up here, then they went down to X, and now they are here. That means dehumidifier is working. Ummmm... your company has only been to my house twice, not three times. Why do you have three readings? Is it because you're trying to inflate everything to get insurance approval and get maximum claim dollar approval? Fast forward a few more days. My claim is approved (verbally) by my insurance. Scope finally comes back and picks up their equipment. Now I would like to wait to get approval letter and payment from my insurance before I do anything . My plan is to get a couple quotes as a normal person would then decide who will do the work. Well Scope keeps calling and calling. I don't call them back because I'm still waiting for approval letter from insurance. Scopes aggressiveness plus the shady moisture readings are now turning me off and I decide I'm not going to get work done by them no matter what. I guess since I wasn't calling them back they changed their tactic and started leaving messages saying they needed to talk to me about my account balance? I know the insurance pays for the dehumidifier and assessment which is all they did, so I still don't call them back. A few days later they step it up a notch -- they sent me an invoice for the dehumidifier for an outrageous amount of money. Their invoice indicated that the dehumidifier was still in my possession- which at this point it had been over a month. What?! I'm sorry the water damage wasn't that bad I don't need a dehumidifier running for a month. It was only at my house for a few days. I notified them of their error and they did correct it, but I feel that was just another tactic to try to get me to call them, which I do not appreciate. They just wanted to talk to me try to convince me to let them do my repair services. Please find an honest company to handle your water damage! read more

These guys are amazing! They showed up quickly and gave us piece of mind after our pipe burst. Because we have two small kids, were extremely worried with mold. I give Scope 5 stars for their integrity. Another company told me that I needed a few thousand dollars of remediation from water damage. That business has several bad reviews for running up charges. So I contacted Scope based upon other positive reviews. I would have used them for the service but their technician Freddy inspected everything thoroughly and said moisture levels in my drywall were completely normal and there is no mold. He said there was no remediation work needed. So if you want to get an honest estimate I highly recommend Scope and for their honesty and integrity. read more

These guys are lifesavers! We had a leak in the roof and it was supposed to rain (odd in LA, I know) and they had Sevak out in a few hours to patch the leak. Poor Sevak had to get on the roof as it was starting to rain, but he was super professional and did a great job. He was done in about an hour or less. Due to their lack of knowledge in glass repairs, they left us in a situation where we are unable to replace our glass to its original condition appropriately. We had a hidden leak in a walk-in closet that grew black mold. Called Scope and got an immediate evaluation and estimate for cleanup, tear-out of affected areas, drying the walls, rebuilding, repainting, putting in shelves and installing new carpet. $5500 to take care of a messy, dangerous project. The workers were knowledgeable, and very professional. In addition we had a project manager (Veronika) always available by phone or email to answer questions and scheduling. They even supplied an air scrubber to keep plaster dust out of our adjoining bedroom. They got here in an hour, my plumber fixed the leak ( supper silly it was just an angle stop). Last week it rained and we found out our roof was leaking. We called our insurance and they sent out scope environmental. Sevak and another tech came, they were very pleasant and professional. They are able to take care of the roof, moisture removal, mold and put all back together again like it never happened. They worked directly with my insurance.
