Billed over 380.00 to review my two Seadoos then determined they would sell me the parts, but wouldn't do any work (despite having the Seadoos for two weeks) because it might harm their reputation because of their age and would not be able to guarantee the work. But get this...tested them, but didn't actually put in new batteries for the test...hmmmmm. Said I needed a starter, but really just a voltage regulator. Needed a DESS post...nope just a key. Wouldn't even do a carb cleaning but DID PUT IN SPARK PLUGS. However, the "authorized" Seadoo. Dealer put in the wrong plugs, but charged my 28.00 nonetheless. This place was beyond useless and the service tech was condescending as he said I forced him to look at it and he was doing my a favor. I need less friends like this and more like Lacey Performance that fixed both of my Seadoos in under 4 hours. Waste of money and time. I would Love to hear from the owner as I was told he was unavailable on a Saturday morning (July 20, 2024) to speak to me.

I'd stopped in there before and made small talk and in general had a very good impression of the place. When money was not so tight I stopped off to buy a new helmet from a very good looking one marked on sale. They were very good about it and made sure I under stood it but as I was signing the recipe said that once the helmet left the shop it could not be returned. Which seemed a little odd. Anyway I was thrilled with the helmet's performance and was very happy until I noticed the price for the very same item elsewhere. Even on sale at this place it was still some $40-$50 more here than elsewhere. That knowledge really soured the deal and made me feel more than a little cheated. It's a nice place to look, but check the price before you buy.

Jake at Cycle Gear helped us pick out boots, chest protectors, knee and elbow protection, gloves, helmets and goggles. We got to the store late and I had no idea that we were still shopping 25 minutes after the store was closed. Jake never rushed us, he answered all our questions and made multiple trips to the back room to check for different sizes. When it was all done I spent a lot but HUNDREDS less than I thought I was going to. Huge selection, great prices and Jake was great. If my boys stay with this hobby I will definitely be going back to buy more equipment.

Gave me directions to other shops, and suggestions on what to look for there. A salesman who will tell you when their products aren't the best ones for you is a salesman I really trust--absolutely huge shoutout. I didn't buy anything here, but learned exactly what I needed to. I also did some price comparison here versus online shopping--it's definitely a bit pricier, but not outrageously more pricy. It's in the solidly competitive region, with the bonus of getting to try it on for fit immediately, and walk out with the helmet you want.

Long story short the screws to my visor came out. Walked in, greeted by Jay and another employee. Two very happy people. Nothing but good energy. Jay assisted me in buying a helmet. He asked what I was looking for. I gave him my pointers. He went about his business, soon as I made eye contact with him anytime he would answer my questions right away. He let me try on helmets no problem. If I was deciding between 2 he gave me pros and cons about each one. Then when I went back to being lost on which one to buy he wouldn't hover over me which I liked. I like having space to think when making a larger purchase. Then got more condescending and obnoxious from there. I told him the features I wanted and he said that's it like it wasn't enough information. Then when I asked where the lever was for the visor he said it's on the left. Because when you ride a motorcycle you don't want to take you hand off the throttle like I never rode one.
