I noticed the 4 $ showing it pricy, it might be for many but now a days that can be normal but is…read morethe price the issue. i believe these people are highly competent and trustworthy and no slight of hand tricks in giving proper service and and repair. why do i say that ! i was traveling from AC to NY long Island 11725. while on the highway the car ran over something and gas started leaking . i got off at a 7-11, ck the car and seen it was the fuel filter got hit and puncture. watching the gas gauge, going down, I stopped and picked up a filter at the parts store [ was going to do myself but started to rain, asked the parts guy where a good mechanic can ge found.] I went to the garage, he said he was lone and had a job to be delivered in a short while and couldn't help but said ck out Stafford. Stafford shop was very welcoming for a neighborhood garage clean an tv while waiting, coffee an things for the wait. I explained my plite and he quickly had me bring the car to the shop [ in back] i was prepared to get the dreaded evil mother in law price! after all i'm stuck with my family and half way home. 15 min later Dan Arnold says ; your cars ready! and the grand total was ....... $20 bucks ! WTF! this guy nuts? where i'm from, its one hr to go on the lift . thats $90 shop to $140 dealer. I said HOW ? : he said it took just 5 min. your stuck and on the road going home with your family! We wanted to hug this guy ! i promised to post this good will and trustworthy business and Dan for doing exactly what i would have done, I've spent 40 years a mechanic in the business and all those years in i've only known a hand full of people like us. to give before taking. I'm so proud to have met someone on the top shelf like him. and I'm sure if you got a bill you may think its high, i'm sure the quality and honesty is well worth the few extra bucks you may put out . but a clear conscious that your car is in good hands and well repaired rather than did i get a good deal or fixed right an should I worry. Not with Stafford !...trust me! the majority shops are thieves and the car not fixed right. if ! and i say if ! something did go wrong to bring it back But also ! " Remember its a Car" and usually things go in series or the issue was part of the problem and that could only be found after the first is fixed. and i'm sure he will remedy the problem or explain the issue. im a mechanic for 40 years and when i see good i want to tell everyone. this place is top shelf, trust your car to him. i'm sure he is going to live up to his reputation and above all his values. I promised to say something on here back in April ,but i lost his card. last weekend i cleaned the car and found it under the seat. I like keeping my word and here it is . thanks Dan! and your crew! PS he knew nothing of my background and I lost a 1/4 tank gas. not too bad ! if i were a younger man I'd love to have worked with you ! jean raymond, line mechanic and paint/body man 40 years.

I want to give a big thumbs-up to Mavis Discount Tire for standing behind their work and warranty…read more A few weeks ago, I purchased four new tires, rear shocks, and an alignment. Within a few days, we started noticing a stiff banging sensation in the rear when hitting potholes. I brought the vehicle back to Mavis, and they quickly diagnosed the issue -- one of the new rear shocks was leaking. Without any hassle, they replaced both rear shocks promptly and at no charge under the warranty. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The local staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, which really made a difference. It's refreshing to deal with a shop that truly stands by their service and takes customer concerns seriously. Highly recommend Mavis Discount Tire for both their service and their warranty support.

They seemed understanding and pleasant, but said that since some time had elapsed since the service, they couldn't resolve it. I called four more times before the Regional Training Manager called and left me a message just to call him back. Six more calls to him, and he called but didn't leave a message. Several more calls to him and no response. An absolutely awful experience, and terrible customer service. After about 40 years of loyal and trusted patronage, first with STS and then Mavis, I'm done with them.

I found Quality Tires while in Barnegat visiting my parents, I couldn't have been happier with the…read moreservice and value I found there I needed four new tires for my Honda Accord, and stopped in to check it out. Pat helped me pick out the right tires. He assessed my needs (I'm selling the car in a few months) and helped me with my choices. He wasn't pushy, trying to sell me over priced tires I didn't need. The tires were put on quickly and I was on my way! I will be making the trip there again soon for my other car and I told my parents that they must bring their car here for service too.

They put a Goodyear Assurance tire on it and didn't match the other Fuzion tires that were on the car. Never called me to tell me that they were going to put a non matching tire on the car. When the car was ready I picked it up and drove for several weeks and I called the GM Pat and told him I was hearing road noise with the tire. Asked him if that was because the tire didn't match the others and he said maybe because the tire is new it needs to wear a little. So I drove several more months and brought the Car in for service to get a oil and filter change and asked if he could check the tire because the noise is still there. He called when the car was ready and said they really didn't hear anything and my car was ready for pickup. Several weeks later I brought the car back to him and asked if he can put the new tire from the rear to the front of the car to see for sure it the noise was coming from the new tire. I picked up the car and drove it and sure enough the noise was now coming from the front where the new tire was, I called Pat and he asked if I could bring the car in again. I left the car overnight so he can take test drives, he called me the next day and said nothing was wrong with the tire and he could not exchange it because since there is no defect that Goodyear would not reimburse him for the tire. And he suggested that since the 3 Fuzion tires are cheap Chinese tires that maybe I should just bear with the noise until I'm ready to replace the other 3 tires. I left there with a bad taste in my mouth and decided that I'm going elsewhere and buy 4 brand new tires. This morning I did that and low and behold the brand new tire that Goodyear sold me was not new, it was a fairly new tire that had been plugged and patched already. They sold me a used tire for $169 and passed it off as NEW. They had several chances to look at this tire when I brought the car in and they never told me that the tire had a patch and plug. Or at least ask me if I had the tire patched since I bought it. THEY RIPPED ME OFF and I called to tell him about it today and he hung up on me. BEWARE!!!! Do not go there, they are not honest!!!
