Of course my parents freaked out (an accurate response) and immediately called OTA at 7:30am the following morning. Not only did they take my car right away, but it was fixed by that same afternoon! One of my rear shocks had bit the dust. While my car was there, they also checked the alignment and inspected my car, which saved me an additional trip. Joe, the Service Manager, was a complete gentleman and down-to-earth guy. Unfortunately I do not live in the area and was only visiting my parents for the weekend, but I recommend this Auto Care Center to everyone!! Good and quick service. Fair prices. They don't try to rip you off like many other places do. Love them!

I was referred to this establishment through a scholarship grant to have my car repaired…read more Initially, the shop provided one price, but when I arrived, I was given a completely different amount and told I would have to pay the difference.All I did was ask for clarification, since the price they gave my school did not match what I was being charged. As it turns out, the original amount I was told was correct. However, when I questioned the discrepancy, the employee, Cody, became very rude and defensive. When my keys were returned, I calmly explained to another employee that Cody had been disrespectful and that I was simply trying to understand the charges. At that point, Cody became extremely aggressive. As I was leaving, he came out of his office, raised his middle finger at me, and called me a racial slur. This behavior was completely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. Up until this incident, I had a positive experience scheduling my appointment and arranging the service. However, no customer deserves to be treated this way. For someone in a position of ownership, this conduct is alarming and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

It was time to…read moreservice the vehicle and based on yelp reviews I scheduled an appointment with Petty Motor-works. Tom (the father) answered the phone and helped me schedule the appointment. I dropped off the vehicle today around 9AM and was greeted by Tom (the father), he explained appropriately how much it would cost and told me that they were down a few men due to COVID but, my car would be ready by the end of the day. At 11:15 Tom (the father) contacted me to tell my car was ready. I went to pickup my vehicle around 2PM and was greeted by Tom (the son) he explained what was done and also explained that there was pieces of the brake pad sticking to the brake disc. Tom said that this was something that may fix itself as the vehicle is driving or may need servicing in a he future. I was pleased with the service and the way both Tom's treated the customer.

The service rep attempted to upsell me on products I did not need. I feel like they messed up my vehicle because they took all day to complete a simple task which raises many suspicious questions about their integrity. I'd avoid feeling like you need to pursue legal advice by avoiding this store.

After dropping my car off early on a Saturday I had to wait until they were almost closed to get it back (many hours later). They told me my "tire treads were low" so they couldn't rotate them and that I should seriously consider getting new tires. I did the quarter test at home and my tires were still in excellent condition! Also the new wiper blades they had put on at the previous visit were so cheap that they had not even lasted six months! The originals had been on for over 2 years by comparison. I really think they think "dumb female" when they see a female walk in. I used to work in a car dealership so I am aware of the tricks they use to up their personal commission. Maybe "corporate" needs to keep a closer eye on this shop?

The price was lowered to 64 dollars after I commented, but that is still completely absurd. I have never in my life, not even at a dealership, been charged this amount of money for a standard oil change. I will not be back here and advise others to steer clear.
