This was about $80 I was overcharged. It is important to note that I am a young woman who came in by myself when dropping off the car and dealing with the phone calls. After I paid, I knew something weird was going on so I made my husband go back inside and ask about the alignment charge. I was immediately given a refund, only after I sent my husband in to correct the mistake. I have a feeling this was not an honest mistake and just the employee taking advantage of a young woman coming into a car shop alone. If it was an honest mistake, they need to be way more careful because this mistake cost them my business as I will never be back. If you are a young woman bringing your car here, I suggest going somewhere else, but if you have to, look over every individual charge before handing over your card. Extremely disappointing and discouraging experience and I will make everyone I know aware of this situation.

I dropped off the vehicle today around 9AM and was greeted by Tom (the father), he explained appropriately how much it would cost and told me that they were down a few men due to COVID but, my car would be ready by the end of the day. At 11:15 Tom (the father) contacted me to tell my car was ready. I went to pickup my vehicle around 2PM and was greeted by Tom (the son) he explained what was done and also explained that there was pieces of the brake pad sticking to the brake disc. Tom said that this was something that may fix itself as the vehicle is driving or may need servicing in a he future. I was pleased with the service and the way both Tom's treated the customer.

I normally change my own oil, but because I didn't have access to my tools for a few months, I brought my vehicle here for an oil change. When it came time for the next oil change and I went to remove the engine splash shield, I discovered that two holes had been cut into it--one below the oil filter and another below the drain plug. I had replaced this splash shield in 2022, and there was no reason for it to have holes cut into it. Removing the shield properly requires taking out about 15 bolts, so it appears someone may have taken a shortcut rather than removing it as designed. I emailed the Lube DrX with photos of the damage and the cost of replacing the splash shield, simply asking that they reimburse me for the damage. After five days with no response, I called and was met only with, "We would not do that." When I explained that I certainly didn't cut the holes myself and the vehicle had only been to their shop for an oil change, the response was repeated: "We would not do that." Can I prove they did it? No. But the circumstantial evidence certainly points in that direction, and I was disappointed that they wouldn't even have a conversation about it or review the photos. If the technicians were having difficulty removing the splash shield, I wish they had simply asked me first. I would have declined the work and taken the vehicle elsewhere rather than have parts of my car permanently damaged. Now I'm out the cost of another splash shield. Should have went to Valvoline but wanted to save a few bucks. Lesson learned--you often get what you pay for.

I requested: Oil and filter change- not performed- not charged Front and rear differential oil change,- not performed and charged Transmission fluid and filter change- they told me they flushed the transmission added new fluid and a $40 additive I didn't request,the filter was not changed and the fluid appeared to be in the same condition when I dropped it off. I requested the transfer case oil to be changed, it was not performed and not charged for. I requested the cooling system be flushed and new anti freeze added. I asked if the anti freeze was new and they said yes, it was the same dirty condition before I arrived. They tried to sell me a water pump which is not leaking They told me I needed a power steering pump which is not leaking. After all this I was charged over $800. It's safe to say they lost a loyal customer.

As it turns out, the original amount I was told was correct. However, when I questioned the discrepancy, the employee, Cody, became very rude and defensive. When my keys were returned, I calmly explained to another employee that Cody had been disrespectful and that I was simply trying to understand the charges. At that point, Cody became extremely aggressive. As I was leaving, he came out of his office, raised his middle finger at me, and called me a racial slur. This behavior was completely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. Up until this incident, I had a positive experience scheduling my appointment and arranging the service. However, no customer deserves to be treated this way. For someone in a position of ownership, this conduct is alarming and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this establishment.
