Last night they lost my business. As always I would come right after work ends at 5. I got there at 5:19. There was a different guy up front than normal, so maybe it isn't their regular policy. He turned me away. Businesses need to be careful to turn away regular customers who are just asking for routine service in the way they have always been asking for it. When you advertise that you are do 10 minute oil changes, and you close at 5:30, it shouldn't be a problem to take one last customer. In summary: they don't value loyal customers, they're lazy, and their advertised hours are false and/or misleading.

The closest exit was just a mile away so we made our way there. We literally spent at least 3 hours going from place to place to find help. No one could help, it's like there is no one in Toms River who knows how to change 20's tires. None of the tire places on Route 37 "had the machine" (which sounded so ridiculous) or that we had to leave the car for 2 days to get tire change. Seriously?! 2 days for a tire change! At that point we were calling tow truck and then suddenly my boyfriend says: "Hey, this is the only place left that we didn't go to. Let's ask them." I lost any hope at that point. The car was on the highway with a blown up tire (at that point we were already driving on the rim) - and then I saw JOE - literally our savior. He came out all the way from the shop to check the car out, calmed us down, helped to park the car and even recommended a place for lunch. He was so professional and at the same time very personable - he understood the situation and that we are 100 miles from home so he without any hesitation moved us straight In front of everyone else in the line and help us to change the tire. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I don't know his position but I hope Joe is a manager of this place. He deserves a raise. Because of him we safely got home.

Called up Midas at 9:00am the day after Labor Day and was told that they were 4-5 hours backed up…read more I was pretty disappointed about that since I had to drive up 2-3 hours to Connecticut and my oil life was less than 10%. I didn't want to risk anything, so I gave these guys a call. They said to come on over. Luckily, it's a 5 minute drive from my mom's place. Got there and there was no line for an oil change. Took exactly 35 minutes, which was much better than my 2 hour wait for an oil change in the past. The previous location I went to didn't tell me that there would be a 2 hour wait, but the guy at the front desk at Pro-Cat told me that they would always give a heads up when they are backed up which I appreciated. The guy at the front desk explained that their full synthetic oil wasn't the brand that I was looking for, but he assured me that it was good quality. He even gave me advice on how to better take care of my ignition and to follow the owner's manual to give my car a longer life since it's a new car. My oil changes aren't cheap since my oil is full synthetic, but I'm happy to come back here for great service and friendly mechanics. Very thankful for this experience!

Location has several jobs already in the shop. Gentleman tells it will be a while. A while turned into just under two hours. I am there for a tire repair, which they fixed. I needed new wipers and gave them the add on sales. I asked for a high end wipers. I was informed they were $50, ok. Big mistake. $105 for the wipers and $50 to install. Tire repair $29, total bill over $200. Live and learn.
