Nothing could be further from the truth at Brick's Best. When I arrived at Brick's Best, I was greeted immediately by friendly faces who took my appt right on time. They invited me to have fresh coffee with cold Milk, some packaged snacks, and a sparkling clean bathroom. They diagnosed my issue in less than 10 mins and discovered another issue that I didn't expect and said they would fix that too. They promised it would be done before I left...and within an hour, it was done. They even took the initiative to replace my loose plastic engine plugs at no addl. I've worked on cars since I was a teenager, but I don't have a place anymore to do so. If they weren't honest, I'd know it. They've never tried to upsell me on anything. They've never been and will never be the "replace your blinker fluid" type of shop. True honest guys that I fully trust. They DO, however, add a 3% fee for using your credit card, so bring cash! First time my car was in, the AC got fixed and it still works perfectly over a year later. Second time, the brakes needed to be done. They replaced the pads, rotors, and calipers - all of which I knew were the problem. The left caliper was sticking (I suspected so,) causing the bulk of my bill. That wasn't an upsell, it was necessary. I also need to get a wheel bearing replaced, but because it's another $400+ job, that will have to wait. Instead of pushing me into it, they warned of the risk, and said it isn't loose, so I do have some time as long as I stick to local driving. That was a relief to have the option to accumulate some money again. I have called around and compared prices, and they are even, if not cheaper than competitors. Fear not! You are not being price gouged!

Brakes were slowly going and my brake light had been on…read more Gave Rich's a call; they said I could bring the car in the next day! Dropped off the car, got a couple of update texts with digital photos during the day. They diagnosed the problem as a brake fluid leak. I didn't like the look of some other parts in the photos, so asked them to do the extra work. Picked up the car the next day; brakes were just as soft as when I brought it in!! I called and brought the car right back. Didn't have a ride home, ‍ but they were nice enough to offer me a ride home. Pretty disappointed as a first time customer.
