Had I been driving in the city or on the GSP when the engine shut down I would have been killed! Stay away from this service station. After the service was complete i tried to apply my windshield washer fluid and it did not come out. I asked the technician ( ioannis from what the receipt says ) if they still add the fluid in as part of the service and his response was " oh must have forgot " and kept walking to his car without a care in the world about his poor performance in his task he paid to do. But thankfully Jesse the manager was still there and gave me a container of fluid and all was good .... so I thought, as soon as i pull off i feel a wobble in my tire and start thinking what did they do or not do. Come to find out after inspecting my car and even checking my oil ( Incase he forgot ) i found a bolt/massive nail in my tire, normally the parking lot and entire facility is very clean but i guess that isn't an everyday thing........ really liked going there prior to this experience so I'm hoping it gets corrected immediately

Well, in the past they haven't "lied" or exaggerated the need for service to my previous cars but this time they did. I had brought it in for a tune up but I had noticed the heat was taking longer than usual to warm up and the other day the check engine light came on for a second and then went off. So, the guy told me the mechanic saw it overheating and coolant coming out and it was crazy and all the hoses had to be replaced ASAP. He said it was un-drivable and would be like $2,000 to replace. I was so upset and felt hopeless and started to think who I could call to borrow the money. I thought it was strange because I hadn't seen it overheat and the gauge never moved past halfway. He was showing me pictures of how it looked and all. I told him I needed to see if another mechanic was cheaper and if they would let me pay over time. I called the guy who does my tires and he referred me to Meineke. He said he goes there when he needs work on his car. He told me they were honest. I asked the guy at the dealer if it was safe to drive the 20 minutes to Brick and he said he thinks it should be okay. So, I arrived at Meineke and spoke to RJ. I told him the story. He said he thinks they were exaggerating. So, RJ visually looked at the hoses and he said all looked good except one but it was hard to see. He didn't see any overheating. He couldn't see me that day but scheduled me for Friday first thing (it was Wednesday). He told me he would fill the reserve with coolant and then him and the others in the shop loved how the dealer told me they couldn't put any coolant in the reserve because it had to be my car type of coolant and it would take an hour to get that done. I was annoyed the dealer let me drive with no coolant in the reserve for the 20 minute drive and then find out the car could take general coolant for cars. I left and later bought extra coolant just in case. I returned on Friday morning and they checked it out. Turns out I only needed a clamp of the heater hose. That is why the heat wasn't getting so warm and why the coolant was leaking. I applied for the Synchrony Car Care card in the shop, which they take for all services, and got approved. I didn't even know a card like this existed but it's good for people who can't pay for all their auto expenses up front. Since the part was so cheap, only $50 and not $2k, I got a tune up (since my car is over 100k miles) and they replaced two bulbs that were out. All for the grand total of $314! This business has been family owned since 1979 by the grandparents. I met the son and his son (RJ) and they told me other family members work there as well. The customers in the waiting room told me they wouldn't take their car anywhere else. This is the type of place I would love to go back to. And as a side note, the guys next door at Quicky Discount Oil Change were nice and helpful as well. I will be bringing my car to get my oil changed there in the future.

Earned Trust Friendly Service…read more Timely Knowledgeable Communication I've been going to Eagle Speed Oil & Lube for years now. Greg is the head mechanic, and he is a wizard who magically diagnosed an exhaust issue by listening to my engine for a total of 10 seconds. It was amazing to witness. No computer sensors needed. Don't be intimidated by his gruff voice. He's a softy with a wry sense of humor. But, the real boss is Greg's wife, Ellen who runs the office. She keeps everybody moving, respects your time and pocketbook, and always makes sure the job gets done. Whether it is an oil change or an engine overhaul, Eagle Speed handles it all with clear communication and realistic timelines. They take walk-Ins as well. They are pet friendly and will recommend you walk a block to Dunkin' Donuts or to walk the track across the street and get some exercise while you wait. When you go, ask for Greg or Ellen or trust anyone who works for EagleSpeed. He's an old school mechanic who makes great recommendations if he can't do the job himself. He knows everyone in the business and has a stellar reputation. Whether you are a gear head or a mechanical menace like myself who relies on trusting the professionals not to rip me off, you'll be treated right at EagleSpeed Oil&Lube! I promise you that any expectations you have will be surpassed. Thank you Greg & Ellen ! Sincerely, Joe P

Not wanting to put my family at risk, I was fortunate enough to find this Mavis Discount tire location down the street from my Aunt and Uncle's house where I was visiting. Not only did they have tires in stock that would work on this Tesla, they were able to get me in same day. There were a few people ahead of me so it took a little while but completely understandable showing up late in the day. I am a technician by trade and I was happy to see how detail oriented they were - they have the correct Tesla adapters for their lift, they cleaned the hub mating surface before putting the wheels back on the car, used a torque stick and a wrench and set the proper 42psi tire pressure. I was also advised the vehicle could benefit from an alignment (which clearly has an issue but it wasn't my car anyway so I had to pass) I was extremely satisfied with the service - the car weirdly did not have any regenerative braking after they were done (apparently this is a Tesla quirk) but a quick click on the tire maintenance reset button on the touch screen was all it needed - no big deal. All in all an excellent experience. - Their house brand of Mavis all season tires are an excellent value and they ride great. I appreciate not being upsold as it wasn't my car anyway. If anyone is wondering, they are 235/45/ZR18 98W XL's which are exactly what these cars are spec'd for. You don't need run flats or those stupid foam filled ones. Already put over 100 miles on them as of this review.
